    Im getting old and lazy too. But in spite of that, I'm headed out to the garage right now to knock out a Stage 1 on my 2021 Street Glide. It will be my first full exhaust, but now I'm inspired. I just hit "Subscribe" because you seem like:
    1. a regular guy
    2. doing regular Harley stuff
    3. who happens to be really good at making videos.
    It's hard to find all three.

    The pipe looks great and sounds great. I love how it's not obnoxious.
    I went with the two brothers comp s and it's actually a little loud for my taste so I've been fiddling with baffles for it. Back in the day loud was proud but now that I'm almost 50 I like a quieter Rumble. That S&S pipe sounds excellent right out of the box.

    I probably should have used anti-seize on my O2 sensors and adapter bushings. But I didn’t and ended up destroying my $900 S&S Sidewinder 2:1 exhaust. It was a great Stage II exhaust while I had it on the bike. Looked great. Sounded good. And the bike ran much better than stock. I agree with you about the 2:1 pipe. I think asymmetrical looks fine, and I would never put a ghost pipe on the left side. My RGS already weighs 900 lbs. There’s no need to add more weight unnecessarily.

    • @ProfessionalMonkey
      @ProfessionalMonkey  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      How did the o2 sensors destroy your pipe?

    • @briandickter2724
      @briandickter2724 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Everything was pretty much fine w/ my Sidewinder exhaust running Stage II (Air Cleaner, Exhaust, H-D TQ cam, V&H FP3 Tuner).
      But when I decided to switch to Thundermax ecm w/ wide band O2 sensors, I could not remove one of the brass adapter bushings out of the S&S head pipe. Like a moron, I tried to force it out with a breaking bar and I damaged the front cylinder head pipe stripping the threads for the O2 sensor. fitting.
      The guy who bought it from me on eBay got a great deal. He simply welded a new O2 fitting into the pipe where I had damaged it. And I purchased a new D&D Billet Cat 2:1 exhaust. So it was win:win for everyone!

    • @ProfessionalMonkey
      @ProfessionalMonkey  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yup, drove me nuts also. That half pipe ties in right after the cat and it heats it up more than the main pipe and there's less pressure so hot particulate sticks to the tip.

    For audio, hit up Cameron Johnson with badazz bikes, they set me up with Sound Digital amp, hertz neo speakers and all wiring for less than what you paid for the pipe. Wasn't to bad of an install, but the batwing speaker pods are going to test your ever loving patience...6 or 7 total bolts for each one and 3 are hidden by the triple tree inside of the fairing. New subscriber to your channel. Love all videos, especially the stories keep them coming! You need a jack for working on your bikes. I have a J and s and love it. You can raise the bike so you can sit on a rolling stool. Great so I don't have to be on the knees.

      @@ProfessionalMonkey yup, via the Screamin Eagle kit. Less HP & TQ than a fuel moto or S&S kit but warranty friendly. Higher compression than stock, so pushing more air out the exhaust. Once I get a more neighbor friendly exhaust, then my life will be easier😂

    I know this is an older video so you may not see this, but do you need a tune to go with a 2-1 exhaust if everything else is stock?

    • @ProfessionalMonkey

      Yes, you should change the intake though. Any high flow exhaust needs a tune and a high flow intake.

      @@fijijakes I like the S&S tear drop, iconic design. You can get it in the stealth version or the stinger. It's really preference for appearance. To be honest just about ALL high flow filters perform the same, it's just about whether it is or isnt high flow.
