I bought similar car for similar money ten years ago :) Mine has/had poorly repaired similar damage all over passenger side. But she is mechanically sound and I enjoy every drive.
If You run out of build series ideas, do FWD vs RWD series -> build two identical K20 (I can't imagine better engine for this cause) and put them in good FWD and RWD chassis, and then test how much RWD is better really.

Why is this released so late? The prices before covid were running at least half of what they are now normally.

It's amazing that you got a JDM icon. I like all your builds and the way you talk with your owners when building the cars for them and following their aim for their cars and upgrading them yet keeping it very streetable and talking about the parts you use for the builds and what they do it's very informative. Definitely appreciate the links the parts used. Don't worry about the number of subscribers. Slow and steady wins the race. Look at Vtuned Garage, Goonzquad, Gears and Gasoline and Chrisfix. These channels just started from regular people with knowledge and growing skills. But now, these channels have grown into one of the most famous automotive channels. Speed Academy your 1 million subscriber plaque is on the horizon. Just keep going and do more builds.
Maybe you could build a Honda S2000, Mitsubishi 3000gt Vr4, Nissan GTR, K24 swap a Del sol or civic for people.
Also do a video on how to mod and prepare your car for the track and prevent engine damage like oil starvation, improve braking by installing stainless steel lines and stuff like that. Maybe do a rear drum to disc conversion videos for civic owners that would help tremendously.
Keep up the awesome work and content you're already there 👍.

The “bug eye” style integrals were always my favourite, a friend of mine had a 4 door in high school. It’s funny you say start hoarding because I have a 2000 civic that I need to put back on the road, it has most of the parts from a rotten Em1 I bought for $400

In my opinion, any cost that don't improve performance shouldn't be included in the budget like this repair and paint job. That 15K should be focused on performance parts only + the car.

But a non crashed ITR would have cost a lot more.

$3500 is a steal for this Integra Type-R. Even tho it's not the Rare USDM Championship White 97-98 Dc2 ITR it's still a great deal!. No matter the body damage which isn't even bad at all, It could easily be repaired, The overall condition of the vehicle isn't bad either. It's deff fixable, It's got potential. 💯

Could have used any 94-01 Integra fender, 2 door or 4 door they were all exactly the same besides paint color. A used OEM non-R fender would likely fit better than new aftermarket.

The body and paint work came out beautifully!
I'm surprised you didn't go for the facelifted 8th-gen Honda Civic EX (EX-L?) parked next to the Acura instead. Can't beat that 140hp R18. ;)
Jokes aside, I love your videos! Thanks.
