Dude. I don’t know if you make any money off these videos but Iv learned more from you than all my ent and neurology doctors combined. The next step for me is balloon dilation and I’m terrified that it might worsen my symptoms so I’m gonna hit it hard with all of your exercises.

I've not eaten any gluten, dairy, or sugar for 3 weeks, added Kefir and bone broth to my diet, very clean eating - and my ETD and resulting tinnitus (of 2.5 months due to allergies?) has slowly been improving. I also do one of the two massage videos you have posted 1-2x per day. I hope I continue to get better.

Dr. Fields, I cant thank you enough. I have suffered from clogged eustachian tubes off and on for many years. Recently, I've had a clogged eustachian tube for about a month and 1/2. So, I finally went to a local doctor and they told me to take some Zyrtec. Well, that didn't work. So, today I found you and started watching some of your videos. The first video was on messaging different part parts of the ears and skull. So I did that. Then I started watching another one of your videos and honestly half way through the other video I started to get mucus drainage from the messaging technique that I had learned from you just minutes before. Wow!!!! It was so simple, but so effective! I almost cant believe it. Thank you so much. I like that you want people to be more self sustainable when it comes to their health. That's a true sign of a good person.

It went form my orthodontist telling me my mouth will stay with the two fingers opening which I refused to believe, to now having the full range of motion.. but now Tinitus is being the issue, my ears always feel "full" and with pressure.. this really helped a lot! I can even feel fluid moving around that area.. I loved this video because it also targets the TMJ. Thank you so much for your uplifting and positive videos

Women be aware that perimenopause can cause ear problems due to the drying up of mucus membranes. Estrogen falling affects ENT so much and can cause tinitus , clogged ears, sore ears, itchy ears and hot ears....perimenopause can also affect sinuses and increase allergies due to dryness and this can cause problems with ears like infections etc. Ive been suffering so much because of this lesser know symptom of perimenopause. Never had so much problems now with my ears. So much pain, infection, blocked up...😢

VERY good comment. I imagine you are seeking care from a naturopathic doctor that knows women's health. I really should get a full history before tossing something like this out there but look up hyaluronic acid supplementation. I have used it for women in your circumstance. @@dradamfields I was just making women aware of this lesser known symptom of perimenopause/menopause as so many women suddenly start suffering ENT symptoms at this stage in life and don't join the dots. It may not be the reason but just a consideration.
I'm in the UK and cannot afford fees of private consults but I'm getting help from my own medical services but like you said, ear problems are difficult and especially for women who's ear problems are hormonal. Thanks for the reply and suggestions.

Hi Katrina, I had the exact same problem as you for years and got rid of it by using the following:
      1. Low histamine diet
      2. Ancestral supplement colostrum (6 pills/day)
      3. Omne Diem DAO (1 capsule enzyme)
      4. Seeking Health | ProBiota HistaminX (1 a day)
I got my problem after a Keto Diet and consuming Garden of Life probiotics. This will heal your gut and give you back your health, don’t eat:
Pineapple, vinegar, spinach, tea (black-green), coffee, chocolate (specially dark), yoghurt or fermented foods. Just google histamine foods and avoid them, all do I consume them now that I have cured my problem and symptoms are gone after 6 months of doing the above, best of luck hope you can benefit from my experience.

I do not want to have this ringing in my ears for 17 or 18 years like a few of my friends have dealt with… I’ve been listening to your videos. I’ve been doing the exercises in hopes that the ringing will subside somewhat… I’ve only been watching for eight days, and I’ve learned so much from you… I have shared your videos with lots of my friends and they have done some of the videos and said it has helped them with things like headaches and breathing better.. so I will let you know if the ringing calms down after watching a few more of your videos… But I will tell you, I did watch just one of your video of dry eyes and that actually helped me immediately… So thank you

Beware though that it may make you gag at first. I have another suggestion for you, something that I just tried last night and it really helped me so I've been having success with it all day. I had some of those nasal sticks for stuffy noses in my bathroom and I used one and kept switching from one nostril to the other for like two hours and wow, that really made a difference and it helped me to clear out a lot of congestion and even brought down the volume of my ringing which is being caused by my clogged Eustachian Tubes. I'm not a doctor, I don't know if it's safe so do your own investigating but this is working for me and I'm going to keep at it!! I also just purchased a personal steamer with menthol pads which gives some relief and I tried a nasal balloon today and that helped a lot! Hi again, Doctor Fields! Thanks so much for your response to my comment on your other ETD video! I actually have watched this one as well haha.
Firstly, thank you so much for helping so many people who aren't even your own patients. I live in Syracuse, New York- not a huge city, but not a small one either. We also have many hospitals in the area, so I figured finding an ENT to help me would be simple. Boy, I was wrong. I have called and called and called- nobody here deals with EDT! So I have been using your videos religiously in attempt to help myself.
My issues started back in 2017 when I, out of the blue, had a severe case of idiopathic angioedema. For roughly six months, I would wake up every other day with a random part of my body so swollen I had to go to the hospital. I was on prednisone for roughly a year and have only had a few issues since. The only lasting damage has been to the tubes in my ears. I don't think I have tinnitus because I only hear a crackling sound and feel fullness when I swallow. Thankfully, I am not in any pain, either. But it has been incredibly frustrating- it is to the point where it is now effecting my day to day life. I plug my ears whenever I have to swallow because I don't want to hear the crackle or feel the fullness. I was lucky enough to find your channel and have watched everything you have uploaded (not just ear issues!). I have had sinus problems my entire life so I find a lot of your information valuable.
And I feel like I am so close, but just can't quite pass the finish line! I have done every technique you showed us in your first video and it feels like things are trying to move in there. I bought a device called a eustachi, but that hasn't helped. I have had doctors flush my ears with no breakthroughs. I have tried ear drops, ear wax remover drops, hydrogen peroxide all with no help. I have taken OTC allergy meds literally every day which haven't made the problem worse, but haven't made it better. I have taken hearing tests and pass them easily, so my doctors shrug me off and say there isn't anything we can do.
Some days are better than others. I psychologically tell myself I won't let it bother me, but it is getting more and more difficult. I have gotten into the habit where I clench my teeth as hard as I can because I can hear it crackle, but that isn't helping. I have dug into my canal until I bleed out of frustration. Nobody here will help me so I don't know what to do anymore. I had one moment I will never forget- I yawned and my left ear completely opened for maybe 30 seconds. As awful as it sounds, I don't remember being happier in my life than I was at that moment. But then it went right back to the fullness and crackling.
Sorry for rambling, but it is almost therapeutic to tell a Doctor who truly cares. It is also amazing seeing how many people suffer from the same issue I do. Knowing I am not alone gives me hope somebody will be able to cure this. Thank you again, Doctor. If you ever find yourself traveling through Syracuse, let me know!

I’ve had the balloon dilation procedure which seemed to have helped for about a month. But the crackling and pressure is back. I’m nervouse about having tubes put in my ears because there is slight risks and the lack of help from the balloon procedure hurts my confidence. Praying for the both of us. Lmk if you’ve found relief somehow.

    Hello from Australia Adam!
Great video, I’ll add some of these techniques to my regime, including your ETD exercises.
However I am feeling with something that seems to be a big unique.
My Eustachian tubes, sphenoid and left maxillary sinus became inflamed approx 20 months ago. Recently I’ve been able to extract copious amounts of hard debris from my right eustachian and some from the sphenoid. They resemble tonsil stones, but ENT has confirmed my tonsils and adenoids are not inflamed and not the cause of the stones. I’ve worked closely with a chiro, naturopath and nutritionist to reduce inflammation. However it’s a very slow process, my left eustachian won’t budge and the sphenoid is stubborn. The right eustachian is completely empty up to the isthmus which is too constrictive to allow the tympanic cavity to clear. Any ideas how I could get the hard build-up out of that area?
Could you tell me more about the oxygen treatment for fungi please? Where can I source it and how do I ensure I don’t breathe it into the lungs when spraying into the nose?
    Kind regards
    Kristie

The pressure has ruined my work (I run a small diner here in Mass) By Nature I am a happy go lucky person and love making others happy, but with this constant issue and feeling plugged all the time my concentraiting, focusing and disposition are all affected. I tried accupuncture, Chiropracter, both helped but temporary. Exercise helped but the rebound headaches are worse when the pressure is to tight. Dry air is worse and dairy seems to make it worse so I barely have any dairy. I eat Whole Food and do my own cooking. No Packaged foods except one ingredient packaged food like Canned tomotoes, beans, etc. I am low carbs and trying to get more protein. I live in Toronto and my dad just had a cochlear implant on his right ear after he lost his hearing on his right ear..he still does not hear well on that ear.

There are a number of things. I would go to a chiropractor and see if your upper cervical spine might be involved. Also, it could be your ears. These are the most common

      Sorry for this darn challenge.
Your jaw can lead to balance disparities as well as cause nausea and vision problems.
Let's have you try my TMJ videos. I would start with TMJ 3.
If you can get to a chiropractor, I recommend it.

My left ear closed up over a year ago after a long flight. I’ve always had issues flying with ear pressure. Right ear opened days later, but left never did. I’ve seen 2 ENT’s, had Cat scan, MRI, steroids, antibiotics, tube put in, but no improvement. Given option of surgery, but no guarantee they will find the cause and be able to fix (and risk of permanent dizziness), or hearing aid. Opted for hearing aid, but still trying alternative therapies…these exercises, acupuncture, chiropractor. No success yet.

Dr Fields, can ETD be caused by allergies ? i just moved from MN to SC in November. was loving life until mid January when I caught Covid (im not vaxxed) struggled for about 3 weeks recovered and then in mid February started to get plugged ears, lots of mucus that was not draining but was able to pull through my soft palette, always clear. When I had covid my sinuses were really inflamed, lots of thick bloody mucus but never had an infection or clogged ears, was put on Flonase and it subsided until this February. Up until covid I was doing intermittent fasting but during covid I lost ten pounds i couldn't afford to lose. Doing lots of gentle Valsalva to push air through Eustachion tubes. most time I can hear the air flowing then boom just stops which I assume is air reaching the flexing eardrum. Your thoughts are greatly appreciated

Tried every medication possible including “Neti” last 1 yr daily .
Am on nil sugar diet and oil pulling since the last one month . Very little difference though . Want to try the ozone . Let’s see . Am not to confident on the myringotomy procedure . Pl comment . Any suggestion welcome.

The doctors never found anything, my hearing appeared to be fine, same with my TMJ and Miosfacial Pain, it took so long to be diagnosed and finally do something about it, your videos have helped me a lot, altho for this ear plugged thingy I just dont feel that is possible to heal.

Nasal Ozone Insufflation. He'll need about 5 treatments. check with some naturopathic doctors as they often use ozone.
See my podcast with Dr Josh Donaldson.
AND your husband needs to be 100% off of sugar. Not one gram of refined sugar or honey. Even stay off of high sugar fruits.

I usually get dizziness during the rains. I have been taking steam regularly to keep my sinuses clean but doesn’t seem to help now. I also have congested nose, ear popping ( right one only), dizziness and nothing else. What would you recommend? Thanks!

I recently have had trouble in both ears with blocking then unblocking especially waking up..Thats the biggest pain tring to get my ears to unblock. I recently visited an ENT who found i have a deviated septum which he stated can cause/or be a cause of your ears doing this. He advised I get an Xray and also get a surgical procedure to fix my septum. However I had been fine with my septum being crushed which happened 5 years ago. Ive learnt to live with it and still can get some air through on my left ear (when my Eustachian tubes are working) With finding your videos and just doing these exercises for 1 day, I took a shower after doing your exercises and I had the erge to equalize and I did....Well, Immediatley i felt drainage in my ears and a waxy liquid only a little came out but oh my god the RELIEF! My question is, Should I still have surgery done on my Nose or stick to exercises and maintain a good diet?
