The 5 door Jimny was just launched last Jan 25, 2024 here in the Philippines. Comments in videos from local TH-camrs not good. I’m glad I found your channel. This car appeals to me because of its austere vibe. Looking for a 3rd car that I will use daily that is compact but rugged that will last long (less bells and whistles) and I won’t worry if there is a flood or bad roads. My car now is 20 yrs old 10 seater AUV and Im the only passenger.

If good mileage is a big factor for you, Jimny should not be your first choice! On the other hand, the 4x4 ability of the Jimny is a biggest bonus in my opinion - I really like the feeling that my Jimny can conquer almost any terrain and with ease! Good luck 👍

Really great info. When I reverse my Jimmy I was scared abt the spare wheel and the camera indication. After seeing this video I am now clear I can easily go till red line mark. Thanks Ritesh for this video

My pro tip to you that you should still just go upto the yellow line whenever possible... go to the red only if you are in a very tight position, that way the chances of error are reduced and also remember you are only looking at the floor level from the rear cam.

Here we go Yes I picked the 23 alpha manual edition at a discount of 2.4lakhs. Dealer was ready at 1.6 but thought I will pull strings so that got me another 0.8. I told them I was not picky about Color (within I loved the granite grey) but as luck may have it the dealer said they had only white and granite grey… so that made my day. Final on road in Bangalore 15.3 with all standard accessories. Tomorrow I am going back to get my Dashcam fitted. Any suggestion is welcome Will wait for more of ur videos

Comes with Suzuki startup logo. Resolution is fine but not the best though. Costed 4900. Quobo (hero group) was another after market option but I went with the MSIL one.

thankyou for explaining the rear camera setup of the jimny in a visually clear and easy to understand manner. I would like to add hee that the yellow line could also indicate that the vehicle is at a distance from the obstacle where the rear door can be opened to its full extend.

Another great video . One thing i noticed while backing up during the test drive that the purple lines did not match the view from the side mirror . I thought it was a manufacturing defect till you pointed it out ...thanks 😁
Do the lines depicting the body of the car adapt to the changes in the steering wheel when we turn it ? They don't on my Jimny Alpha AT. Just wanted to check if its the same with you and is the normal working.
Is is only applicable to the JC74(5dr Jimny) 3dr does not have purple or orange lines or even rear parking sensors 3dr also has a Lite/SZ4 option where the headunit is just a standard CD player, this trim does not have a revere camera.

I just subscribed 😊 on this Camara details No I was not aware of that Spare Wheel guide line. Indeed a cool feature. Thanks for your time to deep dive and get us these facts. My Jimny Alfa AT is yet to be delivered. Are you happy with stock tires so far? The only upgrade I want to do is a plus size tire and I think instead of 215 it's the 225/70 R15 that has minimum deviation from stock. The only option is Apollo Apterra AT2. I am however sceptical not only on FE but as a quality I think Bridgestone Dueller is probably a better made tire and as 90% will be Highway driving, other than cosmetic reason that upgrade is a waste ... please let me know your thoughts on this... or should we live with these pizza cutters (?) Thank you Sir

You have actually answered the tyre upgrade question yourself - the OE tyres are really good and Bridgestone Duelers are one of the best tyres there are in the SUV world! I won’t change them! And once again the stock tyres do not look small and yes, the FE will suffer! And while you have said that 90% is highway, these Duelers are very capable off road also. Don’t waste your money… 😊
