99 % of console players don't care about two dropped frames and medium quality shadows.
PS5 looks great tbh. More like Very High settings most of the time (which many PC versions prove in comparisons, or it is a more balanced mix between ultra , high and very high). Means it is enough for most people. It needs so much more power to get small improvements, that it doesn´t really matter compared to XSX. Means in reality the improvements in some games are pixel peeping. Same thing with PC vs Console... (for the casual user it is more than enough).
I play the ps5 on a 1080p screen and performance mode. For me it's enough.
Medium shadows is standard for me on pc, shadows have too huge performance hit to be worth going higher.

@@OTPulse I'd say the 360 was pretty successful. The problem with fanboys is they want to just got off of console sales alone but that doesn't tell the whole story.
@Spartan_83 Did good in the USA. That's it. A success, kind of a stretch. The whole new player to the game is a pure cope. Microsoft is literally the biggest computer software company in the world and sold less than 25% of Sony's debut console . The Sony software department was minuscule in comparison, and their hardware had almost nothing to do with Computers at that point in time.
Xbox should have launched as some type of TV PC box like the Steam Machines was, but have a unique Xbox shop front that sells games specifically optimised for its hardware + controller, but also allow PC games to run either via paid unlock or menu option(be off by default). I would have purchased that for sure. It probably would have secured the PC game market as well.
@@OTPulse the PS3 only beat it out by a few million and after it went out of production. The 360 would also get more of the profit sold in the US then it would if sold over seas.

@@zef9151 agreed
It was 11 years ago and most people on the market aren't even aware of what E3 is let alone knowing how their E3 2013 went down. It is about lack of presence and not creating any meaningful exclusives that have global appeal. Xbox's demise was due to trend chasing with Kinect during 360's second half. Instead of investing in first-party studios, they just wanted to sell a shitty accessory.
@@SungurEge that makes sense too

I believe the biggest reason is the Xbox uses virtual machines throughout the OS. The dashboard runs in a virtual machine. Every game runs in a virtual machine. All the apps run in a virtual machine. And there are 2 main reasons: 1) Microsoft does not want the system to ever be compromised and hacked (no modding scene on a Series console) and 2) by having everything run in a virtual machine, you have scenarios like being able to instantly jump from game to game. Game states are saved in the virtual machine. If you do a true restart of the machine and only run one game, you'll notice that the performance will be more consistent. I think this is because of memory leaks but moreso because resources are freed up more cleanly. the PS5 doesn't use virtual machines. It's more singular.
You can literally use app to watch free movies on the Xbox 😂 and free wallpapers so I don’t think that’s the reason lol
@@lapatabelluda2240 apps run at a high level. no app is allowed low level access to the Xbox hardware. watching movies or looking at wallpapers is not modding. maybe you're too young to know what a modded console is.

The lack of exclusives killed Xbox hardware's ability to sell like Nintendo and Sony. With 100% of all Xbox games being playable on PC (or xcloud on smartphones and weaker PCs), there's less reason than ever before to choose an Xbox as your console over a Playstation/Nintendo console
And now their porting the few good exclusives that they got to ps5, so I ain't got a clue at what they are thinking.
What does sales of a console have to do with with the actual performance of the actual hardware?
@@StarkZaku wrong question. The right question to ask is “what does the power of a console have to do with sales”. And the answer would be: not a whole lot. The PS4 is the only time “the more powerful” platform won the generation, and it wasn’t because of its power at all; it was because of the countless exclusives you couldn’t get on XB1. Xbox One’s exclusives from 2013 to 2016 were nowhere-near the system-selling behemoths that the PS4 was getting, and then Microsoft announced in 2016 that from thereon out, all Xbox games would also be on PC. It’s no wonder why Xbox’s revenue has stayed high but XB1/XBS console sales have been circling the drain.

B. Your answer didnt fit my question so you thought my question was wrong (it wasnt)
Lets try this again
What does sales of a console have to do with the actual performance of the actual hardware.
Because they choose to focus on overall gaming rather than just straight exclusives. I don't think they really care so much about the xbox as a hardware platform much since they've been moving to be more of publisher/cloud gaming platform and the hardware itself is just there as a accessible way to play those games. I can't blame them for backing off on the console because it's kind of a loss if you go even midrange custom hardware at the beginning of the generation.
I kind of agree with Linus over at LTT that Microsoft should go all in and just do a "other os" style and allow every xbox to essentially turn into a full fledged pc. The steam deck is showing that a game mode and a desktop mode is kind of a really nice way of handling things. Honestly what I thought was going to happen when the series designation was announced initially
I don't think some of the people who watch DF realise that the majority of consumers don't care about the specs of a console and don't buy one purely based on a few extra frames here and there or extra detail that you would only notice if you are sitting a few centimeters away from the screen and are comparing them side by side. I think the bigger issue is why people think specs are the be all and end all of why a system is "superior". It's great having analysis videos to see how a game works but most of the people buying games don't care as long as they have fun.
And the proof of that is that series s vastly outsells series x by 4 times or so.
This and the fact that libraries (games) cannot be transferred to another ecosystem. I won't buy again the dozens of games that I have in my backlog.
The truth is ps5 is better at some stuff and Xbox is better at some stuff. The compute units in ps5 are different than Xbox

Sir, I just finished my 12 hours shift. Let me argue for my favorite big company in peace.
PS2 had inferior specs, ps3 had technically better specs but also worse at the same time, the PS5 has inferior specs yet every single generation PlayStation is outselling Xbox with ease without barely trying.
It’s not about specs, it’s about the quality of the product, Sony has simply made PlayStation a more popular household name than what Microsoft has done for Xbox.
That's why Microsoft made strong decision to go after all developers as possible to corner the market. Some call it cheating, but as a nintendoman it doesn't bother me one bit. Kinda loving the fight for sloppy second, while nintendo get it all!!!peace out
Its not even about quality of products its about the brand power from previous generations
If you looking at what the 1st party studios put out. Xbox has had far more variety and new releases but doesnt have that Ragnarok title that stands above everything
While PS has had Spiderman remaster, Last of us 1/2 remasters, Demon Souls remake, Death Stranding, Ghost of Tsushima update
Its Astros Playroom, Forbidden West, Spiderman Miles and 2, Ragnarok, Rift Apart, Returnal and now Helldivers 2. Stellar Blade
But Xbox had Gears Tactics, Hivebusters, Flight Sim, Age 4, Forza Horizon 5, HI-Fi Rush(RIP Tango), Deathloop, Starfield, Psychonauts 2, Ghostwire Tokyo, Hellblade 2, Pentiment, Grounded but also launched Halo Infinite as a failed live service but good enough normal game as the reviews still show to this day and the disaster of Redfail
Then also supporting the live service games such as ESO, State of Decay 2 updates, Sea of Thieves
Yeah its not the games because Xbox has had far more games that were good to very good. Just no Ragnarok, its really Sony paying to keep the games like Final Fantasy off other platforms that makes them attractive
But then again, the most played games on PS 2 of them are now an Xbox owned game with the other being EA sports titles and Fortnite
This is true however series X is definitely ms best console since the original.
@@laker2020 Their strategy is basically to become the biggest third party publisher in the industry, Xbox barely has any exclusives from Bethesda and they just ported Hifi rush over to the PS5, cod will still remain multiplat and future Nintendo consoles will also have cod just like the Wii. Phil Spencer also confirmed that they have a new wave of first party Xbox titles coming to other platforms.
Basically they are letting everyone do their thing but just under Microsoft’s umbrella.
That’s not entirely correct. Playstation had a 7 year head start over Xbox. And when Xbox launched, it focused only on developed nations because of its advanced graphics, online connectivity, and high price. PS2 had the advantage of established brand, cheaper price, and wider market penetration because it had already released in so many countries where internet was not a readily available commodity. That’s why PS is so popular in the majority of the world over Xbox. Xbox was just never present in 3rd world countries. Pair all that with nostalgia from all the people who had played PS1 and you have the reasons why PS was destined to be a leading brand.
Variable clockspeeds is better so devs can focus on your or cpu. Likewise having a dedicated GPU core for audio processing as well as dedicated chip for decompression and shader compilation takes load off the cpu
Um, you do know that the Series X also has dedicated silicon for audio and decompression, right? There are efficiencies in the design of the PS5, but the two you mentioned are not it. Also, the variable clock speed comment, that makes zero sense. With Series hardware you have clocks that don't waver, at all, you can focus your code with the knowledge that you are only getting 3.6 or 3.8Ghz on the CPU depending on if you use SMT or not.
@@davidandrew6855 can you tell me where the xbox does decompression?
@@Rubik43 I can't, I didn't design the hardware. Yet it has been specified by Microsoft and verified by 3rd parties that the system has hardware decompression that can hit 6Gb of sustained data per second, more than the NVME is able to do with compression.
_"Our second component is a high-speed hardware decompression block that can deliver over 6GB/s," reveals Andrew Goossen. "This is a dedicated silicon block that offloads decompression work from the CPU and is matched to the SSD so that decompression is never a bottleneck. "_ via interview with Digital Foundry and Richard Ledbetter and posted on Eurogamer
@@davidandrew6855 hard time to find the article but tysm.
however your comment on the variable frequency of the CPU is excessively critical, even on PS5 you don't need to waver about the frequency, when it's needed it uses it all, it's when it's not needed that it does its magic and saves resources and heat for the gpu.
@@Rubik43 I don't think variable clockspeeds is a benefit at all on console. I think this was done in part because Sony needed to push the silicon hard to make up some ground, as I'm betting the rumor of PS5 being a 9.2TF part at launch was accurate. That Would have been a 30% difference in GPU performance, and I Sony certainly didn't want that much of a gap.
Basically what the PS5 is doing is AMD Smartshift found in laptops with AMD CPUs and GPUs. I've read comments from developers that state they prefer the static GPU/CPU clocks, but I'm doubtful there is much of a big deal, either way.

DF have always favoured XBOX over ps5 even though the ps5 has literally DOG WALKED the Xbox this entire generation
I play games on the Switch, PS5, and sometimes on PC. For me it's about comfort, I work at an office desk on a computer all day. When I get home and want to game, I like sitting in my recliner or on the couch. I'd prefer not to sit in my computer chair if i can. I'll play on PC if I can't play the game on console, like PalWorld for example. So it's a little bit about exclusives too. PlayStation tends to have the games I want, so I haven't invested in an Xbox yet. To me, all the PC bells and whistles are icing on the cake, not necessary. I mean many games on Switch runs at 30fps, so I don't mind other games that do.
Many casual gamers only want to chose/purchase one platform and a $500 console is the cheapest way to play the new AAA games .
That used to be like that in the past, but now you can easily use a PC on a TV and a gamepad, and you have Steam's Big Picture mode to simulate being a console. You also have Steam Deck as a portable alternative. Though still neither are 100% plug n play like consoles, they're getting closer.

Honestly as a game dev Xbox is just slowly becoming a dead platform, it sells less than half of the console units than Playstation and a lot lot lot less than Nintendo (switch)
and most of the people who still buy Xbox, they buy it as cheap game pass machine, they have been trained by Microsoft to think they only need to pay for game pass and they can play a lot of games, no need to actually buy games...
Game sales in the Xbox store are terrible for anything outside of big blockbuster games like GTA, CoD, Fifa etc and thats why a lot of smaller devs either wont even consider porting to Xbox or they will just do it quickly with minimal effort, because its not worth spending months optimizing your game for Xbox when the potencial sales are very low and you can sell like 10x copies on PS4/PS5 or Switch or even on Steam (PC)
The only way smaller devs can make money on Xbox is if they partner with Microsoft and they pay money to put your game in game pass, but even those contracts dont really pay a lot unless your game is already sucessful on other platforms and MS is willing to cash out more to get it into game pass.
Oh and about the Xbox Series X, its minor power advantage is useless against the PS5, because about 80% of the Xbox sales are the Series S which is a lot less powerful.
That makes it so that only a very small group of people play on Series X and that cannot justify devs to spend extended amount of time to optimize for it.
What they actually need time for is making sure that the game can run on the Series S, because it has less memory and a lot weaker gpu.
All that for a company you don't care about. Smh. Even if what you say is true. You losing sleep and money? Xbox ain't going nowhere. Stop that dumb narrative. People been saying since 360.
@@slushbrain8495 Your name is very appropriate

A big thing here that was just briefly talked about is that PS5 is the lead development platform for most developers. The amount of testing and porting budgets the console versions get is often 60/40 or 70/30 to PS5 over Xbox, and then the Xbox part is also split into two for the Series X and S. The focus split is likely very often 60/25/15 between PS5/XSX/XSS.
This just boost everything else that DF talked about here. Xbox's shortcomings become larger and Xbox's perks become smaller.
Apart from split SKUs they also split the ram. They like to split things huh.
Thing is everything is on them MS. I mean from split SKUs to split ram to poorly manage their flagship titles. I don't see how they can win this race tbh.
The two SKUs though are a big (problem) one I guess. Game developers were against them since day zero. They also warned us since day-zero how Series S is gonna be a problem in game development but MS is continuing to feed their consumers the false narrative. So what you do is what you get I suppose.
@@mathburn1 I find it odd how people claim having multiple SKUs is bad, yet PC games have no issues dealing with literally countless SKUs. It's a skill issue, plain and simple
@@halofreak1990 It needs to be playable at a reasonable performance on console since graphics settings aren't there. Sometimes they need lower than low on consoles and console players can't do that.
Did you try Alan Wake 2 on PC? I have a Ryzen 3600 + RTX 2070super, roughly a PS5 or Series X in terms of performance and I can't even play the game in peace even if a DLSS performance - ultra performance turned on on a 1440p monitor.
This doesn't even take a cheap ass low Series S bandwidth into account. That thing is truly the source of the problem.
@@mathburn1you just explained exactly why its a dev issue and not a console issue. If a 3600/rtx 2070 super combo is struggling that hard to run this game, which a lot of games from these mid to AAA studios are doing the same thing, then its an issue on the devs part. Games just 4 years ago had an even range with consoles vs an 800 to 1000 dollar system. Nowadays even systems made with 1500 dollars in mind are struggling to hit the same specs as the consoles is wild. Definitely some foul play at work.
@@StarkZaku They're an artist in a way so they have their own vision to pursue. In a lot of cases their vision tends to push hw to the limit so I'm not denying that it's not a dev issue but it's also a HW issue too. If the HW can't keep up to their vision who's gonna be blamed? Developer or a HW? It's basically both.
It's not like a lazy dev narrative but they just see a PS5 and Series X as their primary platforms. It's a next gen of course they expect HW to be far different from last gen in terms of performance which we cannot say that to Series S. So that leads to this very issue.
They basically design their game around PS5 and Series X and somehow MS policy forces them to have a Series S version of the game that must be no different than Series X or they can't release their game to Xbox platform at all. The problem is Series S CPU and memory is a downgrade from Series X. The memory though is a huge downgrade in terms of capacity and bandwidth. I'm a sw dev myself and I can say that in terms of downscale a sw if it's something related to CPU and memory it's a big big issue that requires a lot of time and a lot of things to modify. So yes to many dev eyes they see Series S as a problem that drags the ease of development down and an obstacle to the vision they pursue.

Given the realism of facial mocap in the game L.A. Noire, why does the modern video game character still suffer from uncanny valley in terms of lip movement and expressions? With the rig on Metahumans being fairly pliable and mocap coming a long way since (not to mention cheaper), I would expect nothing short of similar quality. Even the Senua games, which are excellent examples, still trigger my lip reading and expression senses.
You want simple answer? They all have contracts with amd, nvidia, Intel... So they bump up requirements of video game even when they don't need it...
Games should be easy to develop with current tech but they take more time because they want to bleed investment money... 😅 We saw this with cyberpunk 2077 how investors were fed up and forced them to launch unfinished game...
For example, search for cyberpunk 2077 running on 4ram pc and you'll get videos of it doing 40fps at 720p medium... Same goes to all video games but they say you need minimum 6gb or 8gb which is complete joke..
I've said this, crysis 3 facial animation looks better than anything ubisoft does and crysis 3 was on ps3 and it did all the foliage, grass, forest groagics we see on current gen 11 years ago... 😂

@Dairunt1 the switch is a strange console since it's in a generation of its own but the ps4, Xbox 1x and wii u all came out around the same time and the ps4 was widely more powerful and more successful than all of them.
Technically, the ps3 was considerably more powerful than the Xbox but wasn't really utilized appropriately because it was difficult to develop for and ended up being more successful than the Xbox
@@scottdove7358 The PS2 was the most powerful of its generation too. Maybe not on paper but it was able to out perform the OG Xbox for the few coders who knew what they were doing.

I went with the PS5 first, as I am a Playstation fan since the PS1.
Had my first experiences with an XBox on the XBox 360 at a friends house, that were great memories for me too.
But now that I got a XBox Series X beside my PS5 I must say, when it comes to the exclusives, Sony is definetly the winner, can't compare it with the current ones that Microsoft offers.
But still, Microsoft just does the better job with backwards compatibility, putting old games into your XBox and being able to play them on one single device is amazing.
Plus the ability to use Dev Mode on the XBox makes it an amazing emulation device too.
No need to wait until the console gets exploidable, to actually do this kinda stuff, and sacrificing online play capabilities.
It fits more my usecases of what I expect from a console, without needing a PC to do this.
In the end of the day, people should decide what they want from a console, and choose it dependend on what is more useful for them.
When you don't care about backwards compatibility, or emulation and are more focused on good exclusives, then get a Playstation.
Crossplay gave us more freedom for online play too, it doesn't matter most of the time where you play these days, or what console your friends are playing on, things have changed over the years.
I own both the PS5 and XBox Series X and agree that the Series X does the better job with the backwards compatibility for older games which look and play amazing.

The fact is half the things that he said on stage at the PS5's reveal was either complete BS or was over exaggerating and over embellishing one of it's features.
I'm not even going to get onto his claims of the PS5's 8K capabilities or rather the lack of. As that has been covered far too much over the past few weeks.
It has nothing to do with performance. It all has to do with Sony investing in AAA story driven exclusives that give their console an identity. Xbox has always been the shooter/multiplayer lovers console. Playstation is where you went to get Uncharted, God of War etc. That to me sways a lot of gamers especially older gamers.
Didn't game devs had to implicate a feature that the Xbox came with to boosting performance etc. and devs didn't want to.
If sales are projected to be better on platform A then engineering effort is put on to make it better on A. Simple as that. Technical reasons are secondary.
Not necessarily true, that varies on devs. Is speculation, ps5 is better than series x in its own way by being more efficient

I remember everyone said the ps5 was 9 teraflops overclocked to 10 and the series x was a steady 12. None of it actually mattered.
I remember reading system specs for both consoles, and I still can't imagine what it must have been like for Sony and MS to learn that they both have practically the same SoC under the hood. And the fact that AMD got them both is pretty badass. It's really neat to see the performance differences between the two consoles, because for the first time, we get to see the thought processes between how MS and Sony would optimize the same hardware.
Sony has Mark Cerny. That man is a genius
Yeah, I think he and his team have made a huge difference.
I would say yes he is smart but its a different approach
PS designed their console, apis to max out the PS5 and PS5 only needing to get specialized PC developers in to port their games years after release
Xboxt, they lose to PS5 which in most cases is negligible but they have designed their tools to be able to ship PC day and date with the console release for windows store/gamepass app and Steam
Which one is smarter, both are because both are targeting different goals. One is trying to maximize consoles only, the other is targeting a multiplatform approach
@@imo098765 it's the way mark designed the SSD with marvell technologies the ps5 has a slower CPU compared to the series X but the ps5 CPU has far less overheard compared to the series X because of the Titania 2 SSD controller leaving more CPU resources open for Devs to use them on things that actually need them whilst the SSD controller handles the more intensive stuff

@@majorasspain5341 The PS5 CPU is marginally slower in clock speed, like 3% when using SMT. The overhead for the Series hardware has been mitigated *IF* one uses the DS ability of the console. Effectively you are taking I/O overhead down to 1/10th of a CPU core, so IMO, when both are utilized correctly the overhead issues is moot.
Now that doesn't mean I think the SSD in the Series X is just as fast, we know it isn't, but I/O overhead should be a non-issue in a game designed to the strengths of both consoles. If that isn't happening, the yeah the PS5 would have an advantage.
I think it's pretty simple: the PS4 absolutely destroyed the Xbox One in terms of exclusive IPs, digital distribution really took off, and many chose the PS5 to keep what they've invested in.
In the long-term, MS would absolutely dominate, the console market, with the IPs they now own... that said, there's much more money to be earned as a publisher on all platforms.
I will say this again. Microsoft is a software company that hires technicians to build their console. The difference is that Sony is that technician except that they are the best in the business that money can not buy.
Sony having better engineering and Microsoft trying to compensate for this through brute force seems to be a bit of a trend.
Yup more power on paper isn't always the way
umm playstation 5 is overclock if im not mistaken

Marketing and name recognition/brand loyalty works heavily in Sony's favor. Ps1 adds were way more than saturn adds both in frequency and variety, and it hurt Sega bad in the US. The PS2 beat the Dreamcast before the PS2 even came out. So many players had just made up their minds to back the PS2. It then DOMINATED the generation in spite of being technically inferior to the GameCube and xbox. Although several other factors play into PS5 success the sales techniques and loyalty built up over the last nearly 30 years has helped cement a very solid position in the industry.
Im very happy in the Microsoft ecosystem... Having Game Pass and being able to play both on Xbox and PC with the same game saves is absolutely amazing... Most games are now also cross play enabled... The only thing the PS has is VR and perhaps a better controller
Xbox was destroyed by Microsoft itself. Not the fans, not the gaming studios. Microsoft vision of all these passes and services. Merging tv etc
I talked to a developer and he said a lot of the Xbox features that were supposed to make a huge difference aren’t worth it. The gains weren’t enough to justify using those features.
If the rumors are true and the PS5 gets PS3 disc based backwards compatibility for exclusives the competitive gap would turn into a canyon. I would be absolutely thrilled if I could play PS3 exclusives from disc on PS5 with sharper visuals, 60fps+ and 1080p+ options. That's a MASSIVE system selling feature in my book.

Only problem there is I don’t trust Sony to have quality emulation. Microsoft, for the most part, put real money into the Xbox BC stuff for years. And then you look over at PS5 emulating PS2 and it’s just absolutely terrible
TLDR: Its not just about teraflops...
That is what people had been screaming for years now.
PS5 Pro is going to have around 33 TFlops 3x as much as regular PS5.
And CPU bound games are still going to suffer pretty much the same way...
Most people look at numbers unfortunately and just cant see the overall design of the hardware in its entirety.
Cant wait for the PS5 Pro comming days when framerates are still going to suffer and a bunch of people asking how is that possible with 33 Tflops of POWER!
16.7 actually
@ its a different way of measure. 16,7 tflops on a rdna3-4 system roughly translates to 33.5 tflops in rdna2 (like the ps5 and xboxsx are). This is exactly why teraflops number doesnt matter much anymore because there is different ways to calculate and translate it, and furthermore there are lots of other things that determine a system’s performance. 16,7 x 2 =33,5 as was reported. the numbers are not a coincidence.

I like your video overlay backing layout, nice.
People who were on forums talking to developers who had dev kits, and were making games telling people how easy it was to get your game engines and code running on PS5 had to do with how bare metal the API was. And how efficient in its design the compiler was. This was talked about years ago, but DF keeps coming off like they are just people who like talking about tech, without having any clue down to a metal concept of how the hardware works with software. And how design philosophy from Nintendo and Playstation differ from MS. MS use to do what Sony and Nintendo did, back in xb360/xb days. They had a very easy dx9 xmb that everyone loved using because of how easy the language was for it.
Sony learned from their mistakes from PS3, it has never been easier to make a game.
The specs arent really “inferior” the ps5 was designed to make it easier to optimize and develop for.
It's brand loyalty. Most people play where their digital games and friends are. One thing Phil was actually honest about they lost a generation that was truly crucial.

The performance difference between the two is very small. When the specs were revealed for the systems I knew there wasn’t much of a difference between the two. There’s literally a 18% increase in GPU performance going to the XSS. And developers would probably only be able to take advantage of 7% or so.
Small difference, minor wins, etc etc. No real reason to buy one console over the other for performance. That's the weird thing though, is that the PS5 manages to be the one with the slightly higher performance despite the XSX having the better GPU on paper

I said months before launch that this would happen, still got the tweets. I saw several bottlenecks in the SX that can occasionally hold off the GPU, speed being a major one. The SX is very slow, takes forever to fill those 52 CUs IF u can fill em and keep em busy. Tflop/GPU grunt aint never the full story. The GPU aint even fast enough to keep up with what they CLAIMED the SX's SSD/storage architecture could do. The split memory occasionally holds off the GPU as well.
Part of the problem was people like Colteastwood and Dealer. They don't have any tech knowledge, but they made the Xbox Series X out to be so much better than the PS5, and really all they had to base this off was TFLOP numbers. People need to stop taking the word of corporate shills like them so seriously. Some of their tweets from before launch have been circulating recently, and it's honestly just laughable.

By the time titles are making extensive use of Xbox extra compute power to give a more general advantage in favour of Xbox, PS5 Pro will be with us anyway
