Yep, for sure it changes the RPMs, contrary to what a lot of people think it does not hurt a thing. These are always the people that don't know how a wet clutch work. They are either used to a snowmobile or a Razor clutch, TOTALLY different setup on the Kawi. Either way man, I am sure you will be happy with the JBS weights. I did mine a while ago and they show no wear at all after a few months of use. I did try their secondary spring and I have to say, my backshifting is better and it accelerates harder than with no spring. It seems to beef it up a bit from one spring, but not the excessive pressure of 2. James from JBS knows his stuff. Subbed and keep the cool videos coming man!

I was shocked how much of a difference it really made. I wish I would have done it sooner.

Just got back my primary and secondary and went to the KRS invasion. What a difference in my rig unbelievable anybody that doesn’t use his product is crazy.

@@mikeruder336 I plan to send my stuff to him. Question for ya. Do you notice any higher top speed in low? I really need some more wheel speed while in low.

lol.. thanks ..Just so everyone knows you can get the rpms that low with the spring in too you just have to make the weights heavier. Less belt wear and wear on all the other component's without the primary spring is the reason we do it and if the bike is stock and over revving like they do its a great free mod for those looking for a quieter sxs and better for cruising...if anyone has a issue with my weights with or without primary spring i will cover it..I had a dealer saying all clutches overheat without primary spring and said it was mandatory for them to run spring when i know different and it does cause more wear...I have to keep the warranties to a min if im gonna warranty a product for 2 years that no one else will do so it will be by my rules because im the one footing the bill for any warranty. WATCH FOR NEW CLUTCH NEWS SOON!!

Thanks for commenting and clearing that up. It was way easier to pull the spring then the weights again. Adding and taking off weights seems like science project. Lol

Didnt I see you at Windrock recently? I'm running the dynojet weights with their spring and my rpms match your before numbers exactly. My nephew just took his spring out and it looks like im heading to the garage to remove mine lol. At Windrock, as you probably know, you only cruise at 10-20 on the g roads mostly. Sick of not hearing my CB radio, letting off the peddle asking to repeat that etc. The engine braking was a concern since I crawl downhill in 4x4 low a lot. Nasty descents at Windrock.

Man I sure wish you did see me there. Wasn't me though. I have no issues with engine braking. It acts just like it did before with the spring.

I have not yet, I leave for West Virginia in a week. That will be the true test. I'll give you an update when I come back.

engine braking is controlled by the shiftout...the higher the rpms on shiftout the more engine braking you will have or the lower the rpms cruising then less engine braking...so in other words engine braking can be changed by secondary spring or the primary spring or how much the weights weigh...all 3 do the same thing as far as engine braking

Much better. You can tell with the spring in you were also hitting the rev limiter on acceleration frequently and with the spring out you were not!!!
