One thing I know is that chihuahuas are not for kids. Kids tends to harassed chihuahuas too much and chihuahuas will get aggressive and bite them.

The Chihuahua is the only dog breed that is considered natural in size and a pure breed unchanged . The other breeds have been breed to be small but the chihuahua has a natural small size genetically. It was known that these little dogs were in Chihuahua packs in the wild in Mexico I would have loved to see these little wolf like dogs.

I hate them and love them so much. But honestly I will argue that they are the best guard dogs ever. Anyone walking by the house will get an immediate barking/talking to lol

I rescued my jack russel when he was 2, he past away an old man at 21 last year. He was truly an amazing dog, He was protective with the family and his beagle brothers.we miss our boy daily❤❤

my aussie (almost 2) has 1 quirk...if his feet are dirty he walks in the house and waits in the kitchen till we clean his feet. other than that he is almost lazy. He is a great dog and he plays with my mutt. he will also walk off leash but you can tell when he is about to break his heel... seems like he is getting doggie add.. then i say "hey" he looks at me like and tries to look innocent.. If my husband runs towards him and howls.. he howls back but my mutt does that too.. she is part alaskan malamute so yes she howls too.. lol We are getting a mini aussie today if they all get along i was told they are nuts after his shots we will take him everywhere with us and he will be trained as well as the other 2 dogs.

I own an Aussie since I’m 11 years old, I’m 19 now, so we have him since 8 years. He is the sweetest boy ever, he has never destroyed anything and basically never barks. He train a lot and walk a lot too, but I would say not more than I would walk with a different breed. Maybe that correlates so him being a Show Line aussie. He truly is the cutest bean and I love him so much. He also never tried to herd something. He ist the best and i hope he is happy with the life we give him. 🐶

My papillon is 14.5 years old. He’s slowed down but still loves to chase his squeaky toys. He doesn’t have very many teeth but he’s a happy. I’m going to be one very sad human when he goes over the rainbow bridge . I’d have another in a second, but I’m thinking maybe a short haired dog might be better for my lifestyle. I just don’t want to think about it to much.

I've had two Jacks so far, and the male I have now is just the biggest ham, when you take him in the stores he allowed to go into. He watches TV, and sings to the radio in the car, or the Semi. My last one, a female, when we were out on the Mississippi river, every time we hit the shore, she would jump off and go dig up a dead fish, then roll in it, EVERY TIME. So the dog shampoo stayed in the boat. She was the sweetest dog I've ever owned, smartest one too. I'd walk around the house with her hanging off the tug of war rope, snarling. Great Breed, but they can shed you a throw rug in about an hour.

this vid is pretty dead on. they are smart as hell. stubborn. but when they want something bad enough, u can train them to do things. my jack knows alot of tricks, his left right up down. tuaght him to walk on his hind legs and do little spins lol. hard to have him around other animals. but i got mine when he was 3 yrs old with zero training. it was ruff at first but 2 years later he is a good dog. still has problems. but not the same dog we got 2 years ago either. He has bitten me and my girl both a few times. few were bad too. but i think the first owners really messed him up. Now, he is a good dog. wouldnt bite either of us. but we also trainned him walk him every day. if we had him as a puppy, he would be a perfect dog. BUT you have to be a good owner and put in the work. and its alot. if u cant walk ten miles a day, not the dog for you!

Me n my jack HIKE 7 to 15 miles almost every day. even on our days off we walk atleast a mile. we do a mile every day when we wake up, then go to the hiking trails later. He loves it, and is a good boy most of the time! lol Never off leash though. he is always hunting

I never get tired of my mini aussie greeting me when I get home, he curls up into a complete u shape and furiously wiggling his butt while making strange whines/moans and playing a bit of "catch me if you can," I love it. If I don't pat his butt or ignore him while doing this he might even let out a bark as if saying "don't ignore me!" The poor boy does have issues with hip dysplasia and he had FHO surgery on one side a couple of years ago. I still take him on plenty of walks and the occasional swim, but for his health he can't play frisbee, and he loves frisbee and is good at it but the jumping might be too much for his joints now at 6 years old, so I opt for rolling a tennis ball across the yard for him to fetch. Other than that he is a massive velcro dog, very anxious, and gets easily spooked, especially with things like fireworks. He refuses to go outside to potty if he even smells fireworks in the air or hears them even if they're relatively distant. He's also a massive drama queen and every time I take him out the front door while leashed, he will start screaming like he's being killed or something as I'm trying to lock the door. Very weird dog but I'll definitely get another once mine is at old age to accompany him in his final years.

I am breeding corgis for more than 13 years, I have six of my own. My dogs are fully trained, and disciplined but they need exercise and lots of exercise. So we go down to the beach. A tip before you buy a corgi, research the breeder, see if the breeder has a history of selling puppies which has hip displasia problems, if there is search for another breeder.

They say all dogs descend from wolves, but im convinced chihuahuas descend from the rat

My first dog was a Border Collie and he was so easy to train it was unbelievable. He made me fall in love with the breed and although I've had other breeds since then I've never been without a Collie and I never will as long as I have strength in my legs. They're such an outstanding breed that they make it hard not to feel a little smug knowing that they're smarter than any dog you meet 😂. But you have to have the dedication to physically and mentally stimulate them with around 2 hours exercise per day, off leash. They're recall is amazing though. I'd definitely recommend them for a first time owner as long as you know that you can provide the type of exercise I mentioned.

Omg all these wonderful comments about JRT 's. I adopted a senior girl last year and she is the subshine in my day. Love is not strong enough to described how I feel about her. We bonded straight away and she has been loyal from day one. So clever and intelligent, kind and sweet natured. Best decision I every made. ❤️ ❤❤❤

Well, many of the things you have talked about are referred to all dogs. They all need to go to the vet, to be groomed etc. I cannot be happier with my Toy Poodle, and he never barks, by the way. He is the solution against sedentarism. I am convinced my health is improving because of him!

My 1st small dog, I trained her from day 1. She's the the best. They do like 2 yap but with training u can ease itt.

Love this, always tell folks that a Corgi is not (ski terms) NOT a green run dog - more blue or black. You have a corgi that wants more than a walk a day or a backyard? Get out and realize the energy - it is fun and crazy. We are in a condo with two corgis who expect treats all the time. It does not happen. We treat when we treat. Corgi memory, we walk past (they remember) the valets that treat and drags to that spot. -Our younger does FCat and Agility with passion. Older, rescue, wants food! (we rescued at 44lb - now a healthy 34lb!)

I have had 3 Jack Russell and never experienced most of these traits. Only one of them was territorial of her home and she would escape when you opened the door to lead you on a chase. They are wonderful dogs and make great companions. All of mine loved to ride in the car as long you weren't headed to the vets office. None ever tried to escape from the fenced in lot. Two of them were lap dogs. The alpha female did not get along well other female dogs but acted like street whore around males. They were all rescues are very good at training people. The last one(the alpha female) lived to be 17. I miss all of them.
