    I love cars, but I don't know much about mechanics, parts, engines or stuff like that. I'll probably never do any of those things they do on this channel... I'm really just an amateur, but man I absolutely love this channel and these mechanics videos, the quality is just off this planet! Unlike a lot of other channels who keeps it really hyped up and almost childish, more vlog style, there's so much professionalism and a peaceful aspect to it. We can actually see how much they work on the car inside and out. Doesn't matter if it's the Civic, Forester, Evo or Miata, I enjoy every seconds of it! The detailing ones and roadtrips are amazing as well... Keep up the great works guys! I wish you tons of subscribers!

    I have a K20/K24 Frankenstein engine that I bought with a 06 SI and boy let me tell you! I love my baby! Had an issue with finding the water pump replacement as it’s a JDM so the American pieces weren’t fitting so I brought it to a Acura/Honda guy that builds race cars and he changed the housing to an American Accord and it works perfectly. Everyone who gets behind my car says it’s fun and fast though it’s not as fast as my racing team who have B engines and turbos. Much cheaper

      PremierPerformance but if it was all about price then, wouldn’t an LS1 swap be a better and cheaper alternative? Plus you wouldn’t need any RWD conversion kits.

      K series engines can make a bit more torque. Peak power is similar. K engines are a fraction of the price with a lot more support as they were offered in MANY other cars. We didn’t just swap K’s into S2000’s for fun. We did our homework.

    • @Hartbreak1
      @Hartbreak1 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      andysmede that makes sense. I’ve seen some crazy S2000 engine builds so I was wondering what reason other than price was really at play there. If you can get better power out of a K with the same parts for cheaper then that really makes it the better option.

    Very nice attention to detail, I like how you cleaned the entire engine bay and painted it. Also agree with the cams, I've been out of the Honda business for 15 years, but power under the curve is always more useful.

    Another thing about the more aggressive cams is they’re harder on timing chain and tensioner. You made a good choice going with the less aggressive cams. We lost lots of engines running the big cam from timing chain/tensioner failures.
