Plastic 4 Performance is hands down the best poly window company I have dealt with. The curvatures in the windows are always spot on making installation pretty much the same as OE glasses. The built in black borders make them look OE as well from a distance. And if you get the windshield, they even add the little window so you can still see the VIN number from outside. Great company.
Man, that honey seal looks amazing. I'm glad you covered up the freshly blasted areas and didn't leave them rot. I like the factory yellow hue to the product
I'm so glad you're modifying this in a very reversible manner so far. Having owned a 2000 ITR, which was stolen, I definitely appreciate the respect you're giving this masterpeice of Honda engineering.
Glad you wax treat the underneath… its great stuff used by many german oem’s and works. Most TH-camrs do the dry ice clean and leave it… a would end bad in months. Awesome guys.
Why not install a harness bar behind the seats? I always thought it was extremely dangerous to have the anchor points for your shoulder harnesses lower than your shoulders.
You're right!!! Which boggles me why reputable companies sell these specifically to be mounted this way. Personally i wouldn't have a 4 point but that's my opinion!
This is completely fine to run as a 4 point DOT setup (harness needs the break away point). Is it safer to run a harness bar yes but this is still an acceptable way to do it
Such an amazing build, and I really like the fact that you support local businesses by talking to them and providing their contacts and pricing. Keep supporting local, love the content guys!
Man I love love LOVE! The videos that you guys post. Dry ice blasting is amazing ( the transformation ) I look forwards to all the videos on the weekend and anything extra on the weekdays is always nice. Thanks for all you do.
I lost it on the 3rd hat... Perfect. I know this TH-cam thing can be tiring, but your content is only improving, and it is great to see some childish merriment in your videos.
Wow, this was one of your best episodes ever. OCD fully satisfied. Livery looks really awesome too. Looking forward to seeing some track action at Lime Rock!
I’ve been lately consuming your videos, tbh I’m a Honda fanatic so I only watch most your Honda builds but still have to comment, the quality and attention to detail and professionalism are very strong with you! Please continue the hard work and thank you
This was the best exterior and underneath protection car video i ever seen! Great job with interior upgrades too! Integra is ready to hit the track with this bad ass Valvoline stickers more then ever! Keep doing the awesome job!
The integra is probably my favorite car of all time. You can have Ferraris, Lambo’s or whatever; but just give me an Integra and I’ll be more than happy.
The valvoline plug and merch skit is hilarious AF Looks like a month of clips / upgrades in one video This video should take you to a million subscribers!!
You guys are awesome with everything you do. High quality and care. Love the ice blast and honey seal from your local business. I always share your videos to all my friends.
We installed it in the approved method which meets DOT specifications for fully legal street use, as explained in Takata/Schroth's installation manual. All strap angles are well within the specified ranges. Thanks for the concern, though! Safety is definitely not something to be taken lightly.
I must say, the Valvoline livery on your Integra is WAY better than the Valvoline livery on either of the Gears&Gasoline boys' cars! Ha! Can't wait for some collaborations between you two and the two Bens! Valvoline Grid Life Boys!!
Love to see that I’m not the only one who buys spare parts to modify while tucking away the original parts for safe keeping. Done it for years for audio equipment so I can easily reverse the changes I made.
I'm definitely awaiting your feedback on how those polycarbonate windows hold up. They're super inexpensive. Hopefully they'll prove to be suitable replacement for hard to find broken glass, that doesn't break the bank.
Very cool! You guys took the suggestion (commented the response that I'd like to see you guys do a full track prep to reach full potential of the car in the track comp vid) and actually did it!!!
Yooo, I really appreciate the shout out but just want to give credit where credit is due - we had talked about the wing but I think Streeter ended up helping with it. I know you guys have a constant flow of parts arriving to keep the builds moving so hard to fault the mix up! That said, GOOD GRIEF! You guys delivered a FULL build series in one episode! Holy moly. The pace on these builds has been really impressive! I know you guys had a deadline but the parts don't install themselves and same with the editing. I'm okay with a slower pace - somewhere between this and the BNR34. 😂😅 I'm going to have to rewatch and take notes for mine but there are so many great parts featured in this one. Loved the poly windows and I've been team Voltex for GT wing style on DC2's but that J's wing looks proper! And I was eyeing the Koyorad - great to see it in action. Also, dry ice blasting is amazing! Great episode - looking forward to the track report!
Really enjoyed watching this episode. The Valvoline 90’s style stickers look awesome, I was affraid it would ruin the car but it actually looks very nice. The part about the dry-icing and the honeylike protection was very satisfying, and the guy explaining it seems very friendly/humble and passionate about what they do, loved it🤟🏻
I would love to see a turbo k20 dc2, maybe it could be a track car for gridlife events in the future. Artec has a pretty sweet manifold out now too....
I am new to this channel and wow is it amazing!!! Love you guys. I’m shocked at the sub count, the TH-cam’s need to do better. I’ve been watching old vids and would love if you did a 996 canyon/track build!! I’m a little biased but I think that be awesome!!
Some quick advice. One thing I do with my coolant air lift is that as im pulling vacuum i crack the feed line valve to prime the line. That way you dont put air in the system from the air that is in the hose prior to the coolant.
Please keep this amazing Honda content coming. This is my Saturday morning thing now lol. I recently picked up a dc2 gsr so now I have something to be inspired by. Keep up the great work guys!
@speed academy heads up BC seat rails are known to cracking at the weld spots. Recommend getting it beefed weld up. I had to do it to mine and many others.
Guys, I truly love your content, I look forward to the weekend mornings to watch your videos, you have been building some of my dream cars lately. You should build another S2000! I would love to see what you come up with. Thanks for your efforts!
God damn there are some smart people out there to think of using dry ice as a blasting medium... Its so perfect... Its ice so its abrasive, its ice so you load and transfer it like a regular abrasive, and its DRY ice so sublimates and leaves absolutely nothing behind!!! Brilliant!
love the series and the car. hope you guys consider using a roll bar/ cage and mount the harness to that rather than the floor in the back. stay safe guys
Happy to see someone reapplying the OEM style paraffin film after dry ice blasting. I worry a bunch of this stuff that is being blasted now will have oxidation issues in the future because very few are reapplying.
Someone might of already pointed it out but it might be worth checking the angle of the harnesses as it looks like they might be at too steep of an angle which could potentially result in compression of the spine in an accident. I think from memory they shouldn't be at a great angle of 45 degrees. Need to be at more of a horizontal level from the shoulders, there are a number of diagrams online, think it was FIA approved. Love the channel lads always look forward to new videos. "FIA states shoulder harnesses must sit in range of 10 degrees above horizontal to 45 degrees below - Willans says horizontal to 20 degrees below"
Glad to see that you went to the effort of making the major changes reversible. Love the way this car is progressing. Was the comment about a turbo K-series Integra a joke? If not I'll have popcorn ready.
On 90's early 2000's cars high zinc oils and even diesel oils aren't too far off what they had standard back then. We just got stricter emissions standards, thats all. If you look at blackstone sheets of current CJ-4/CK-4, or even valvoline high zinc compared to just a normal off the shelf oil in the 90's the zinc levels are very similar.
Man you guys really buttoned up this build nicely. You always seem to have some of the cleanest builds on TH-cam.
Great company.
that dry ice blast turned out really really good. wooow
Man, that honey seal looks amazing. I'm glad you covered up the freshly blasted areas and didn't leave them rot. I like the factory yellow hue to the product

Why not install a harness bar behind the seats? I always thought it was extremely dangerous to have the anchor points for your shoulder harnesses lower than your shoulders.
You’re correct. If you get in an accident and the anchor points are at an extreme angle like that, you’ll have spinal cord compression.
Actually at certain track events they wont allow you to run that setup unless you have a roll bar
You're right!!! Which boggles me why reputable companies sell these specifically to be mounted this way. Personally i wouldn't have a 4 point but that's my opinion!
This is completely fine to run as a 4 point DOT setup (harness needs the break away point). Is it safer to run a harness bar yes but this is still an acceptable way to do it
I have a Schroth “ASM” harness and it’s completely safe. Needs that breakaway point
Seriously, your guy’s content is always the best. Quality builds and always educating us/ giving us ideas for how to proceed with builds of our own.
Such an amazing build, and I really like the fact that you support local businesses by talking to them and providing their contacts and pricing. Keep supporting local, love the content guys!
Thanks so much for having us over to do the PPF on Dave’s ITR! Always enjoy working with you guys! Can’t wait for the next video
That's a great looking livery. Digging the update for the Type R.
It's wonderful to watch a factory track car from the '90's get updated to compete in today's world - great work guys
Man I love love LOVE! The videos that you guys post. Dry ice blasting is amazing ( the transformation ) I look forwards to all the videos on the weekend and anything extra on the weekdays is always nice. Thanks for all you do.
Saturday garage vibes. Stoped working on my car to watch you guys wrench on yours.
That livery is awesome. No budget really made this build special
As a Canadian and fellow (97) ITR owner I’m stoked on this content! ❤️🔥🔥
Seeing J's get some love makes me happy. They don't always build the fastest Hondas, but they always build the coolest ones
I’ve been lately consuming your videos, tbh I’m a Honda fanatic so I only watch most your Honda builds but still have to comment, the quality and attention to detail and professionalism are very strong with you! Please continue the hard work and thank you
The Honda builds hurt my soul. I miss mine more with each episode you release!
The Valvoline livery came out super nice 👍 you are killing it with this dc2r build series
Awesome Livery - I love how simplistic it is, but it fits so well and doesn't look too under or overwhelming.
Camping this weekend with the family, but had to take some time to start watching this! Love the direction of the car!
You guys knocked it out of the park with this video. That livery is awesome too.
This was the best exterior and underneath protection car video i ever seen! Great job with interior upgrades too! Integra is ready to hit the track with this bad ass Valvoline stickers more then ever! Keep doing the awesome job!
Omg. What a throwback to the FRS. That's when I started watching and haven't stopped since. Keep it up guys.
I’m very impressed with the dry ice blasting, what a great job
The integra is probably my favorite car of all time. You can have Ferraris, Lambo’s or whatever; but just give me an Integra and I’ll be more than happy.
The valvoline plug and merch skit is hilarious AF
Looks like a month of clips / upgrades in one video
This video should take you to a million subscribers!!
Fun factor just shot up a couple tons! Great work and she looks amazing! Can’t wait to see how it performs on the track!
You guys are awesome with everything you do. High quality and care. Love the ice blast and honey seal from your local business. I always share your videos to all my friends.
Loved the valvoline merch skit with the oil. Congrats on the subs blowin up, glad you guys never caved to trends and stuck with quality content
The ppf looks fantastic. Great to see the next phase in this build, and that you are doing track time with it.
Glad you like it!
Never heard of the dry ice blasting until this video. Absolutely amazing it can be used on every surface 😮😮😮
C17 media knocked it out of the park, I think the livery is incredible.
The whole build wrapped up really well, nice finishing touches all around
Wow, this has to be one of my favorite videos in this series! From the dry ice blasting to the other upgrades. Job well done!
I love the full commitment on the Merch suit-up for the advertising!😂
Awesome series guys keep up the good work!!!
Hahahaha LOL agreed. That was some classic DP trolling done right, especially after the 4:15 mark with the coffee cup, then three hats stacked 😂
Hope you guys continue taking care of it, those DC2's are a real gem, especially if it's a clean R!
This episode was so satisfying. Thank you DP for using the car for what’s it’s meant to do, ripping tec!!!
That car is such a great looking car. I like the design choice for the livery.
love the teggy build, but i am a little worried as those shoulder belts look a little steep. safety first!
We installed it in the approved method which meets DOT specifications for fully legal street use, as explained in Takata/Schroth's installation manual. All strap angles are well within the specified ranges. Thanks for the concern, though! Safety is definitely not something to be taken lightly.
Terrific content as usual boys. Always click on your videos as soon as they pop up. Keep it up
I must say, the Valvoline livery on your Integra is WAY better than the Valvoline livery on either of the Gears&Gasoline boys' cars! Ha! Can't wait for some collaborations between you two and the two Bens! Valvoline Grid Life Boys!!
One of the more OCD satisfying episodes you've made! Nice stuff guys!

Awesome chapter guys. Love the length and the amount of win in it. Good luck on the track!!
Really enjoyed watching this episode. The Valvoline 90’s style stickers look awesome, I was affraid it would ruin the car but it actually looks very nice.
The part about the dry-icing and the honeylike protection was very satisfying, and the guy explaining it seems very friendly/humble and passionate about what they do, loved it🤟🏻
@Ted Cantlon I would definately do that, if I were in your area. But I live in the Netherlands, so that’s a bit too far😉
I would love to see a turbo k20 dc2, maybe it could be a track car for gridlife events in the future. Artec has a pretty sweet manifold out now too....
Loved the way you introduce the oil type to the viewers👌👌
You guys building an Integra has made me realize I always wanted one of these
Fire livery and super cool seeing it get ice blasted and sealed. Looking forward to how it does at Gridlife!
I am new to this channel and wow is it amazing!!! Love you guys. I’m shocked at the sub count, the TH-cam’s need to do better.
I’ve been watching old vids and would love if you did a 996 canyon/track build!! I’m a little biased but I think that be awesome!!
Love how this build has turned out! Really making me consider getting rid of my Rsx and go to an integra rs haha
Dude that dry ice blasting is awesome
Okay the multiple Valvoline hats was freaking hilarious!
Some quick advice. One thing I do with my coolant air lift is that as im pulling vacuum i crack the feed line valve to prime the line. That way you dont put air in the system from the air that is in the hose prior to the coolant.
We prefill it with water before hooking it up, its clear obviously so you cant see that its filled.
I’m glad you guys made it to gridlife with the gears and gasoline and Dustin Williams I watched it live
Ohhh nice! I installed a Mugen oil pan on my Integra GSR. Now I just need to take it to the track!
Please keep this amazing Honda content coming. This is my Saturday morning thing now lol. I recently picked up a dc2 gsr so now I have something to be inspired by. Keep up the great work guys!
Overnight parts from Japan!!!
@speed academy heads up BC seat rails are known to cracking at the weld spots. Recommend getting it beefed weld up. I had to do it to mine and many others.
Going to have to get some of that POR-15 caliper paint! I used VHT on some brake drums and the rust came through in no time.
3:35 I have a hunch but I think the oil is *Honda OEM Mystery Oil*
Favorite TH-cam channel for now. Thanks guys.
How about that base map you guys tried at the dyno? Would be great to free up a little more power now there's no budget to worry about.
Freaking awesome work! Great job guys! 👏🏻👏🏻
Guys, I truly love your content, I look forward to the weekend mornings to watch your videos, you have been building some of my dream cars lately. You should build another S2000! I would love to see what you come up with. Thanks for your efforts!
TRULLY the best builds! Man-0-man!!
Great selection on the music at the start of this episode! Really liked the first track. More soundscape and less Marshmellow
Boy this integra build is getting serious! Cant wait for you guys to be in gridlife!
Man what a Greta episode. Love the build music and all. Got me super hyped to see it go from one stage to another already. Keep it up guys.
This was the most satisfying episode ever. Great job guys
Great work guys and the Valvoline livery looks awesome!
Very rare for a 90's honda/acura to be free of rust like this integra!
How is this channel not blowing up, nice work!
Thank you Gents.
Lots of progress was done in this episode! 🔥 this integra turns out sooooo good !
Such a beautiful car. Nothing like that goldenera type r.
I feel like I'm too young to appreciate this build even though I feel old AF but this is awesome.
You still need to open the bleeder on coolant line to prevent bubble forming at the heater core
The livery is SICK!!!
True car enthusiast appreciate you guys.
Greetings from Greece. Unbelievable video. One of the best i see in your channel!! Keep up the good work!!
You're missing the chrome ITR oil cap for the rocker cover
The pack and battery with antenna looks like a tracker to me. 👍
Happy to see someone reapplying the OEM style paraffin film after dry ice blasting. I worry a bunch of this stuff that is being blasted now will have oxidation issues in the future because very few are reapplying.

"FIA states shoulder harnesses must sit in range of 10 degrees above horizontal to 45 degrees below

Crazy how you guys were able to transform this car!
Holy crap, Norm killed it!
Awesome! This was the perfect way to start my morning on fathers day 😁
Sponsors dream at 4:30. Love it.
Glad to see that you went to the effort of making the major changes reversible. Love the way this car is progressing. Was the comment about a turbo K-series Integra a joke? If not I'll have popcorn ready.
Thanks for sharing info on the Plastics 4 Performance business!
Love the quality content you's are pumpin out on these Honda's, and the attention to detail 😁
