Try the flex chassis with the flared traction magnets if legal. Also sand the shoes flat with a very smooth sand paper and oil. But bend the front of the shoes to a tighter angle. I also find lower spring pressure helps in tight turns.

Thanks for the feedback.
After building a chassis, the first thing I do is do a test lap or 2, then check the pick up shoe wear pattern, adjusting as necessary for even wear on the full shoe.
As for chassis and magnets, we run all standard parts, and just tweak what's there for best performance.
