@@handsonwithbabbar I agree! I am almost sold after test-driving the Jimny recently and this video kind of cleared some of the minor details I was pondering about. It is indeed a beautiful small machine but trust me.. it is the most comfortable in tight traffic conditions. I test drove this in Bangalore's mad bumper to bumper traffic and I love the nimbleness with which I could maneuver this machine. Simply brilliant. I am just not sold on the pricing but what the hell, there's nothing that beats this car in the segment after all. So mostly this is replacing my current 10 year old sedan.
My Brother in Christ, people like you are always happy to apply the "pseudo" tag to reviewers that take the time to work on and grow a TH-cam channel. Why not try to do it yourself, and see how easy it is?
I have bought a jimny too recently when Maruti Suzuki offered discounts in December. My variant is Alpha MT kinetic yellow dual tone. I've driven it around 2.2k kms and this is what I feel about this car:- Pros: 1. Very capable off roader. Earlier I was driving 4x2 where sometimes I had to struggle during off roading but off roading in jimny feels way way easier. 2. Compact car. Maneuvering on narrow roads not an issue. 3. Suspension is really good. 4. Body roll over is almost non-existent. 5. Less road presence makes your car look different and with some modifications, people will keep checking out your car. 6. Boot space is adequate. U can put sufficient luggage if u want to go on a trip. 7. Five door system makes it highly practical. Ones who have used 3 door system on gpysy and thar would understand how tedious and uncomfortable it is to sit in the rear seats. Due to this reason, jimny can actually be used as a primary car. 8. Best 4x4 at this price. Cons: 1. Rear seat belt alarm is annoying. 2. Gearbox is stiff initially and may take time to adjust. 3. Stock tyres and the front grill give a bad look to this car imo. Stock tyres are really thin. From the front, car looks like a toy due to this very reason. Upgrade if possible. Side profile of this car looks great though. 4. This car feels underpowered. No matter what others say, this car won't compete with many on the highways. This might be a factor to many who like to drive fast (over 100kph). There's a lag in acceleration. 5. Turning radius is a bit more. 6. Cabin space inside is not enough for big bulky guys. If you're bit overweight, your arms will be touching the car door and also to the person sitting alongside you in the front. For skinny guys it's not an issue. Car is tall enough so there's enough space for your head also. 7. Under thigh support is not adequate in the rear seats. 8. This car doesn't have proper storage space for basic stuff like bottles, phones etc. It's really bothering.
Thanks for summarising most of my video 😀! The stock tyres are perfect for me and work like a charm. I don’t feel the car is underpowered and hey it’s not meant to compete in speed, this one is not fast but it’s fearless! The space inside is more than adequate I feel and I am a big guy, don’t know if you a big built or you are just guessing that it will be tight fit for two big guys! I can tell you from experience that it’s not a tight fit for two big guys sitting abreast in front! Yes rear seat belts are annoying, turning radius is tad bigger and cabin storage is a problem, however I have found hacks for them and you should see my 2 latest videos to see these hacks 👍🏻
@@handsonwithbabbar I've watched all your videos and the latest ones too with hacks. They're good. I'm saying space inside is inadequate because others who have sit beside me have said it. I'm not a big guy but few times I sat with bigger guys and I could feel the space issue. I said underpowered because this car lags in acceleration. I was trying to follow my cousin who was driving swift on chandigarh road but couldn't because of lag in acceleration. Anyway, I live in the mountains so speed is not a concern for me. As you said, this car is not for competing on highways. This car does it job pretty well for what's it made. I'm contended. Stock tyres do the job well but during off roading you might feel it doesn't perform that well as it would with better tyres (A/T).
@@freakout4775My dear fellow, the matter at hand is not with the vehicle itself, but rather with the unfortunate corpulence of your companions. It might behoove you to gently suggest they consider adopting a more refined and healthful diet. Such a course of action could not only extend their years but also allow you to derive greater pleasure from your conveyance.
This is the only JIMNY video that I will share- what an honest no nonsense review by someone who you can so relate to- way better than so many noisy self styled auto journalists on the tube. Keep up the great work Ritesh - God bless
One of the best reviews, the way it was done the way you spoke and the way you addressed issues and compliment the good features with real life comparisons , just the best
I did damping to the doors and bonet, changed the android system to the latest pioneer 6650 with new speakers, installed a Pedal commander throttle controller for the interior, and it was totally worth it.
Real honest, simple and strsight forward review. A rarity now a days. Great going. Please upload more videos on anything under the sun you feel like. A breath of fresh air in the polluted environment!!
Thank you so much for watching and commenting, really appreciate it. I am glad you like the IBEX! I will pass on your compliments to the Video Editor 🙏🏽
Finally something practical and honest. Someone who spoke what Jimny really is. It is a very underrated car and does not deserve all the bashing and hyped up reviews. Thank you and I just love my Jimny. 😊
After viewing your review. I have booked the Jimny and will be driving in soon. Thanks for the comprehensive coverage and positive feedback.🙏😊 will name my Jimny “Godspeed”.
Great style Sir... Brilliantly covered aspects of this very capable Mountain Goat. Icing on Cake's top was the name you suggested is really 👌super. Suzuki sure needs to provide an Arm Rest! Bells and chimes can be better than that ancient beep!!! I used to like the Ford chimes. This car is a must buy as one can keep it for decades like our elders did with the Gypsy 🙏 My IBEX is on its way. 😊
I really liked your way how u kept this conversation unbiased and opened a way for the people who were in ambiguity whether or not to buy this marvellous invention
Your review can make anyone feel that we are actually listening to someone who know the soul of car. Nowadays internet is filled with self claimed enthusiasts and car gurus who review less of a car more of a gizmo.
A very unique presentation on Jimny I had ever seen from an Indian TH-camr. Great Piece of work sir & yes you busted a lot of myths which I had formed of this car after reading & watching the reviews. Keep up the good work. I would like to hear more about your first car the Fiat Uno if you could share.
Thanks a ton for your generous compliments, I am so happy to read your comments and to note that it made a difference! Like I said the Uno story another day but I can tell you that it was a dream car for a diesel head, pure unadulterated driving pleasure, Fiat service was a big challenge though 😀. Cheers!
Price breakup explained was so sensible enough...Not that we all don't know about it. We are so caught up with the current strategy of people just naming vehicles as over priced, that we forget to think about it...Just like how a import car cost more...
Thank you! what you said and also that the break-up is only visible to someone who is buying it otherwise everything is either bundled as ex-showroom and /or on the road! Cheers 👍
Mine shall be called 'King Julien' (from the 'Madagascar' animated movies fame. Just love that quirky character - as so many people love this quirky little super capable car). I can't wait for mine. I did feel, though, during the test drive that the engine sound does come through pretty clearly at higher revs (maybe some sound deadening may help). The box shape will also result in wind noise. In your video too, when you were showing the 80 and 120 km/h beeps, felt/sounded loud. And the lack of door storage and the hand-rest is definitely an annoyance. But none of these would dissuade me.
Lovely name for this happy car indeed! You will pardon all the little shortcomings when you are sitting inside "King Julien", mark my words and do write back once it happens, good luck👍
Superb video sir. I booked Kinetic yellow and finally change it for Bluish Black. I also having same filling of Crome on front grill which actually not required for black colour. My suggestion sir, if possible make Jimny group for us Indians to make some memorable trips. Thank you.👍
Thank you so much Bhavesh for the encouragement! Great choice of color 😉, there may be a Jimny group of us in the future, who knows? In the meantime Please watch out for the sequel of my video coming out shortly ☺️
I have spent 3 days with my new Jimny so far. Mine too Is bluish black alpha AT. I changed the tyres to continental 215/75/r15 at on the day one as I didn’t like the stock and couldn’t really trust on them for my kind of driving. The vehicle is certainly very comfortable for front 2 seaters, the rear ones may ask to stop for a while after 100 or 150 kms. Only one thing i miss is the throttle response that I used to get from the duster awd I sold.
Exactly! Most people don't know this but the power to weight ratio for the Jimny and the Thar Petrol is exactly the same 😎, thanks for corroborating my findings, Cheers 👍
Excellent Review. By far the best, among all. Excellent effortless explanation of details and also keeping the broader picture in view. Best part was clearing out many myths. Jimny is an excellent car and someday will go for it. May name it the Ram.
Thank you so much for your kind words, really means a lot to a newbie like me! I wish you all the best and hope that you join this growing Jimny tribe soon 🙏🏽. Watch out for the sequel of my video coming out shortly ☺️
What should I say...!!! People have commented enough about this man's reviewing style and his honesty and his personal take on the Jimny....I've been watching a lots of car reviews in years specially the famous ones on youtube, people know whom all I am referring too...After watching this man's reviewing style I can now feel how filmic most of the reviews are...Kindly do more car reviews...I'm sure you'll go places...All the best...!!!
Thank you for your glowing feedback, you have indeed made my day 😊. I am flattered. I am so glad that you enjoyed the reviews, also have made a very serious note of your advice...Thanks again👍
I was worried about lack of power. Good. Since you drove a Mahindra and you feel that the Jimny does not lack power is encouraging. I am waiting for my MT Alpha to arrive. After watching your review I am now less concerned about power. Great review. Liked your style..
Thanks for sharing - the best way to put it is that its not the strongest but it's not weak either - it's a happy car 😊 Thank you for your compliments. 👍
I am one of those who wish to own one. You're honest review is very helpful for me as personally to have an informed decision on buying. Thanks a lot. We hope we'll have atleast a hybrid version coming up soon.
jimny is super fantastic car. i am so happy that 4-door version is available. but they need to make it available for wide range of countries worldwide.
I think it's coming to more countries sooner than later, they have the capacities here so i think it's just a matter of time! Out of curiosity, where are you located? Thank you for your engagement and for watching, cheers 👍
You are really kind and generous with your comments and you have made my day - many thanks, truly appreciate it - a follow up Q&A review coming up shortly, please stay tuned - see i am taking your advice seriously 😊

I'm getting my 5 door Jimny in June. Red color GLX Auto version. His name will be Charmeleon, from Pokemon japanese anime. Since Charmeleon is the second evolution of Charmander, it's perfect for the 5 door which pretty much is the second evolution from the 3 door version. And both are red as well, so I think is a perfect name. Thank you a lot for your reviews by the way, helped me a lot deciding to buy myself a 5 door Jimny! Greetings from Costa Rica mate!
Wow! Delighted to read your comment and the Charmeleon theory - I am aware about Charmander courtesy my kids, I wasn’t aware of it’s evolution into charmeleon 😃! Great choice of the car and name for it! I am really happy to learn that my videos helped you make the decision to buy the 5-Door Jimny - you will certainly enjoy it! Good luck and best wishes from India, cheers 👍🏽
I too am from Gurgaon and had to sell my Accord V6 with a very very heavy heart since it had only done 75000 km in near 14 years. Was super well maintained and was used mainly for local pleasure driving. Subsequent year sold my Getz that had done 85000 km. Now i just keep a Grand i10 parked in the basement for local runabout stuff. Wonder where the govt gets their bright ideas.
Hi, I feel you! It’s a sad state of affairs - half baked measures without any regard for the general public! They could just introduce mandatory annual fitness for older vehicles like in the developed nations… but no! Anyway we are resilient folks, this too shall pass… 👍🏻
Honest and thoughtful! All the words coming out of experience. Loved your take on the run in period, little does anyone know about it... keep up the good work... And i liked your other videos as well, keep on posting the DIY stuff 👍🏼

Only one thing i miss is the throttle response that I used to get from the duster awd I sold. Am planning to replace the rear seat with 2 captain seats and make it a full 4 seaters after 1st or 2nd service. Please share your opinions
Congratulations of your new Jimny! You are right, the rear seats may be a challenge for long drives! If you do need 4 functional seats frequently, then it would make sense to go for the Captain seats assuming you will not miss the folding feature of the current rear seats for a bigger boot space when you need it as the captain seats are unlikely to have that flexibility. I would however be very interested in finding out how that works and if you do plan to execute it, you can let me know in advance through my YT mail turbobubdiy@gmail.com and maybe we can even make a video ;) who knows! My experience with the throttle response has been that, its really quick when you take off and then it tapers down - infact i always leave the traffic behind, everytime i take off from red light changing to green and i have noted it more than a few times ... may be its your tyre upgrade!! Cant say. However you that go for a throttle controller to correct that situation... Hope this helps, good luck 👍
do not know if you are a journalist or now, but this video is such a great content. Hope to see more such content coming out from you. Love every bit of it, in fact could feel every bit of it
Thank you so much, its heart warming to read such glowing comments 😊. Not a journalist, but a passionate guy and i am overwhelmed to see this tremendous response and am motivated to do more stuff that folks like you value, thanks again and stay tuned for the sequel coming soon!
After your review. I'm feeling more confident to buy this as my new primary car. Dehradun reviewers were more likely to blind fan of thar. I would definitely name my Jimny "Ounce" a Snow Leopard.
That's a good suggestion...naming your Jimny..never thought of it...btw,I changed my tyres to Yokohama 225 and I promise you the ride comfort on goes up big time..just finished 2500kms in 5 days in Rajasthan and it was makhan smooth
Glad you liked it, do share the name you finally come up with for your Jimny! I really like the ride quality and handling on the stock tyres plus there are bound to be small issues around odo and speedo errors, road noise, fuel efficiency, steering response with any tyre change etc. I might consider a tyre upsize after I wear out this set… thanks and cheers 👍🏽
Thank you so much for your kind comments, I try to do my best and am glad that you liked them, hope you have seen the follow up video released yesterday. Cheers 😊
Namaste and equally warm greeting from India, my dear new friend from Cyprus! Thank you so much for your compliments, appreciate it! Have you been able to watch the other 3 videos in the series so far? Check them out, cheers👍🏽
It's a really great review, unlike other you tubers. Jimny really a good depiction of ibex and what like its design which has hints of past, freshness of present and still looks futuristic.
Couldn't agree more on your spot on observations of the Jimny - many thanks, appreciate it - a follow up Q&A review coming up shortly, please stay tuned👍🏻
Great review. Very sensible. Ibex is an apt name. System sounds volume can be turned down in settings on touch screen. And system beeps can be switched off. May be you can disable Auto start / stop engine feature in the hidden system settings on the dashboard. Check user manual. If you use Auto light function then you don’t need to worry about DRLs & headlights. I think DRL should always be on by default - unless they have given to option to disable that for use in jungles. Many of the features are similar to Brezza / Urban Cruiser. Happy driving ! I think I will book one after watching your review.
You booking a Jimny after seeing my review is the best compliment I can get! Thank you for your kind compliments and also sharing your knowledge on Maruti cars - I did figure out the Volume beeps silencing in settings & also read in the Owner's manual that you can disable start stop in settings but haven't found that yet, DRLs are still a mystery 😊 Thanks again, Cheers 👍
Superb and captivating unbiased review. The features are well explained. I am driving XL6 since a year,Three irritants for me.Firstly,no Led indicators on doors, display panel like XUV.Secondly, connecting to Music System thru Blue Tooth or USB is a big struggle.Lastly, the Gear change display gets hidden behind the Steering, one has to bend forward to see the Gear.hope they have addressed these irritants in Jimny.
Thank you for your compliments - appreciate your saying that! I hear you, it's a struggle to understand how big car companies miss the simplest things sometimes! The XL6 otherwise i hear is a fun car to drive...On the Bluetooth connectivity, have you searched the web and seen is this a universal problem or something wrong with your car or your phone specifically, because the Bluetooth connection in the Jimny is just seamless! secondly, the steering column in the XL6 is adjustable both for tilt and reach, so you can adjust it to suit your height / sitting stance and you should be able to see the gear info without bending, look it up, if you are not aware of it. Let me know if any of this helped. Cheers and good luck! 👍
The IBEX 🔥 whatta solid name, goes really well with this beast! As well as a person like you, looking gangsta😎👌 For a person like me who has such less knowledge about automobiles this video was very very informative! All the cons stated are justified and Suzuki does need to address them especially the beeping, lights and armrest I feel, rest not really sure about the chrome plates but again that's a perspective and everyone does love a good black 🖤 apart from this you brilliantly covered all the aspects and great work on the pricing as well so Kudos to you sir 💪 Please continue making more such videos, more power to you🙌 Can't wait to see it in person💫
Thank you for you complements, you are very kind. I am happy to have added to your automotive knowledge base ;) I am so glad the community is really liking the IBEX, i am thrilled. Thank you you watching, i am sure we will cross paths soon, cheers 🍻
It's a great car both on road and off road - perfect for a small family that loves a li'l bit of adventure and needs a practical fun to drive car for the city 👍. Thank you for watching and your wonderful comments.
Sir, thank you for this review and other videos on the Jimny. I'm purchasing one this week, and I was starting to think I was making a mistake by choosing the Jimny as my first car, due to the opinions of self-proclaimed auto experts on TH-cam. However, I fell in love with the car during the test drive, and I'm a huge fan of the Gypsy. Now, after watching this video, I'm buying the Jimny with full confidence and a clear heart.🫂
Congratulations on making this decision and you wouldn’t regret it! It makes a great primary car for a family of 4 and it outsmarts most other cars in the city driving too - potholes, narrow lanes, tight parking spaces, water logged roads etc etc are all a breeze for it plus you really enjoy driving it too .. good luck 👍🏼
Hai Sir it was a nice vlog almost you explained everything we want to know about Jimny. TH-camrs and car experts not noticed one thing which you noticed ,that is when we drive the car our left leg is touching the side panel which is little irritating and painful 2 days back I drove this Jimny I also feel the same any way it was fruitful video Thank you
Thanks a ton, appreciate it - it takes empathy to understand what others need, i am glad i could help - a follow up Q&A review coming up shortly, stay tuned👍🏻
Wow! Wow! What were these 21 minutes of watch like? Completely blown away by the way Jimmy was presented to the viewer, to me! And how was the video ended! God! Inspiring! And the creative touch: name your Jimmy. It was a struggle for me to think of a name if I happen to own one. BTW, what should I call my little toy, Brio in my garage! I don't know. Anyways, enjoyed every bit of it...never have I seen any review of this kind....you're in a different league. 😊
Haha...many thanks... i like your style too, you really know how to give compliments. I truly appreciate your comments. The Brio is a cute & capable car, let's call yours "Khargosh" 😊. Let me know what you think of it. Keep watching and engaging, cheers 👍
@handsonwithbabbar your comment makes it a perfect handshake now. Khargosh? Really! But yes, it sounds quite apt for Brio. Honda probably adopts fish philosophy. Honda makes most of its cars, if not all, as smooth gliding over the road as fish experiencing fluid freedom in the ocean. And the quickness and freedom of rabbits is no different. Anyways, the presentation, the quality of content, the analysis, observations and finally the pouring of the creativity touches all along the video, let me repeat my emotions, makes the video a perfect recipe for others to pick from and emulate. You've a gift, sir!
I appreciate that - thank you so much for your compliments! I know how that feels brother, please don't lose hope yet, this life is full of surprises, i am wishing you a future with a nice Jimny in it that is yours, cheers 😊
You seem to be a 'petrol head' and should consider reviewing other lifestyle vehicles, adventure and overlanding rigs, etc... Why do I get the feeling that you come from the Armed Forces...perhaps Army?
Haha...ya sort of, maybe! Thank you for your very interesting suggestions, you've put them in my head now 😁. You guessed it ... I am an Army brat - Dad was in the Army 😎. Cheers, please keep watching and talking.
@@handsonwithbabbar I come from the same background and now understand the immediate connection of minds and souls. I don't mean to impose my views on you but I wish there was a channel that covered some of the Indian army's workhorses - the Stallion, Shaktiman, Jonga, The 1 ton Nissan etc. These vehicles are so nostalgic. though most of these are off the road today, many auto buffs still enquire about these vehicles and some have even asked whether they can be purchased from Jabalpur. I found jimny compact and narrow from the front when i finally happened to catch its sight on the road today. I think Thar commands a bold road presence comparatively. Thar looks wider and taller. If possible I would love to see you doing the review of Thar as well. I like the background music of this video.... Want to see more and more videos coming up.
Thank you so much for your encouragement, really appreciate it! You are right, the Thar has a massive road presence, The Jimny is just that much practical, cute and user friendly. I have noted your suggestions. Cheers. 👍
I love the way you reviewed it. It was amazing, simple and effective. I have gone through lots of reviews, but this one is really helpful and was one of the best. Thank you very much sir. Happy driving. Waiting for my JIMNY and will share the name with you 😊
Thank you so much for your very generous feedback 😊, really appreciate it! Congrats on your Jimny, wish you many happy miles on it! Will look forward to the name of your Jimny, cheers 👍
Great explanation 👌and I don't know about the car but this video is very interesting and I like this video I want to see better speed of the car ...I sure your explanation is amazing ❤
Besides pricing it lower, if Maruti had named this as 'GYPSY' it would have attracted even more attention and interested buyers! Appreciate your patient explanatory style, and a good easy to understand review!
Thank you for your Compliments, appreciate the encouragement! Thats an interesting point, naming it the Gypsy again would've definitely been interesting! There was a strong rumor before the launch that Maruti will do that... Cheers 👍
Saw it in Auto Expo in real , was disappointed, searched a Police Auction Gypsy and restored it to my taste with Ironman suspension and other friendly mods. M happy af
That's a great idea of the Gypsy, i was always fascinated by it but never had the gumption to go for it! The Jimny with the updates over The Gypsy and of course the creature comforts finally pulled me to it! I do recommend that you take a test ride of the Jimny, if you already haven't, it might just surprise you. Cheers and Good luck with your awesome Gypsy. keep watching. 😊
Sir, can you turn off the start stop system? For the lights in back of the inside of the car can you change to LED for better visibility. Mike from Japan
Thank you Mike from Japan :). I am seriously exploring how to turn off the start stop system, it is for me, the most annoying feature of the Jimny will share it once i get to it! I did change the interior lights to white LED lights since... much better, cheers.
this was an absolute delight to watch! incredible real world review of a fantastic car by a man who has driven his cars for a good long time! this is exactly what is missing in todays pseudo journalists era.
Hey, thank you so much for such glowing comments😊 I am so glad that you found it useful and to your taste. The endeavour is to share and spread the joy, cheers👍🏻
Great review. Imagine trying to use the rear for gear, only to have the seatbelts needing to be plugged in. The decision makers at Suzuki that thought this was a good idea, need to be fired.
Thank you! Yes, that's an interesting scenario when the rear belts will trouble you - it's completely illogical that why should you have to buckle up the seats even when no one is sitting, the same is not required for the co-driver seat incidentally, hello! However, the good news is there is work around for that 😉 and also have heard that the alarm stops beeping after some time but it's a considerably long time to endure! Thanks for watching and engaging, cheers 👍
Your review was a breeze of fresh air, Sir. In a world where people are constantly comparing this to Thar and doing pointles tug of wars, defecating on the legacy of Jimny, your reassuring words definitely proved to be helpful. I myself am planning on getting an Alpha MT. Haven't thought of a name yet, but I do have a question. Would you recommend getting wider tyres? Say, from 195/80s to 205/75? Or 215/70s even, if I were to go proper off-roading?
Thank you! Go for the AT if there isnt a specific reason to buy the MT. The stock tyres are very capable, there is really no need to upgrade the tyres - you can do proper off roading with the stock tyres. Think of it this way - the Alto on stock tyres goes everywhere in the mountains of Ladakh. The army gypsy on stock basic tyres goes in any terrain - and the stock tyres on the Jimny are Bridgestone Duellers very capable and Mud and Snow rated! Good luck.
Irony is, people complaining about its price fail to realize its the cheapest 4x4 in india if you're not comparing it to older gypsy and safari. I wish they could also bring the 3 seater variant for solo campers. 😅
Exactly and that too feature loaded! The gypsy while cheaper was five years ago and it was bare bones, didn’t even have a proper hardtop leave alone the bells and whistles that the Jimny comes with! Three seater would be a great fun size i agree, they should’ve introduced it here long back, they were manufacturing it right here and they would’ve been a different place in terms of the market share compared to the Thar today - miles ahead! However Suzuki knows best, why they did what they did!! Watch out for the sequel to the video, coming soon 😊
I am happy with the fabric seats, they look and feel good plus since it’s fabric, it’s breathable! I will only change if I need more padding etc in the seats at a later stage. Hope that helps 😊
wonder full and informative review, agree with all the details. beep can stooped for infotainment system in setting.. the car is crazy and wonderful, will recommend going for AT 235/75/R15 the tires are made for Jimny and help in better highway and off road control
Thank you so much for you kind words, appreciate it! Ya, figured out silencing the beeps in system settings. I am firm on staying with the stock tyres - the Bridgestone Duelers, its currently shod in, are amazing tyres in all respects. Thanks again, Cheers 👍
Great explanation sir. Loved the narrative style of urs. Unbiased, Crisp & Clear review. I have a name in my mind when I purchase this beast "Virago". Hope I am able purchase this year as my primary car. I am driving i20 elite from last 7 years.

I have bought a jimny too recently when Maruti Suzuki offered discounts in December. My variant is Alpha MT kinetic yellow dual tone. I've driven it around 2.2k kms and this is what I feel about this car:-
Pros:
Cons:

You nailed it. Truly, a no-nonsense, straightforward review which one actually expects but rarely gets. Keep up the good work. Cheers.
Thank you for your encouragement, I truly appreciate it! Cheers 🍻
A nice honest review, thank you !
I am so glad that you liked it 😊
One of the best reviews, the way it was done the way you spoke and the way you addressed issues and compliment the good features with real life comparisons , just the best
Thank you so much for sharing specific feedback, it's really helpful and I really appreciate it - it means a lot. 😊
Loved the vid man! A breath of fresh air.
Thank you 😊! That is such a lovely compliment 🤗
I did damping to the doors and bonet, changed the android system to the latest pioneer 6650 with new speakers, installed a Pedal commander throttle controller for the interior, and it was totally worth it.
This is the most genuine review I have ever seen so far.
Awww, super nice of you to say that, thank you! Hope you have seen the second, follow up video, that was released yesterday 😊
Real honest, simple and strsight forward review. A rarity now a days. Great going. Please upload more videos on anything under the sun you feel like. A breath of fresh air in the polluted environment!!
Thanks a ton for your very generous comments, you made my day 😊. I will try my best to live upto your expectations my friend. Cheers 🍻
An excellent review. The narration for each cons with the speed indicator was beautiful. Final verdict of naming it as IBEX is awesome Sir. 👌👌
Couldn't agree more on the Jimny, I am glad you are enjoying yours 😊.
Thank you for your compliments, appreciate it!
This is the most unbiased and detailed review of the Jimny on TH-cam.
Thank you for the positive feedback, appreciate it 😊
After viewing your review. I have booked the Jimny and will be driving in soon. Thanks for the comprehensive coverage and positive feedback.🙏😊 will name my Jimny “Godspeed”.
Thank you, congratulations and what a lovely name too 😊.
Happy to help, great decision - you will thoroughly enjoy it, keep watching 👍🏼
Kudos!...great job. You covered all the points I wanted answers to. Honest...must watch !
Glad it was helpful! Thank you for your encouragement - hope you have seen the follow up video as well 😊. Cheers.
a movie like narration, very good style of reviewing, no nonsense point.
Looks like actual Suzuki Engineer is reviewing.
Hills Queen
Haha, thanks much for your comment, made my day😊. Give my love and luck to the “Hills Queen” 👍
So nice of you to say that, I am glad you liked! Congratulations on your IBEX, may this tribe continue to grow and for decades as you said 😀
I really liked your way how u kept this conversation unbiased and opened a way for the people who were in ambiguity whether or not to buy this marvellous invention
Thanks again 😊
Your review can make anyone feel that we are actually listening to someone who know the soul of car.
Nowadays internet is filled with self claimed enthusiasts and car gurus who review less of a car more of a gizmo.
...and your comment can make anyone feel happy and elated 😊, thank you for the very kind words! Hope you saw the new one too. cheers👍
A Fauji review. I loved the way you articulated what the Jimny is to you. It felt genuine and refreshing. Have a great time while driving the Ibex.
So glad you enjoyed it! Thank you for your wonderful comments and good wishes, very motivating! Cheers 😊
Loved the video! Your style and info stand out. Amazing sign off! I might name my Jimny Chetak!😄
Thank you! Congratulations on your new ride - nice name too 😊

Lovely review! I think I know where you are located, as I will be moving there too. So hope to catch up soon!
Thank you so much and welcome to the neighbourhood! Maybe our paths will cross soon 😊. Watch out for the sequel to the video, coming soon 😊
Replied to your other comment, addressed all your queries😊
11 minutes, You are right. What counts is the power to weight ratio. The Jimny is more than adequate
Exactly! Most people don't know this but the power to weight ratio for the Jimny and the Thar Petrol is exactly the same 😎, thanks for corroborating my findings, Cheers 👍
Awesome man, this video was like a team-bhp review but in a video! Keep it up!
Thanks a ton! Thats a really nice way of complimenting, i am elated. 😊

Thanks for a detailed review. Appreciate your time and efforts in making this video. It is quite helpful.

I have a similar view on tyres. In person i found the tyres to be good sized. These tyres I feel will work well as overlanding tyres. Pizzacutters.
Totally agree, I am going to keep running on the first set of stock tyres and see later! Love the name Pizzacutters, nice, good luck with yours 👍🏻
Honest and thoughtful! All the words coming out of experience. Loved your take on the run in period, little does anyone know about it... keep up the good work...
And i liked your other videos as well, keep on posting the DIY stuff 👍🏼
Thank you so much for your compliments, truly appreciate them 😊. I will certainly act on your advice. Keep watching, cheers 👍

After your review. I'm feeling more confident to buy this as my new primary car. Dehradun reviewers were more likely to blind fan of thar.
I would definitely name my Jimny "Ounce" a Snow Leopard.
It is a very capable and enjoyable Primary car, for a family of 4 or less, go for it! Lovely name, very apt 😊

As well as a person like you, looking gangsta😎👌
For a person like me who has such less knowledge about automobiles this video was very very informative! All the cons stated are justified and Suzuki does need to address them especially the beeping, lights and armrest I feel, rest not really sure about the chrome plates but again that's a perspective and everyone does love a good black 🖤 apart from this you brilliantly covered all the aspects and great work on the pricing as well so Kudos to you sir 💪 Please continue making more such videos, more power to you🙌

Wow!
I am honored!
Dz was d best honest review of all... I've been following Jimny since 2017 or 2018.. Will buy in my next life 😢 Congrats 👏 👍
I appreciate that - thank you so much for your compliments! I know how that feels brother, please don't lose hope yet, this life is full of surprises, i am wishing you a future with a nice Jimny in it that is yours, cheers 😊
After seeing this review, I changed my mind to get the brilliant 5 doors than the previous one original jimny in 3 doors..😉👍
Good choice - I am so glad to hear that! You won’t regret it, cheers 😊
Refreshingly different (honest) review. What auto journalists churn out is nothing but advertorials.
Thank you, your comments are music to my ears 😊
There is a Capt. Suresh Sharma (retd) who runs an excellent adventure outfit - GreenDoT Expeditions. These are the kind of stories that need to be shared. The idea of taking the family away from urban cities and into remote India - to experience something new is exciting.
I have subscribed to your channel and will follow your journey. Stay true to your roots and success will follow.

Loved your comment "Irrational logic of NGT and Mouthful for the lawmakers" 😆
Sir, can you turn off the start stop system? For the lights in back of the inside of the car can you change to LED for better visibility. Mike from Japan
Thank you Mike from Japan :). I am seriously exploring how to turn off the start stop system, it is for me, the most annoying feature of the Jimny will share it once i get to it! I did change the interior lights to white LED lights since... much better, cheers.
Great explanation on the pricing. Kudos to a great video.🙏
Glad you liked it, ya I always thought that pricing was a grey area in all the videos I saw, that could use some explaining, thanks and cheers!
this was an absolute delight to watch! incredible real world review of a fantastic car by a man who has driven his cars for a good long time! this is exactly what is missing in todays pseudo journalists era.
Hey, thank you so much for such glowing comments😊
I am so glad that you found it useful and to your taste. The endeavour is to share and spread the joy, cheers👍🏻
A very well-done review, straight to the point Thanks! 💯
Thank you so much for the compliments and the feedback, appreciate it 😊
Great review.
Thanks for your review, I enjoyed a lot. Really it's wow car ❤
Glad you liked it! Its a brilliant car, it will take time but people will finally get it ... 😉. Thanks and Cheers!
Pls Guide if the Built-In Seat Fabric is Good Enough or Would u Recommend leather seat covers. Thank You
I am happy with the fabric seats, they look and feel good plus since it’s fabric, it’s breathable! I will only change if I need more padding etc in the seats at a later stage. Hope that helps 😊
@@handsonwithbabbar I’m Doing the Same. Thanx for Responding 🙏🏼🙂
My dream baby...... waiting for almost 4years.... Classic boy.....
Good luck with your dream machine, hope you get it soon. Cheers to Classic boy 🍻
Its a good thing that you have explained in detail while others are simply suggesting to up size the tyres.
Thank you so much for your encouragement, it means a lot! Please do watch out for the sequel coming soon 😊
wonder full and informative review, agree with all the details. beep can stooped for infotainment system in setting.. the car is crazy and wonderful, will recommend going for AT 235/75/R15 the tires are made for Jimny and help in better highway and off road control
Thank you so much for you kind words, appreciate it! Ya, figured out silencing the beeps in system settings. I am firm on staying with the stock tyres - the Bridgestone Duelers, its currently shod in, are amazing tyres in all respects. Thanks again, Cheers 👍
Brutal & honest! 🤘
Thanks so much for appreciating it, cheers 😊
Great explanation sir. Loved the narrative style of urs. Unbiased, Crisp & Clear review. I have a name in my mind when I purchase this beast "Virago". Hope I am able purchase this year as my primary car. I am driving i20 elite from last 7 years.
