This showcase was boring AF. XBOX is the savior of game showcases. I put Nintendo Direct in it too. Because in 90% of all cases, they show interesting games. My ps2 has better games, waaaaaay better games then the ps5 or the ps4 will ever have.

The KsthleenKennedy SouthPark meme has become a widespread reality. The viet cong displayed how an 80 pound woman could be a fierce grimmreaper with guns & traps. Hand to hand combat / swords is a whole different ballgame. Oh well, its for the modern audience now anyways. Will catch it on a deep sale or disc rental.
I saw what I wanted: Monster Hunter Wilds and Dynasty Warriors Origins release dates. Also, Ghost of Yotei. It takes place long after the Tsushima time period.
Honestly, of everything shown, I’m most excited for the Lunar remastered collection. The first two Lunar games are two of the best JRPGs ever made, so it’s awesome that I’ll finally get to play them on Xbox.
I was pleased with the results. 9/10. It covered all the bases. 1st 2nd and 3rd party. Also PSVR2. Everything wasn’t for me but then again it’s not supposed to be. We gamers aren’t monolithic. The anti woke crowd are started to become a bigger nuisance. (if that’s possible)
the PS community does not care about "roadmaps". PS is showing games to be release on the 12-18mo windows, they were burned with the TLoU 2 delays and learned from it. No point in roadmaps for 4-6y relase game, just a waste of hype. I care of the release game not the showcase of future games that ill be release on 4y at best
I guess I’m the only one that thought the state of play was decent. I think most of the time you all have way to unrealistic expectations, and spend way too much time on here seeing others rediculous predictions. When you compare this state of play with all the others in the last 4 years, it was a good show in my opinion. If you were expecting to get your socks blown off, that might not be necessarily Sonys fault….i still say the ps5 “pro” is straight trash, not this state of play. The only thing good about the pro is that maybe now some will start to use the series x more.

The state of play was actually good, unlike xbox playstation doesn’t show their games 5 years early with no release year (perfect dark, fable, ES6, ) this just gives the illusion that xbox has a lot and playstation has nothing. Thats why people thought xbox had this year for granted just to end with less games
