I think this Is absolutely the perfect description of papillons. As an owner of this breed that Is not at all known in my country I got to know these aspects in person... One thing I would like to add. My papillon sometimes looks more like a killer than an Angel 😅
Flies! Yes, if there's a fly in the house, it will lit be a tasty morsel sooner rather than later! I believe this is one why they were prized as court dogs during the French Renaissance. Not only were they tiny and unobtrusive, they kept the flies at bay during the elaborate banquets! Their reward was the occasional morsel that was dropped on the banquet floor, which they kept pristeen! By the way, I had the "cleanest" kitchen floor in town! Miss my MacBye.
Watch out for designer dog breeders or any others. A relative has a beautiful little Papillion X Miniature Aussie Sheperd. She was obviously badly beaten as a pup and tolerates but won't let men touch her. She was picked up by friends living closer to the breeders. My relative then drove to a waypoint to meet the friends and her little new puppy. She then stayed in a hotel overnight on the way home. The puppy was obviously very frightened and aloof.

100% papillon
So true lol
They can be agility championsl
You just have to clean their britches when they poop on them. It's just part of being a pap parent.
