    After finding and watching this video, I tried everything that was suggested, The three notches, Grease And A spacer on the bottom. All with a new filter .I still had dirt in the air tract. There was no signs of it getting past the seals, so it had to come right through the filter and this was with 250 miles Of light riding .I did this while I was waiting on the delivery of my new UNI.I had one on my 08 teryx and loved it ,cant wait to get one on the KRX tomorrow. Thanks for everything Jake.

    Thanks for this video Jake. I’ve had nothing but issues with dust getting into the intake with stock and R2C filters until I switched to a Baldwin filter. Like the Donaldson, it’s about a half inch longer than the stock filter and it works perfect, like it should.

      The shoe goo worked a little better but these paper filters are not the answer. The Trinity is definitely not the answer either. Lots of information and results are posted on the forums. We went to the UNI and have it looked back. Check out our newer videos on that filter.

    I have found that the NAPA gold filter fits really well. It also seems to be a quality filter. Two questions: Now that you have had ayear of changing filters more often, how often are you changing your filter? Secondly, how do you feel about using the air compressor to blow the filter out from the inside out every ride or two, in between filter changes?

    • @fullaccessutv
      @fullaccessutv  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      we have learned to no longer trust the paper filter and neither should you. We now make and sell a UNI foam oiled air filter that is always cleanable. The napa/wix are junk. Watch the video here on our channel. Even the new kawasaki motorcycles come with a oiled foam air filter, why not the KRX?

    I apologize, what is shoedo? or shoodew? I can't find it on line or don't know what that is? Silicone??
    2nd question is if you need to fill in those little slots on the filter, what is the reason they make it like this in the first place? There must be a reason they make it like this?

    • @fullaccessutv
      @fullaccessutv  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      The reasoning they made them was for vacuum suction. However, we have gone away from using paper air filters in the Kawasaki. Check out our videos and we now have a UNI air filter made specifically for the Kawasaki. Lifetime and cleanable.

      It helps, but it’s no replacement for maintenance. From what I’ve seen most people that have them don’t look at the air filter because they think it’s good. That’s really bad.

      Way sooner. It really depends on you and where you’re riding, but I’ve been pretty religious about mine and it wasn’t soon enough. That filter shown only had two trips on it.
