I take comfort in knowing when my machine is telling me go get gas I have plenty to do it . Idk I bought mine in 2020 and never had an issue but I am going to do the filter
When you change the air filter, shine a light down the intake tube and check for dirt. The fine dust I ride in gets past the filter and into the engine
@@KRXBrandon Both R2C and stock filters let dust in. I’m running a Baldwin rs30077 outer filter and a Donaldson p782300 inner filter. Inner and outer filters are the only things I’ve found that keep the intake clean. I put almost 200 miles on this setup over the long weekend and no dust made it in.
@@KRXBrandon if you add the inner filter, you will have to trim down some of the foam on the end, so it will fit inside the collar in the air box. Just make sure you leave enough for a food tight seal
just to be lil helpful; invest in a cheap accessory go pro or camera mount with a little tripod or head mount, lets us non mechinical inclined people see every step; because your videos are really helpful and would like to see it all
Good video but the fuel level bending makes no sense. It tell s you empty when the fuel filter is still covered with gas lower the float it starts sucking air. Bottom line when the KRX tells you empty put fuel it don't bend the float down
@@KRXBrandon no probably good that it’s not sucking from the bottom tho. I think Kawasaki wanted you to have plenty of fuel left at one bar on purpose being some people get a bit sidetracked or lost .
Great video man! Love my Kawi but still cant believe they couldn't figure out how to build the float to be accurate! Thanks
Totally agree! I still mainly go by mileage but this will help some!

That’s a good plan too!
Thanks for the video, helped me a lot.

Will do. What are you doing to keep it from happening, a particle separator?

@@1rustyshackelford Guess I have more to add to the list!

That's cool to hear, I will go look on ebay and see what they have!

Great video thanks
You're welcome!
You put that float to close to the bottom of your fuel pick up and by the time it says your low you may actually suck air on hills!
It hasn't done it yet, actually it still is fairly inaccurate. My pump does not rest on the bottom of the tank, does yours?

Thanks, glad it helped!
