Used a long drill bit, took out as much as I could that way. Then took a long flat head to break it up as much as I could. Going back and forth until almost all of it was out. Then used a cylinder home to get rid of all of the stuff off the walls and the rest of what was left. Take your time work in sections. Will take a little while. Try not to take it all out in massive chunks. You can end up doing more harm than good that way
Hey I really like your video and I love the S&S exhaust!! Did you notice any difference in your torque with these exhaust into the low end and mid-range power?? Plus I cannot wait to see what you do to it next on your upgrades awesome👍🏆
Thanks man! And the torque curve defiantly feels better. Maybe just about the same at super low end, but it picks up quickly and you feel when it takes over in the top end. I’ve noticed between 2200-2800 it’s a little bit of a dip, but 2800+ it just takes off!
@@FatBoyBob thank you for the reply back I can't wait to watch your next video and see what your dyno numbers are on your bike and to see what other upgrades that you're planning to do👍🏆
@@FatBoyBob----> I chose the Fuel Moto RTX two-into-one exhaust because it was not as loud as the D&D two-into-one but still gave the engine good low-end torque. After 350 miles I took the RTX two into one-off then reinstalled my stock head pipes and removed the cat inside of the collector. I still had a pair of the Fuel Moto, Street Outlaw mufflers. I installed the right side Street outlaw muffler. After doing a test ride the low end was very soft and the engine did not start pulling well until 3,800 RPMs. I then went to Home Depot and bought a stainless steel bolt that was 8 -inches long so that when I cut the bolt head off and the threads off of the bolt that what was left was a steel rod that just long enough to fit into the very end of the baffle on the right side Street Outlaw muffler. I then tack-welded both ends of the bolt on the top and bottom to the inside of your baffle. This boosted the low-end torque some but still not enough. The low-end torque was still not strong enough on the low end, so I put a weld at the middle of the rod and about one inch long on either side of the rod. I tapered the weld end on both sides of the steel rod with the straight 'Dremel-like' tool that I bought from Harbor Freight. Thinning out the steel rod and tapering the welds on either side of the steel rod will make the RPM's increase faster and also lower the low-end torque. Go to Harbor Freight and buy a straight ' Dremel " looking tool and also a barrel carbide grinding bit to smooth the welds and also trim the thickness of the rod. It took me about 15 attempts of grinding and rewelding to get the sound and roll-on power at 2,500 RPM's that I wanted. Doing this makes a big difference in changing the torque and exhaust sound.
@@amphibdriver1 You could have done that with all-thread and not gone through whatever ridiculous bolt-head cutting/tapering/dremeling you just described here…like what was all of that you just wrote man?
I personally would keep with this one. I’ve personally had quality control issues with Bassani and there has been better customer service in my experience with S&S. So just an overall better experience
Cool video and great production. Please do me a favor and don’t go ripping through 25mph residential zones WFO like you did in this video. That sort of nonsense makes all of us look bad to the general public. Aside from that, keep enjoying the ride my man.
No power loss. If there is any, it’s marginal at best. You’d feel more of a power difference from different humidity levels in the air day to day than from the rain sock.
It was a cat. Take a flashlight and look down a stock exhaust. What you'll see in the headers is exactly what was in the S&S muffler. It's not the baffle.
Man, I am so happy hearing you so happy 😍
Ok that does it. The sound is deep and growly, most excellent. This is the way for sure.
Nice review. I bought the race version and I love it. The sound is just insane.
I bought the same ones for my RG ST !! Can't wait thanks for the review !!
Why did you remove the cat? Would have been good to see a difference between cat and decatted.
I assume it doesn’t have the DB reducer installed ?
Next step should be a Zippers Redshift 468 Cam and a S&S alu. Manifold, your Torque and Throttle response will explode ✊🏻👍🏻
Sounds good !
Is this a 107 or 114? And is this with the stock cam?
Sounds really good. I’m subscribed
Great sound, there are claims hat sidewinder 2in1 complied with 50 states. However, I noticed the sound is loud. What is the decibel on thus pip?
How did you get the cat out?
How did you remove the cat ?
Stock 114 air cleaner? Just the stage one and did you get the tuner from fuel moto?
did you have any weirdness putting you floor board back on?
Definitely so weirdness with it. Had to get some different bolts to actually measure up right.
I just installed this exhaust on my 13 Road Glide. It comes with spacers and longer bolt for floor board but I didn't need them.
The cat wasn’t in the muffler?
The cat was in the muffler. First thought was to be in the head pipe as it is in stock. But then check and found it in muffler.

You ride your bike with the rain cover covering the air intake - losing power? That's funny =))
