Details about simulation: MRFs for the wheels, model is as accurate as we can get. Meant for general entertainment and general aero.
Truly one of the TH-cam videos of all time. Love your content!
You're not wrong
Hey, thats my car. The one from the picture and 3d model are 2 different generations😅
Gen2 (which I own, with the manual transmission and sport spoiler) does seem to have a smoother frontal area for deforming the airflow around the roof and sides, than Gen3.
Now I’m wondering if there’s a way to modify or replace the spoiler for a little extra efficiency!
I suppose finding aerodynamic wheel rim covers would probably be more effective and simpler, though…
Rim covers are the easiest thing to do.
It'd be really interesting to see, if it's even possible, the analysis of a fighter jet like the su27 or the Eurofighter
We were going to do it. But then forgot. Thanks for the reminder!
@PremierAerodynamics cant wait 👍
Hey, that's my Uzi! Thanks for doing this simulation, downforce is cool
Downforce is definitely cool.
I'm impressed that there's a production vehicle with the same Cd as an Uzi
I would love to see the 8th gen Civic with it's, for the time, way too sloped windshield.
Damn how educational this is. Pls do Apple Magic Mouse vs McLaren F1 next
Ngl I like your idea
Can you compare the areodynamics of the scion xb vs a toaster?
Thank you, Las night I couldn't sleep thinking about it 🙏
TIL: the uzi generates good downforce😂✨
at this point im fully convinced suzuki jimny has the exact same drag coefficient as 2 bricks stacked
Honda designed the Fit like a wing to discourage drivers from driving fast by putting the fear of death into their veins. Works only sometimes.
Lol
PLEASE! Toyota Altezza / Lexus is300/200
Love this silly video 😂
Could you do the Opel Corsa D ❤️
yesssss thats my car!! was waiting for something like this!
I see in a lot of your videos that there is turbulence at the bottom of most windshields of most cars on your channel.
In my project to reduce NVH, I bought a windshield diflector off Temu, essentially weather stripping with a shark fin that breaks up the air hitting the windshield.
It may just be the cheapest, highest ROI noise deadening I have done so far
🤓👍 Proof that your models are accurate to real life.
Wow! That's cool. And it's awesome when you can use something cheap and basic to get good results.
Also concave shapes are great at channeling fluid, liquid or gaseous.
That's true. The Coanda effect is sweet.
@PremierAerodynamics convex. Some say Coanda would have never discovered the effect without his trusty bald spot.
The uzi is probably still more aerodynamically efficient than a jeep wrangler
To be fair if you're shooting an uzi out of a fit, the stagnation pressure at the magazine would counter some of the recoil.
Good point. And firing it backwards would push the car forward a little too.
Please can you do an analysis on my car? I would really appreciate it. It's a vw polo mk6.
Maybe a look into the Volkswagen Passat B3 might be interesting since it's surprisingly drag coefficient for an old boxy car of the 90's with 0.29. Or maybe an Audi A2 with 0.25.
id love to se how good the rx7 fc is aerodynamically.
