Have you had any issues with mounting the transducer like that? If this is a good solution for mounting a transducer inside a kayak that does not have a mounting point in the bottom then I'm all for it. I didn't get to see it used enough in this video to really understand how well it worked.
Yes not sure if you got your answer but those batteries last quite some time I charged it once and was out for a a few days Ice fishing! It’s a good beginner set up

Does the sealant have to be clear ?
Surely if there is air pockets in the sealant than it will cause interference

Is there a hole in the bottom of the kayak for transducer or does it pick up through the kayak Hull
Bogans Fishing and hunting the transducer is stuck onto the plastic hull and reads through it with no interference. 👍
