      I'm sure he's saving his opinion for when the bikes face off.... Personally I feel like even though ktm is a wild monster, it just can't match up in overall performance when Compared to streetfighter & Tuono. So I would skip it. Bmw is a great bike but too refined for my liking (lacks character). It seems to come down to streetfighter & Tuono. Tuono is amazing especially after you tune it up but I get the feeling that this streetfighter is going to be even more AMAZING in all aspects once you tune it up. More top end power than the Aprilia, but it's up where you can't use it, becasue it's a naked bike with no wind protection...interesting. Looks awesome though, but I'm not so sad I own the Tuono. I'm a little sad that Neevesy can't afford it, he's the best reviewer around, he should be able to afford whatever bike he wants IMHO.

    • @Juuul89
      @Juuul89 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yea but by that logic everyone should just get the superduke since it has the most torque across the rev range. But yeah this "right at the redline power" is kinda useless for a naked. If you want a racebike, you might as well get the real Panigale, you're not gonna be riding at 15k rpm on the street anyway

    The looks are growing on me...but the Tuono just sounds so good though from stock. And you can get Tuono's from what, £13kish...I think for me it'd edge the SF with that kind of price advantage. Though if the SF numbers are kept fairly limited it'll retain the price difference and maybe more. Ahh, what do I know...I've just bought my fifth bike in 18 months (still got one bike...I haven't got 5...I'm not TMF) and hoping this one will be the one - for at least a couple of years. @@A.J.1656 Just got a new Tuono Factory to replace my R1 that got stolen, R1 is the much better bike if there were no speed limits. Realistic top speed of the Tuono is about 150mph because of wind blast which has you gripping the bars too tight. Wheelies and wheelspin are the limiting factor for acceleration so not sure how you can use more power on a naked bike although the wings probably help until they are knocked off in traffic. Did a 160mph midnight cruise back from the TT a few years ago on the R1 which would be impossible on the Tuono or any other naked. The Tuono is a great street bike for hooning about and is smooth and comfortable at street speeds it also sounds much better than my brothers clattery V4S. The question you have to ask before dropping £20k on a Streetfighter is WHY?

    • @CycleCruza
      @CycleCruza 4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      I owned the 17' Tuono, awesome bike BUT it's basically a RSV4 with handlebars, an odd riding position that is mot much more comfortable than a superbike on long rides. Electrical gremlins too! Or my 13 years new Honda CBF1000, a sport-tourer bike. This is my main gripe with that bike. It's cool that it has a supercharger and all that jazz, but 239 kg wet is just insane for a naked.

      And it's H2SX brother made 240 hp TO THE WHEEL with minimal mods. Sometimes it doesn't matter about the weight. If the bike is set up properly to handle. You guys won't be cackling anymore when the ZH2 blows past the V4 Streetfighter. It's all down to the physics of power-to-weight.

    • @yoog
      @yoog 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Lifted_Above do the same basic mods to the Ducati and it would be up there. The akra alone pushes it to 220hp drops the weight too so wet the bike would be less that 180 kg the kiwi can’t beat that

    I appreciate Ducati's effort to add straight bars and remove the plastics from their flagship superbike, but who is going to go 167 MPH on a naked bike? No one. Every presser mentions it, and it's nonsense every single time. The wings should go in the same bin as the fairings and the stock exhaust.

      @@theresonly1truth138 definitely! I reckon 2021 although Covid-19 may delay this. It just needs a fresh front end (I think the back is already good), a slight weight trim and they engine from the rsv4 1100 retuned to claim the magic 200ps/hp. I reckon that'll be a winning formula

Now money is a factor Ofcourse but if you're simply picking the best bike to have..... What's it going to be??? Let's wait and find out ;)

    Beautiful bike, but for that kind of money, I'll just keep my old S4R. 85,000 km now and still going strong. The key to Ducati longevity is servicing, and knowing the running costs of my old girl, I think this bike would knock me for six.

    • @atastefortheroad4475

      The S4R is a nice machine and servicing is imperative. I had very good luck w/my 750 two valve for 16 years and my current 1200s runs like clockwork. Find a good dealer and do the servicing on time and in full and you'll have a very positive experience. Enjoy!

Expected delivery was mid April, but I think that will be pushed back now. 1st mod will definitely be full Akra exhaust, with up map...cuts weight and increases hp...and sounds much more aggressive...just compare to Panigale V4 with same exhaust. This bike will be beast on the streets.
