Thanks for the positive feedback. I've owned HO slots since the 80's, but only started taking them seriously in 2016. They never seem to gain any support for racing in Australia. I will admit that I was also one to view them as the toy scale. I'm an ex 1:24 racer, and I've taken on HO with the aim to extract a 1:24 style type experience out of it. With an experimental way of looking at it, and willingness to give things a bit of a go, I can confidently say, I wish I'd have given them a go back in 2000 when my local 1:24 track burnt down.

@@SlotCraftMaster what I don't like about out if the box racing is, if your car is slow, than you aren't competitive. Be aware, the Mega G+ is the least consistent slot car out of the box I've seen in HO. Motors are inconsistent, as well as magnet levels. Bulldogs and TFX are where it's at for more consistency, but as always, there's differences in performance levels out of the packet. I share tuning tips, because I want competition, and by my experience, secrets kill racing. What I've foind, is once I build cars up, the performance gaps car to car, are much narrower than out of the packet. Also, I'd rather help others build faster cars, than make mine slower just to be competitive.
Thanks for the feedback. We've had some great racers over the years. But as people move on, it's always a hunt for new drivers. A fresh development is the #mvtac competition, trying to encourage more to race regardless of location first month had 9 entrants. Plenty more building tracks currently. A first time driver has posted a blistering time for an unsecured track, the competition should be interesting this month.
If only there were more racing groups sprinkled around Australia. If only there was more agreement between racing groups on basic track standards also. Then we might be able to get larger race meets happening.
Thanks for the feedback. I know there are others who have different opinions on this topic. I also know of others who believe all racing should be out of the box only. When it's all said and done, if the racers you race with, majority agree with a rules set. Run with that.
Isn’t it great to see a channel with race specific content, rather than just another collector opening a box and doing some laps.
Thank you for the feedback.
It's greatly appreciated.
Thanks for the information you going to details very good play videos are awesome keep em up😊😊
Thanks for sharing!!! I would come racing, just the other side of the globe......😢
Somehow, I don't doubt that. Maybe one day we'll be on the same side of the planet, and get to have a race.
Just came across your Chanel, some great videos, very inspiring and it's good to find another one from the land of Aus

Changing parts is an upgrade. By tweeking a stock or a car within the rules is definitely tuning.
