I really like the slowking, i like the attack cost the most. as if it was just double colourless you could in theory, turn 2 play slowpoke from your hand use savlatore attach then use the stadium to put kyurem on top and do 90 to 3 pokemon which is basically 3 KO's on any evolving non-v deck. the worst part is it would be so lucky to pull off that you would feel robbed if it happened to you. so i'm happy they gave it an energy type cost, as it can still use Xatu to power up quickly, plus there are a few attacks that hit 200 and over on non-rule boxes.
Chien-pao is doing pretty well for itself imo. People were underrating it so much in twilight and look at it now it got top 32 at naic with a 17th place finish
I can't imagine there's room to play with for it, but carracosta buffing each of dipplin's attacks by 30 would be crazy. That's an extra 60 basically. Extra 120 with 2 out.
the best partners for slowking are conkeldurr (250 damage), annihilape (70x for each prize your opponent has taken), kyurem (110 to 3 pokemon, discard all energy), and aerodactyl (100 damage and devolution)
Thats peculiar, chien pao is an underrated deck and they make a less-than necessary counter against it. Think about it, we got grassers against zard exes Ancient box that damages more per ancient card in discard pile Raging bolt that dish out damage per energy discard A dragon launcher that can put damage counters on basic low HPs and a Regi that copies every dragon type move using a Grass ogerpon Dont forget, lost box players are scared a bit on support card that discards items on hand or deck
Slowking into night wanderer Kyurem seems really funny to be honest. Probably a bad deck friday, but if it finds a way to be consistent, then it looks brutal. 110 to three targets, for 2 energy on a stage 1. You probably want to charge it up with natu

The worst thing about kingdra is that it is an attack itself and need 2 turns to set Up and not even get to attack

Because you’re discarding DTE, Klinklang will not have the damage reduced. Should be the same thing with Greninja EX Mirage Barrage, I’m pretty sure.
Discard happens after damage, so the damage is still reduced
