    Thanks Lee, as a 70 year old qigong teacher, who's been practicing for a very long time, I love the attention that you bring to the art and the way you are able to make it available to people who wouldn't have ever thought of doing qigong. This is especially true for seniors who really need to connect with their bodies. They still make up a small percentage of my over all students but they have been increasing lately. This practice has brought me back from a major motorcycle accident a few years ago, and the depth and breadth of it from merely healing our bodies to healing our emotions and spirit. Your visibility has generated larger classes and more interest for all of us.

      I'm 64 and due Covid_19 have been stuck & starving this entire year. long story. lost weight and all muscle 115kg down to 62kg. just loose skin and bones now. immune system hammered . how do i rebuild /feed my body to get back my strength etc?

    • @danceofthedragonbydavidlee
      @danceofthedragonbydavidlee 4 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      @@petermathewvanaardt74 sounds like you are going through a lot and probably Holden Qigong will reply to this as well, but I have been in similar circumstances when I came down with Hepatitis A in Thailand a few years ago (I was 67) and couldn't shake it for almost 6 months before my eyes went back to normal. During this period I was technically homeless in Asia and could not return to the US, as I had no place to go and certainly no one anywhere to take care of me. I had to relax and acknowledge that I might die and have that be okay. I could not will myself to be well and I was quite weak and down to around 52 Kilos. I struggled to buy food and feed myself. I slept as much as I could and tried to meditate. I had to walk to the village to buy food and find a way to cook it. Gradually I got stronger and I didn't freak out. The physical problems are real, the mental and emotional suffering, we can learn to overcome. Being stuck and locked down, is something you have to deal with and it's best to accept it. It's important to find a way to relax in your situation. Gradually you can get stronger again. It took me about a year to feel normal again, and another 6 months to get my vitality back. These exercises, if you can do them, are a start. I also offer some on my channel but they may be a bit more technical in their approach to the internal arts, Obviously I don't know the full story. If you don't have enough money to eat, I don't really know what your options are, but if I can survive my ordeal, I have confidence that you can survive yours, if you don't underestimate your capacity. Good Luck brother.

    I am 64 and have been doing your Qi Gong challenge now for 4 months and a 1000% renewal and overall rejuvenation. Wish I did this in my younger years the aches and pains would not be so bad. Haha. By doing QI Gong and now Yoga for men I am feeling full of life and not tired as often. I still have my lawn service business as of 20 years and hand milk my goats daily, check in on my 96 year old mom and my horse has even noticed the change. THANKS Lee

    I am very new to this Qui Gong. I am disable and unable to stand up without support for longer than a minute as I am bent from my hips and have extensive metal work in my spine. I am using the modification and doing these exercises sitting down. I have only tried for 2 days. I am going to try practicing it daily and see if it helps me in any way. Thanks. I'm not that old...47, but I have health issues, and prefer/need gentle exercise most the time.
    This felt good...I can definately sense that it's so good for my health...and blood circulation improved..feel bit more alive.
    I've rarely practiced qi-gong...but every time I do, it's a bit of a revelation...how much better I feel...and the exercises feel so natural to me...like a duck to water..😁. I shall do it more regularly now.
    Blessings.
    (ps; I do wish the videos would be a bit more 'up-close' tho,..so that I don't need to be so near the mobile phone,.. To avoid radiation.
