Maybe none of the comments in the other video covered it, but I think a big part of the reason this series was so successful is that it was uploaded quickly and back to back. With series like the GTR vs Supra, it could be weeks or months before you see an update. I get that supply issues and parts are hard to come by and builds will always have hiccups, but when you take long breaks people will forget about it or lose interest. You guys had these cars and had most of the parts already bought because you knew you had a $15k limit. Big build series usually seem to have a buy as you go, and in this current climate you can't "overnight parts from Japan" like you could pre covid. Congrats on the popular build series, I hope you guys have learned some things from doing this, and can apply it to future builds.
I agree, but at the same time people who follow on other social media want to see the video as soon as it’s ready so they can take part in the process. It’s great to see comments from the previous video mentioned and addressed in the next one. Some other channels record everything, edit it, then release it all well after the project is complete. They lose out on the expert advise (and heckling) between episodes.
This is honestly my favorite channel to watch, and it’s saddens me to see how much hate you guys get because you really don’t deserve it. Y’all do great work, show so much transparency in your videos, are super informative. In my opinion this is a super underrated channel that deserve much more love. Spread positivity not hate guys it goes a long way
I’ve enjoyed your channel for years at this point and I think this video is a great addition to wrap up a build series. It address some questions that may have not been clear in the videos plus gives you guys the opportunity to push back on some of the more questionable comments. And I like that- makes your channel feel even more “real”. Keep it up guys
I second this - love the channel, love the clarity and push back on questionable comments. Keep doing what you guys do - love the content. I, too, have thousands of miles on track, hundreds and hundreds of laps, multiple seasons on the Mini Cooper rotor brakes on an EK without the rings without issue.
I'm about half way through - here's my take: 90% of comments are positive "good job!" type comments that are nice but really add nothing to the conversation. 5% are haters, and 5% are constructive feedback. The constructive feedback is where the real conversation happens. Don't confuse the feedback with the hater comments even if it seems like a criticism - people are trying to engage with your content. In terms of responding to comments in videos, ignore the hater comments, it just makes it seem like they got in your head. Feedback comments are great to respond to because it can help educate us on why you made xyz decisions. I think my personal choice would be respond to comments in the comments section, the videos responding to comments seem unnecessary and makes it seem like you are defending yourself from haters which is what they want. Anyways, loved this series, keep it up!
The vast majority of “constructive feedback” seem to be forum warriors who’ve probably never held a wrench, but are fine to regurgitate what they’ve read somewhere (right or wrong). However I agree with you, I wouldn’t make a video to respond to any of them.
@@heyhayhay247 I got as far as posting my builds on Facebook and that made me not want to post on TH-cam. According to the internet my car will fall apart and burn on the entrance to turn 1 because I spent only $400 on a helmet and not $2000. Even though all safety parts pass the exact same safety standard and the more expensive are just lighter/more comfortable/more stylish.
I enjoyed this video and really liked the budget aspect of this build series (reminiscent of the BA S2k series.) As for comments, It was interesting to hear your take and how ridiculous some of the keyboard warrior comments were. I would suggest not over thinking about the comments. You guys are putting out extremely good & educational content. The people that actually track cars know, the key board warriors are gonna warrior, and the casual fans are going to learn something if they keep watching(maybe even go to the track.) Cheers!
Nobody on TH-cam does build battles like these guys. Super clean builds, detail info and I love the banter between them. Most TH-camrs do vlog style installs while these guys keep it so simple but yet so enjoyable and relatable to watch.
And at the end, their cars work and complete laps, what a novel idea? When you’re done with the entertainment channels it’s great to come here and take notes on quality parts suppliers and best practices….and if they screw something up, they own up to it in the next episode.
Now that the vtec budget challenge is done, I'd love to see the k20 ek all the way NA built to be a real track monster and challenge Ben's k24 ek from gears and gasoline.
That's a real challenge...Ben built the hell out of that car over a couple years with a ton of r&d and track testing and help from masters of the craft. Not trying to discredit or say it cant be done. Just that it would be difficult and very expensive to challenge Ben's EK.
This is my favorite car channel just because there are no click bait titles! The builds are thoroughly done, track tested, and very informative. Honestly, I'm tired of watching other car channels that do builds purely for the views that lack passion. The way you guys talk about your builds really shows your love for cars.
You guys are absolutely amazing. Your content blows other multi-million subscriber channels out of the water. The Honda battle has been splendid. I enjoyed the timing. Personally I enjoy getting into knowing what worked and what didn't, learning and absorbing information about cars and racing. Which is what you guys constantly do. Keep up the great work!
I was kinda bored today and watched a few hours of youtube and skipped most videos but i found your video interesting and funny and watched it from start to finish .Good kind of video to close a series ,much more entertaining and insightful than those stupid 10 min build videos everyone seems to do now after a build series . Ps: i love your channel guys and don't miss any of your videos ,keep it going !
This series has been fantastic and a absolute joy to watch! Even motivated me to get back to fixing my RX8. I do like this "Series Review" style video. Not only is it funny as hell seeing PT and DP roast comments who don't know what they're talking about but the extra info on some cars like the Type R having a reinforced subframe from factory or recommendations from the comments (like holding the brake pedal down while replacing a length of brake line) is great to know. This is exactly the style of builds I was dreamed of doing when I was 8-10 reading tuner magazines in early/mid 2000s. Keep doing the amazing work you two!!! I can't wait to see the next episode
You guys are honestly in a league of your own making track focused content from EXPERIENCE & are humble enough to admit where your wrong or where you learned something from the community and care enough to make videos like this to make sure the right info is getting out there despite the hater comments you get. Just want to say thank you for all the great content you guys put out! As someone in there mid 30s that has been modding cars since he was 14-15 you guys put out the content i grew up wishing was out there! Again thank you!
This episode is a must to not only address comments and fix misinformation but to keep a communication with our community and keep us in your circle and answer some of our questions since you don’t do alot of live events. Enjoyed this video alot. Keep it coming !
True fan here, have been watching 100% of your videos, the quality of the work and the transparency of admiting your are not specialist and showing it when mistakes are made is definitely, to me, the way to go. fake it till you make it is over. people can smell BS now. all that to say that this, in the same lane, this give us real fan a nice retro action // post mortem on the series, in a transparent manner. keep up the good work. you guys inspire me !
I truly loved this series. One of my fav after the s2000. The type r is such a special car and you built it in a way that most people can relate to. Great work. The balance between build cinematic video and detail was perfect. You both are getting really good with the balance
I like this quite a bit. Y’all do a really good job of explaining your reasoning for why you do things a certain way, whether viewers agree or disagree is up to them. For those of us that watch nearly every if not every episode you kick out, while this type of video isn’t necessary per say, it does give a little behind the scenes idea of a lot of the series. It also helps us get to know you better. I vote, more of these post-series videos
Love the content as always !! Surprised with the negative comments. Quality parts are always the way to go. Never go cheap. I’ve done it and that’s my motto ever since.
Truly brings joy to my heart when you all release a new video. I've been watching for years and to this day you are by far my #1 channel. I watch and re-watch all of your series regularly (can I just say thank you for making playlists of all your builds!) Love the quick builds but really love the longer more in-depth builds like the Lexus vs. BMW Wagon build off or even the ASS/BADASS S2000 build. I would agree that builds that are more relatable/obtainable tend to be more enjoyable. Either way I'll be here consuming and loving your content! Final note, as a father/husband I truly live vicariously through you both and thank you for bringing such joy and entertainment to us all. I know it's easier said than done, but don't let the negativity effect you and just keep doing what you love. Thank you very much for all you two do!
I don't normally comment. I thought the series was great. The budget was realistic for someone who's seriously thinking of building a street legal track day car. I stumbled on your channel as a result of this build off and subscribed immediately.
Thank you for making these videos. It helps me get through tough times. I appreciate your honesty about not being a professional mechanic who just like working on cars. I can relate. Keep up the good work. Thank you
Loved, LOVED the series. It’s nice seeing some legacy Hondas be built to a high grade. Bought my 94 civic hatch when I was 15, still have it 15 years later. Side note to make someone giggle, it’s a sub $2,000 build. $250 for the rolling chassis, got the GS-R for $1000 (it was in a 98 civic that parted out), $500 Tein coilovers, $200 buddy club camber kit, $100 2.5” offbrand catback, $150 PLM long tube tri-Y header, $90 aluminum rad, $100 carbon hood, $200 carbon spoon style spoiler, $200 carbon hatch. $160 for a set of 16x7 wheels that has since been sold off now that I’m going 17x9s. Free ex front knuckle upgrade (from the 98 civic), free rear disc brake conversion from a DA I bought and parted out. And there’s a few other small ends i haven’t mentioned. I bought the 98 civic for $1,000, got $2,000 out of it. Got the DA for $500, got $2,500 out of it.
you guys do a great job! The internet is not always negative! Can't wait for the Skyline GTR Startup and race vs the Supra. My favourite Canadian Channel.
First, thank you so much for the shout out! What a great way to start my Saturday! Even if my comment did not get noticed in this format, I think it was a great way to close out the build series! Address questions and dialog on things that popped up throughout the series! Great call, guys!
These videos are as interesting as your build videos. Negative comments are a reality and compiling them into a wrap-up video gives your channel a chance to hear them and get a chuckle. It's a productive use of material and also a learning tool for others that may not know any better.
I kind of like what you did, here. Responding to comments and giving us, your viewers, more clarity while being as respectful as you always are was a great idea. Love the content, as always.
Hey guys! I’ve been loving your channel for the past couple of years and you have become my favorite automotive channel! I don’t comment often but wanted to let you all know that you are a joy to watch. You build real cars that you actually go and use on the track. You are authentic, knowledgeable, and very relatable. I’m disappointed about some of the negative comments, but I think this format of a series wrap-up is a great way to address both positive and negative feedback with honesty. I know things can get tough, but keep up the good work! You have a a lot of people here who think you both are amazing!
Really enjoyed this build series, makes me want to build another Honda. K swaps are so much easier now compared to when I did my B18c JDM swap on my EG. I love the way B series sound but the K makes so much power and has so much support now days. I may have to try K swap this time...
In general, a heavier oil will provide a stiffer oil film thickness, which means that higher loads would be required for the oil film to collapse. There can be situations where a thicker oil can cause issues but it's more of an edge case usually where the design has a weakness. Honda generally biases towards thinner oils to improve fuel efficiency which is why they recommend that oil. They'll select the oil before they design the box effectively, and the box will go through validation testing with that oil. I imagine the validation test cycle didn't include too much endurance racing which is why they pop.
Too many nay sayers on the TH-cams. At the end of the day they're you're cars, you get to do what you like to them at whatever budget works for you! No viewer is entitled to anything, that's the beauty of being able to watch the ridiculous amount of content TH-cam has, for free. I really enjoyed the series and learnt a lot about Honda's, of which I previously knew nothing. Keep up the awesome work. You're both always so thorough and explain things so well. Love it.
One of my favorite series so far! You guys do a great job, top quality builds and the content is always great! This Discussion/Q/A about the series was also fun to watch. Cant wait for more videos!
In regards to cost: I've always appreciated thsi channel for showing the true cost and work involved in modifying and tuning cars. Many other channels gloss over that, and you still often suggesting "just LS swapping" vehicles because a junkyard LS is $1000. Folks have a hard time grasping that simply making an already track prepped Civic chassis a running driving tunable track car does not take just a few thousand bucks and a weekend. Lots of us still appreciate you guys for what you're trying to do.
Such a great video. There is so much wisdom from older guys from the scene… I love how you highlight how much misinformation is out there and how you had to learn from your mistakes in your past. Learn from others mistakes. Great video, just waiting for more videos on the Jdm legends!!! Go team Supra!!!
Loved this series, makes me miss my B18C swapped EG and EK I had back in the day. Those cars weren’t the fastest things ever but were never boring to drive.
Been a long time viewer I think I started around the days of the Badass2000. Just wanna say the production and quality of your videos has just constantly been improving with each and every single series. Definitely think you guys are the most underrated automotive TH-camrs, I wish you guys nothing but the best.
you guys seriously deserve millions of subscribers, the amount of detail and quality of your videos as well as your builds aren't your average garage youtuber build. even if you guys aren't certified mechanics that doesn't lessen the obvious point that you guys DO know how to build cars properly and reliably. thank you for your videos!
24:11 Spark plugs have a specific torque for a reason. Before you working on your car or someone else's, consider the following example. Some cars that use direct-injection, such as Mercedes-Benz, have specific indexing (through the correct torque and the spark plug's thread length) for spark plugs that ensure proper positioning of the spark plug electrode. Improper spark plug and indexing can cause misfires, fuel-economy loss, catalytic converter premature failure and other internal engine damage -- even melt a piston. I understand these cars are not direct injection, but offer this information to demonstrate the importance of proper installation. Keep up the great content, Speed Academy!
This format of taking on your challengers head on is great. It's nice to revisit your build and explain rational and educate based on your research and experiences. I hope you do this for your future builds. Your videos have helped pass so much time during these last months of my deployment, and pump me up for getting back and working on my vehicles. My wife had some issues with my '05 Wrangler Rubicon Unlimited while I was gone, and I managed to snag a brand new GR86 in July...so I've got plenty of wrenching and upgrading to do when I get back! Thanks for the content and keep up the great work.
I love to see what options you choose for upgrading because you put the cars into real use afterward and you give feedback that is so appealing content and rare
I thought the video length was just right and you covered all the appropriate content. Your right about people underestimating Hondas on track! I use to race my 99 Honda Civic Si and it gave me more confidence than my BMW 335i. Great content and series. Can't wait to see the next one.
I love all your guys content! I actually get excited when TH-cam notifies me that you uploaded a new video. This series was awesome brought back memories of my late teens and early twenties. I was mainly tinkering with DSM's back then, but I've had my fair share of Hondas as well! The people complaining about the build cost are out of touch with the reality of building a car. 15k is actually a pretty impressive number. If you paid a shop to do what you guys did it would cost thousands more! Heck I dropped my Evo off for a performance alignment a couple weeks ago and a quick $240 alignment turned into $700 in just a couple hours due to a couple minor issues they found. Your 15k budget was appropriate and quite a good challenge to try to stay under. Keep up the awesome content. Would love to see some more 4g63 content, but I may be a little biased 🤣.
been watching for a few years and you guys consistently provide top notch content, I like these vids of you talking about the comments. I love that its personal for you guys, it speaks to the passion you both have for building quality cars. Thanks and keep it up!!
Enjoyed the episode more than I thought I would. Saw the 28 minute mark along with it being a Q&A episode and thought it would be too long. In the end it almost felt too short but probably was just right. Thanks.
This is my favorite channel on youtube and this series was amazing. Your videos have helped me build and race my k20 del sol on the track. Keep it up!!
I'm only a couple of minutes into this video and I noticed that you guys are just getting beaten the comments about really negative stuff. So I just wanted to swing in and say my peace. The entire reason I even built my car is because of your track day bill. The first one you had done with the si coupe... I absolutely love your content. Of course I'm a Honda guy she's that's typically what I watch. But here and there I'll pop in and watch other things as well. You guys are doing a great job, and clearly anyone who is bothered by your titles and feel that their clickbait are really not paying attention to what's going on. As as for the ktuned stuff... I put the majority of ktuned stuff on my car when I first started building my car. I've seen a lot of people have issues. And then I've seen some people have zero issues at all. I think sometimes basically in every situation you can't get everything bulletproof. And clearly you guys are using that brand because you have a relationship with them. Glad to see you guys are still doing this stuff. Keep it up, and I look forward to future videos and other Honda content. 🙏
I enjoy this type of content because it mimics what a lot of the amateur community would build in their home garage. I feel it helps a lot to see and learn from your experience and on occasion the comments can reflect constructive criticism, but there are those that lack a positive tone and it must be challenging to let certain things slide as content creators. Concluding a build series with this type of “round table” content is a nice change, and I look forward to more in the future. Great work fellas!
Longtime viewer and supporter - I love the content you guys produce. You are living my dream. So informative, and always evolving. Keep up the amazing work and leave the internet trolls behind. You don't have to justify any of your choices to us. Most of us enjoy all the effort poured into these creative builds. Keep it going gentlemen - Cheers!
Been following speedacademy the las 3 or 4 years. Along with M539 restorations, best youtube channels I’ve get to know. I wouldnt miss a single episode. You are great, keep it going! Greetings from south america!
I love watching you guys talk about cars. Feels so authentic and knowledgeable. I’ve learnt so much about car histories, brands and mechanical tips through the years. Awesome man!
No complaints from me.. Enjoyed everything. I prefer Honda content over anything else, which is what brought me to this channel in the first place. Keep up the good work!!!
Guys I really enjoy your presentation styles and your content. I think the post build review is a great addition…it allows you to high lights questions/input received during the build series and gives you a chance to clarify things if/as needed. Looking forward to the next video on the R.
Thanks for providing insight into the builds! Love this bonus episode. You always get the crazy comments, they give free entertainment! I think we all owe you guys some beer money for being awesome!!
Living the TH-cam life mustn't be easy for you guys. Over the years there's always been a small but steady stream of those triggering-type comments. It seems like just under the surface they are eating at you (a bit more so it seems for PT). It's understandable, but if you read this comment I hope you feel encouraged that a vast majority of folks like me regularly watch your videos and love the hard work you're put into each piece of your content. You guys are masters of your trade. It's would be easy to let the few negative comments drown out the overwhelmingly positive. Choose the high-road, choose to be classy, and focus on what you do best. You guys are awesome, passionate, and relatable! Keep up the great work and with it will come continued growth and success!
I’m fairly new to the channel but you guys seem like true enthusiasts who have a wealth of knowledge. I’d love to spend a day wrenching in your garage!
Hey Guys, I can't say I agree with all of your channel/business model decisions, however well done on this series. I really appreciate that you didn't sugar coat the numbers. I have a kswap Integra and it does indeed cost this much to build these cars. Yes you can go cheaper but to have something nice, you weigh your options and purchase accordingly. As someone that did go cheap on many parts in my build at the beginning, I have often had to redo various things because I used cheap parts the first go around which made it cost more. I have had my k swap car for about 7 years now and because I opted for nicer parts in the long run, the car performs well event now. Lot of respect for posting the real numbers.
Fun video and cracked me up when you could feel the real frustration leaking out but you guys did a great job reeling it back in. Great channel with great content, keep it up gents.
Its not just the cars or the builds: your both great hosts and represent well, and positively, the tuner car culture that we all love. Keep it up boys and I'll try to get my 02 ep3 JRSC k24a2 to the TO track to beat your times next summer! Cheers and keep it up!
You guys are very transparent and I literally love watch your videos. Don’t know why the hate but that’s the internet. Can’t wait for the next series of videos
You tube stopped sending me SA notifications over a year ago. I searched you guys up and after this series I’m wondering why I’m not watching your episodes the second they drop. Thanks for what you do for the car community!
I think the wrap-up videos are a great idea. Admittedly, I might not watch all of every single one if the build(s) didn't appeal to me as much, but especially when things stretch across a lot of episodes it's nice to look at the project as a whole. I'll try to comment on the videos a bit more as well, not that i'll have much to say, but hopefully it'll help push the almighty algo to keep giving you guys the placement you deserve! Hope that one day you guys can hit 1M subscribers! Cheers
Who'd have thought it, guys that built and raced cars for decades know more than people that read facebook forums! Well done on the series and the round up at the end, i used to have a DC2 and i really wish i'd never sold it!
This was a fun wrap to the series and I’m glad you made it. You made a good point about how people don’t always leave a positive comment, but people will more likely leave a negative one. It’s sad that that is the case, but hopefully you guys know people love your channel and content because you’ve gotta a pretty big following. Keep up the great work and I look forward to the next build and hopefully that EVO comes back one day.
Thanks for making the video. I wasn't trying to sound harsh about my suggestion of sand blasting the valve cover. You guys create great content! If chemical stripping works well for you, go for it! I've just seen many YT car influencers use a blast tank and have good results. But, media has also blown up motors before due to improper cleaning post sand blasting. So, to your point, I agree and understand!
thank you for making this video. i want to first point out i do not comment very much on your videos but this was a good one to watch, as are all your other videos. it was good entertainment about how you guys know your stuff on these cars and shutting down the clowns. keep up the good work, this video was good length, good explanations, good fun. cant wait for the next one
Glad you took the opportunity to educate people with this video. Unfortunately, I think people are gonna purposely make really outrageous comments now, in hopes of being spotlighted in your future videos. Regarding your 75W90 fill for MTF...Honda MTF is ~75W85 in terms of gear oil viscosity. So its not like the GL5 75W90 you're using is really appreciably thicker than Honda MTF.... The problem is that you're using GL5 fluid, which is meant specifically for hypoid diffs. Not all GL5 oils are safe for use with brass synchronizers. So be mindful of that. GL4 is what you want to use in a synchronized trans. If 75W90 GL5 worked in the trans, Honda (and other OEM's) would have just used it in the trans instead of developing a trans fluid.
There's just so much that makes this channel the best on TH-cam. The chemistry between these two is 🔥. So well spoken and intelligent . They know what us motorheads want to see. I wish you guys much continued success 👏🤘
Been watching since day 1, and this has been my favourite channel. I loved this series as it felt like a return to form with the build episodes leading to track video. It had a pay off. Great work guys! Keep it up!
Really enjoyed this series. The quicker pace of the builds was a nice benefit but I've been watching you guys from the unconditioned "chicken coup" days so doesn't matter to me. Appreciate the explanations on some of the technical concerns by other commenters. I too wondered about the Hondata IM gasket, only because KPower Industries advises to only run the factory metal gaskets due to vibrations possibly snapping mounting bolts (long-time Miata owner here, limited Honda experience).
I'm avid follower of your channel. This episode was great as to show to your audience that you actually reads the comments and take the valid advice serious also. Great job, keep up the great work. Just remember, to appreciate the good you have to have some bad comments. 🤘👍
I enjoyed this review format as it was educational to hear your thoughts regarding some of the positive and negative comments on the builds. Entertaining as always. I hope you guys continue making detailed build series with relatively attainable cars. Also, props for not being too defensive with your decision making and acknowledging good suggestions from the community. Keep up the great work guys and I look forward to your future content.
Yes, liked this video! The way you guys respond to some of the comments gives me the feeling that you actually care about your viewers and their opinions. Can’t wait for the next episode about the type T though…
thank you so much for all of the hard work you guys have put in offer the years. I REALLY like the personal format to close up each build series and would like for it to continue. cheers to you both and to many more great videos into the future.
As a Speed Academy fan boy, I like all of your content and am happy to have an episode like this one. You're both entertaining hosts, and it doesn't seem like you're waffling on, so a roundup episode at the end of a build series seems like a good bookend. I look forward to your continued entertaining content, especially more track stuff ripping some Tec!

Y’all do great work, show so much transparency in your videos, are super informative. In my opinion this is a super underrated channel that deserve much more love. Spread positivity not hate guys it goes a long way
Hate? Not much hate, just not as much love as they deserve :)
Amen.
I dont see hate honestly

The constructive feedback is where the real conversation happens. Don't confuse the feedback with the hater comments even if it seems like a criticism - people are trying to engage with your content. The vast majority of “constructive feedback” seem to be forum warriors who’ve probably never held a wrench, but are fine to regurgitate what they’ve read somewhere (right or wrong). However I agree with you, I wouldn’t make a video to respond to any of them.
@@all-flat-engines Bingo, and bingo
As someone who has a much smaller channel with about 5,000 subscribers, the number of genuinely constructive comments are SO rare.

Oh yeah
Ben's k24 is like a purpose built race car lol
This is my favorite car channel just because there are no click bait titles! The builds are thoroughly done, track tested, and very informative.
Honestly, I'm tired of watching other car channels that do builds purely for the views that lack passion. The way you guys talk about your builds really shows your love for cars.
Hey Guys! love this series! I would love to see a Re-edit of All the episodes together from start to finish.
Been watching you guys for years now, definitely one of my favorite channels
Great stuff guys can’t believe the people that say stuff on here keep putting out the great videos
"Sooor-ry!" Loved this series. You can't go wrong with DP and PT with Hondas! Keep bangin, broskis.
You guys are my favorite channel, regardless of the “know it all” followers they ll keep watching.
Thanks for your work!
Thank you
I throughly enjoyed watching this series! Really need to start working on my Integra GSR again. These videos are motivating! 👍🏼
Love it.
This series was the best I’ve seen in a long time from ANY channel. Love the old Honda content. Great work!
I personally like the follow up and responding to comments. Y’all just are genuine folks and enjoy all the content you’ve been posting.
I appreciate your channel !
You guys are great. I appreciate the occasional “sit down and listen” video. You two have decades of motorsport experience and it shows.
Enjoyed the Honda series pacing as well as the more attainable budget. Keep up the good work guys!
Great video addressing the comments. You guys are definitely one of the better car channels on youtube!
I think you guys nailed the format with this series. Nothing but praise and looking forward to future build-offs!
Thanks.
I enjoyed listening to your feedback from the comments. Great channel and great build series from a Honda guy from way back
This is my favorite channel on youtube and this series was amazing.
I love that you put some of the stupid and ill informed negative comments on blast. You guys do great work. Keep it up!
No complaints from me.. Enjoyed everything. I prefer Honda content over anything else, which is what brought me to this channel in the first place. Keep up the good work!!!
I hate seeing comments that are out to lunch so this is a perfect way to address the people, and to educate which is valuable knowledge.
Guys I really enjoy your presentation styles and your content. I think the post build review is a great addition…it allows you to high lights questions/input received during the build series and gives you a chance to clarify things if/as needed. Looking forward to the next video on the R.
This series was exceptional.
These two cars were what got me into Japanese cars in the 90's. Thanks for all of your hard work fellas.
I liked the recap episode at the end of the series. I think you two are doing the best high quality work out there, keep up the good work.
Have been watching you boys for years. Top quality across the board. Keep up the great work and great builds!
Keep doing what you guys love to do I have a d16z6 sohc VTEC fully built my 12 5 to 1 am running a 100 octane and I have learn a lot watching
Great episode, can’t wait to see more of the Type R. However, i am super stoked to see the 2j vs RB!
Great video ! I like that you took the time to address comments/question. Definitely worth doing again !
If 75W90 GL5 worked in the trans, Honda (and other OEM's) would have just used it in the trans instead of developing a trans fluid.
enjoyed a lot the restoration of the ITR and the Kswap build. Can’t wait for more videos like this series
There's just so much that makes this channel the best on TH-cam. The chemistry between these two is 🔥. So well spoken and intelligent . They know what us motorheads want to see. I wish you guys much continued success 👏🤘
I think this was the best series yet. Great pacing and I watched them all.
I love these break down vids, Its usually a good recap for some episodes I missed. Also the catchup on comment drama is always fun.
Thank you guys! The authenticity was refreshing. Keep up the good work!!!!
Your guys communication is beyond impressive!
thank you so much for all of the hard work you guys have put in offer the years. I REALLY like the personal format to close up each build series and would like for it to continue. cheers to you both and to many more great videos into the future.
loved this video. explained a lot of things many people may have been wondering. i could listen to hours of this type of content
This type of follow up vid after a build series is great! Definitely continue stuff like this.
