Hi Manish, yes you can shift from L to 2 to D - its advised that you do it at low speeds and not rev the engine while you are shifting! I am not in favor of either doing PPF or various kinds of coatings like Ceramic / Nano etc. First of all, why do we need them suddenly, secondly they are so expensive, you can get your entire car painted a couple of times in the same price plus it comes with more problems like quality, improper installation, replacement cost, yellowing, rust sometimes when moisture gets trapped etc etc. My biggest consideration is that its harmful for the environment - more plastic, more chemicals, more water contamination etc. etc. this product is purely a innovation to make money, completely avoidable in my view. did you do it? do you replace the existing one with 80L one? because current tank looks pretty small considering the mileage.

Go for it, its a great car! 80L tank makes a lot of sense since it does take frequent trips to the gas station. The top spec 5 door here in India called the Alpha comes with an Arkamys tuned audio system and i find it pretty adequate but i must admit that i am not an audiophile! On the fridge and the rear setup - don't have any experience on that but i just want to add some info that you might find useful, the rear seats on the 5 door do not fold flat like they do in the 3 door version, so you may want to check that bit! You are bang on - i too find the ground clearance and suspension set up more than adequate 👍 Good luck for you new ride, Cheers.

Drive in 2High in L, should be adequate - the hill hold works well on the Jimny. However if the gradient is very high and road slippery causing loss of traction, you can shift to 4High and that should do the trick. Be careful, cheers and good luck 👍

Thank you so much for you compliments😊 Do you already own a Jimny? The rear seat is smaller than average but not that bad if you are an average sized body build - we just did a 3300 km trip in 8 days - a family of 4. It wasn't luxurious but it wasn't uncomfortable either - Hope that helps 👍

Hey thanks for watching and reaching out. Haha... Not true! The Jimny is made for the hills and off road, folks are still learning to drive these cars - the Jimny has more than adequate power for the hills and such terrains - its tuned at high rpms for max power and torque and its light weight is big plus too! It just lacks high speeds - comfortable till 120 Kmph can go to 145 Kmph max but its a struggle. Hope that helps 👍

Congratulations of your new Jimny! You are right, the rear seats may be a challenge for long drives! If you do need 4 functional seats frequently, then it would make sense to go for the Captain seats assuming you will not miss the folding feature of the current rear seats for a bigger boot space when you need it as the captain seats are unlikely to have that flexibility. I would however be very interested in finding out how that works and if you do plan to execute it, you can let me know in advance through my YT mail turbobubdiy@gmail.com and maybe we can even make a video ;) who knows! My experience with the throttle response has been that, its really quick when you take off and then it tapers down - infact i always leave the traffic behind, everytime i take off from red light changing to green and i have noted it more than a few times ... may be its your tyre upgrade!! Cant say. However you that go for a throttle controller to correct that situation... Hope this helps, good luck 👍

Yes, I love my car more than ever, is the change that has happened and i am saying that in all sincerity! I don't think MSIL will discontinue the Jimny any time - it an icon and has tremendous demand and respect worldwide and since it's made in India - it will always be there, but might only be produced on demand for us. It's very sad that MSIL doesn't not understand the psyche of their own icon - they botched up the launch with greedy pricing and not creating enough awareness and hype before the launch - there should have been a proper buildup for a year perhaps and then the launch with invitation pricing and then they should have taken it from there and it would've been a runaway success... well 😒 My 2 bits, go for it, Good Luck 👍

In India, we call all roads that are outside the towns and cities as highways - the roads that connect two towns are called State Highways (SH) and the ones that connect cities in different states are called National Highways (NH) and there is no concept of minimum speed - hope that helps you better. As regards your query, if you are in a situation where you need to get into 4WD, the logical sequence is something like this, depending on your need at that moment: Shift to 4H and in D, then to 2 and then to L, if that doesn’t help then slot it into 4L and in D and then to 2 and then L if required. You will have the max power and torque at 4L / L. You can of course jump steps depending on what you feel will be most appropriate at that time and a lot of it will come from experience, once you have been in a few of these situations and once you understand the capabilities of your Jimny.
