For the first time on the channel, we are checking out ‪@judaspriest‬ with their song "Painkiller" live in 2005. They are incredible musicians and their singer has such a unique voice! I did not realize that they were as heavy as that but they definitely knew how to rock! Can't wait to check out more from them! Hope you enjoy! #reaction #judaspriest #robhalford #metalmusic #musician #metal #musicreactions

@@setonhillstudios I had a cousin introduce me to Judas Priest in 1979 with their "Unleashed In The East" album, which was recorded live in Japan while they were still on their "Hell Bent For Leather" tour. It blew me away! Been a big fan ever since. He saw them in 1984 in Atlanta on their "Defender's Of The Faith" tour and again in 1986 on their "Turbo" tour. He said they were the loudest band he'd ever seen!

    Great review, as always.
I know a few people have already answered. The lead singer is Rob Halford. Definitely an excellent singer. He has a four octave range. The drummer is Scott Travis (American). He was with a band called Racer X, with Paul Gilbert. They were more of speed metal type band. He brought that faster drumming to Judas Priest.
The two guitarists are Glenn Tipton and K.K. Downing. They are some of the pioneers of twin guitar. In heavy metal. Both great guitarist.
The bass player is Ian Hill. He is one of the founding members.
The difference in your background. That beautiful Fender Telecaster, is missing.
Keep up the good work!! I enjoy your content.

What's different with your background? There's a guitar missing, to your right.
The musicians certainly have a lot of energy, but...I'm sorry...this is the type of metal music that I used to NOT listen to, because it made me just want to throw things, or crawl in a hole somewhere with good earmuffs over my ears, or sometimes just cry (and not in a good way). Plus there's a very short limit to repetitive measures that I can handle, and this whole thing seems to be repeat, repeat, repeat.
Sorry, Steven...you can have all of this one you want...but...I'm outta here. I didn't have a headache when I started up the video, but now I do...again...sorry...
