    Please, continue WLW. Yes, you say things again and again. However, being all alone out here in SAD land, it's nice to have a friend reminding me of my goals and so forth. Your energy helps a great deal.

      I have food puppies. Haha. I really do have one food puppy. She's a tiny Yorkie with a Lab appetite. We're a perfect match. My other Yorkie is like your husband; he's skinny and only eats as much as needed.
      It's not ok for me to have a little sugar, salt, oil, or flour. Once I sat listening to a plant doc talk, can't remember which one. He was saying nobody eats a bowl of sugar, while I was sitting there eating a bowl of brown sugar. I knew then that I had to follow your uwl. You call my weight loss vanity, but I call it freedom. For the first time since age 12, I'm not obsessed with food, anorexic, or bulimic.

    Came across this today...so glad I did! Met you at vegfest years ago in Colorado... you were wearing either fruit or veggie earrings! I know your program works because my jaw dropped when I saw you on here!!!!! You were a lot heavier back then! You look amazing!!!!! Wow! I will def be looking into this program!!!!!     We need to keep hearing it Chef! Food addiction is real & temptations keep creeping back. I'm doing my best to keep it out if my house but my biggest problem is getting addicting foods @ food bank. They keep passing out boxes of raisins & boxed cereal.

    Keep up the broadcasts coming! The repetition helps remind me of new food/eating principles involved. Sometimes it takes a while before it "clicks" (took me 10 years to learn how to knit!) in my brain. Have your book "Unprocessed" and look forward to getting the new one when it is published.

    AJ - firstly love the top, really fun and suits you! Second Pleeeease continue with these weekly videos, I find them supremely helpful and supportive. As for repeating the same info - it was one of your esteemed WFPB colleagues who once said about sticking to and repeating the basics - Dr MDougall? In other words, we don't necessarily need new information, just the pertinent info repeated until we finally get it - there is a lot of unconditioning to do of the old mindset around food and eating.     Seriously, AJ?? You ROCK that bikini!! You should definitely not feel shy about wearing it, at all! I do get it, though because I've had 6 kids and after my last one, I lost 80 lbs eating a plant-based diet, so have some loose skin on my stomach, but it's not too bad. I bought TWO bikinis this year and plan to wear them, at the age of 48 (I'll be 49 in July!)! You CAN wear that bikini!! Do it!! You may not feel like it yet, but you HAVE bikini body, now! I'm Jodi, btw. My daughter changed my TH-cam name. :) Thank you so much for all you do!

    Hi Chef AJ! I do enjoy your Weight Loss Wednesday Videos. Thank you for making them. I am a huge TH-cam watcher. I found you through the video you did with Jill McKeever. I have been plant based for over a year now. At first I lost 20 pounds, and then stopped losing. I have several illnesses and need to loss weight. I am going to try giving up nuts now. I don't have trouble with giving up sugar, but oil (French fries) and salt are my weakness. I can replace ff with oven fries (no oil) at home. I am going to get your book "unprocessed" soon so I can learn more. I am going through all your videos here on TH-cam now. Thanks again I am learning so much! ( :

My husband and I recently got back from a month in Sarasota, FL and we can both tell you we saw teenagers who didn't look that good in a bikini! You are truly a beautiful woman inside and out!     Please continue AJ, we need the support when the world is so averse to healthy eating!!! And baby, looking like you do you should be PROUD to wear a bikini! Have you not been to the beach lately and see the kind of things that get exposed? You are the bomb woman, you got it, you can flaunt it! I was well over 300 lbs most of my life, finally lost most of it 5 years ago at 60 and my skin looks like it melted, but like you, surgery is OUT! Just happy to not be carrying around 2 people and feeling better than I can remember. I recently FINALLY managed to wean off anti depressants after 15 years, ugh! Thank goodness for the internet or I never would have succeeded. I also lost a child, but mine was 40. Lots of challenges, but we have to find the joy! Thanks for all you do, you are such an inspiration! Love and hugs, virtual though they may be, I hope to get to meet you some day if the sky opens up and spills pennies from heaven!

    I hope you will keep doing these. I am 100 lbs overweight and made the switch to vegan a year ago but have not lost the weight I thought I would and listening to you is helping me understand why. I have been doing this all wrong for weight loss!! One recipe I make every week is your red lentil chili, should I not make this or omit half or all of the dates to promote better weight loss? Please keep these videos coming.

I have lost 25lbs so far and have 100lbs to go. Baked potatoes for breakfast is my thing.... rice and beans for lunch and dinner is AWESOME! !

    I just found you, and currently I am going through each and every video. I think I am learning a lot with each one. I am an Atkins failure, I just cannot do all that meat and cheese when my body clearly wants carbs. I have a lot of weight to lose, and I am going to try and work this program.

    My biggest worry about losing all the weight I need to (and WILL lose), is the excess skin I know I will have, as I have been overweight since the age of about the age of 7 (I'm 41 this year).

      *****​ no way!!! I want to be fit and healthy, I don't care about loose skin or stretch marks anymore - I want to live a long healthy life! I guess it would be a bonus if some of that skin would bounce back to a reasonable level 😉

    Chef AJ you are amazing. I hope people are smart enough to consult with you. (I'm too cheap for that unfortunately.) I did buy the Instant Pot using AJ coupon code direct from Instant Pot though for whatever that's worth. Otherwise I just take advantage. But still I hope the world knows how useful your overall impact is and that everyone that can afford your services does use your program because it can save their lives.     Brava! I applaud you! I sure hope my belly is as smooth when i reach my ideal weight! Since 2007 i've had to learn to live with two SAD eaters. They always have CRAP in the house. I've learned to look at the pretezels, popcorn, chips, bread, cake, candy et cetera and use Spud-Fit-Andrew's strategy - that i can have it if i want it, yet before i even consider making a move toward the cupboard i will first eat my pound of awesome salad, and my pound of tasty broccoli with black beans and sweet potato, and my apple/cherry cobbler (simply the fruit, cinnamon and cooked oat groats). After all of that food i forget all about the CRAP food. Not only that, i have an arsenal of WFPB assistance and all the motivation i can
    handle watching WLW :) [excellent as always Chef AJ - and getting closer to catching up!] Also - when will you do a water-only fast with Dr. G to kick that asthma to the curb??

    I like hearing your videos every week. I feel i always need a refresher and almost every one of your videos helps me learn something new each time!... I've eliminated tahini from my humus and now im trying to work on having vegetables for breakfast instead of fruit.

    I like your videos! I just started looking into vegan eating and I'm glade I found your videos. I was wondering, what if someone doesn't like eating a large bulk of food? I can't really eat a whole platter of food, but I still feel hungry all day long unless I eat a little bit of something like nuts or avocado. Should I still just cut those foods out and just eat smaller plates of food all day long? I can't really do that at work.

    I am really enjoying this series. I watch it when on the treadmill. BTW, I'm Italian and my mother never added sugar to her tomato sauce. She added basil, preferably fresh. But even dried basil adds a nice sweetness to it.

    Rockin’ body my friend. The combination of abstinence from sugar, salt, oil, and flour to treat my processed food addiction, along with a plant based diet makes the UWL program a great fit for me. I also find the term “processed food addiction” to be empowering. It’s much easier to abstain from processed foods than to dig around in my childhood memories searching for the source crazy food behavior.
    I find the promotion of “healthy oil” to be super annoying. When I think of all of the herbivores on the planet like horses, deer, elephants, rabbits, mountain goats, giraffes, hippopotamuses, and elephants - none of them need to add olive oil or avocado to absorb the nutrients from the plant food they eat. Just because something is true doesn’t make it necessary. Yes, you might absorb a few more nutrients when you eat your kale with a nut, but there are so many nutrients in kale, you are getting plenty either way and the downside of nuts for people who are overweight or have food addictions far outweighs the benefits.

    I have mild IC and I can't eat anything spicy or any vinegars....so have a hard time finding a salad dressing or sauce recipe

      Thank you for everything you do, you have helped me understand alot of things ie bread and dates and eating all I want above the red line. Thanks to you I have tried Kamboucha squash and I found Japanise sweet potatoe, yams and archichokes and oat groats. I am down to my ideal weight and look and feel great. I was 8.5 stones but lesser now I am all nice and lean and people are crying because I dont carry my blubber anymore. I dont eat anyones food I am strictly whole food plant based. When people say about me loosing blubber I just say if you miss it so much you have your own body to stick that fat on if your missing mine. Love your work and love you too your great. Yaaay we got to see Kenny too :)
