The ground Clearance between the cross and the RAV4 is very similar. However, he said, sitting in a cross is like sitting in a sedan as opposed to sitting higher up in a SUV.
Ground clearance apparently does not translate too well when it comes to step in height or seating height. Sadly car companies don't measure that either they only give us ground clearance
The “just get a RAV-4 for a little bit more” advice is a bit of a stretch. The only way to get the RAV-4 close the price of the CCH, you’d be getting the stripped down model compared to the high end model of the other. The better equipped RAV-4 is going to be closer to $40K.
Yea but RAVs also come with better discounts which help and naturally comes better equipped especially when looking at the lower trims an XLE Premium RAV is more than enough for most families but buy whatever makes you happy.
I've watched quite a few reviews, but no one has mentioned that the infotainment screen sticks up a bit too much. I'm not tall so I wonder if it will interfere with (my) visibility.
I feel like Toyota has caught up with Honda with interior niceness. If you compare a 2013 Toyota Corolla interior with a 2013 Honda Civic interior the civic is way nicer (in my opinion). I think this is a great car. My only real "problem" with the brand is that used Toyotas are going for more than ever before. It almost feels like a luxury to afford a Toyota for the working class unless you go super old now, where as before you could get a 10 year old camry for like $5000.
I just purchased a 2025 Camry on July 2nd. It listed for $39,009 + $1495.00 dealer addendum. I negotiated all the crap off and got mine for $37,210 and got window tint and all weather floor mats and a cargo organizer thrown in. I’m happy but my headliner is ripping apart under the panoramic sunroof so I’m going to my dealer service dept tomorrow.
If the Toyotas of the old days had black interior, it would have helped make it look better. They grey plastic made everything look so cheap. When the Mazda3 was introduced in 2004, it was black so it felt more upscale.
Yea lots of choices not really going wrong with any of them which is a great thing would still try to go up one size but glad to see eco cars have come a long way
What’s big deal about standard awd. I don’t need it. Better to cut of some price. Cheap Toyota with premium price tag. $3K more and you will have rav4. Some guys here on TH-cam tested for week both of them and rav4 hybrid come out with better mpg in real life

Recently bought the cross se. Great little suv. Comfortable and great gas mileage. We are very pleased with it.

@@MeynMotorGroup Good point. I just started looking for a first car for my kid and they want a smaller vehicle. The RAV-4 is bigger than they prefer.

A concern for me too.
No, I am 4'11", and it is fine with me. I have a 2024 Corolla cross hybrid .
I'd be proud to drive it, maybe another color.
@@jeffamburgey7485 true def would like another color on this 😅

Very true old Toyota interiors were pretty bland and gross
What about Mazda niceness? Nope haha

Yo my bro Happy weekend to you and your family 🤝😎👍🏾👍🏾
@@theodoreyoung8777 thank you my friend you as well!
That car doesn’t have a space for a spare tire, what’s that about? I purchased Corolla Cross XLE INSTEAD
Looks nice.
I agree!
Is it push botton and remote start?
If i was shopping for something like this I'd go the Seltos you just reviewed or the CX3, and save some money.

Dang... so many choices in the compact SUV market. But that's a good thing.
Irony, if everyone has an SUV... are you really looking over other cars 😂
@@timw2083 lol exactly need monster trucks at this point 😅
It is about the upright seating position.
More comfortable for people with back problems

Looks like a honda is better than Toyota now after driving a few of both. Hondas build quality beats toyota now
I call this the RAV-3
👊🏾👍🏾👍🏾
Rav4 too big
