Dude, how can you call yourself "Mr Rock n Roll" and never have listened to Priest?
R Lepidi was just about to write the same thing when i seen yours.
I said the same thing
Exactly!
He's got to be full of shite imo.
because he is a milenial fashionist
Probably the most complete metal song of all time.
Nico Olaya Absolutely 100% true
No... SURELY!!!!!!
Fabien L'amour - Yes, and don’t call me Shirley!
@@iestyndavies7287 Not Shirley.... Surely or absolutly or no doubt about that or Que sais-je encore?

*Neighbors hearing his reactions*
"Ah, yes. He must be reacting to Painkiller. I remember my first time..."
lmao
Love this comment 👌👍😂
Yesss😂🤘💯
😂
This should be on the top
Painkiller is the best metal song in history!
NO FUCKING DOUBT!!!!!!
I agree! This song is just perfect!
hallowed be thy name?
NEM comes nowhere close to this, I don’t even think this is the greatest metal song but maiden definitely did not write a song close to this
I mean't many would consider _Hallowed be thy name_ (1982) the greatest heavy metal song of all time. Released 8 years before _painkiller_ it influenced many to come after. Sure it's not as heavy or fast but still qualify's. Besides both songs are great and it would be hard to choose as they are both very different....just saying.
The vocalist, Rob Halford, is known to be called the Metal God for a good reason😁
Absolutly!!!!
Yeah do you remember that MTV spoof like 15 years ago when sum 41 and tommy lee did shout at the devil and Rob just came out like a goddamn god LOL....Obviously it was rehearsed but as i remember i hadnt seen Rob in awhile before that and i literally praised the metal god :)
@@fabienlamour3644 trick question Lemmy is god
@@baconslap9417 Don't know.Never like them. You heard one tune you heard it all. But it's just my opinion.
@@fabienlamour3644 trve I respect your right to your own opinion but I disagree
Painkiller, one of the best metal albums of all time. PERIOD!
Amen bro
Definitely
Definitely.
🙏
Painkiller was my husband's favorite song. ! Played this song at his funeral and my daughter's wedding . That's what he would have wanted. . 😢😂❤
You rock! I want you as my parent
So beautiful way to keep memories of your husband. Sorry for your loss. I wish I can attend the wedding where the Painkiller plays :D
I went seeing Judas, Saxon and Uriah Heep, all in one show in Leeds a month ago, they've all still got it, but Judas still knocked it out of the park!
Rocker who have never listened Painkiller is like Santa who have never gave a present
You don't have to be a lover of metal to appreciate this song.. It's really just quite unbelievable.
Painkiller is hands down one of the greatest metal albums _ever_ recorded. It's all killer, no filler.
The hardest and heaviest song ever recorded. BAR NONE.
The Heaviest Matter of The Universe would like a word with you
When your reaction has left you crawling around on the floor...you've finally reached Metal Valhalla.
Bahahaha so right
Scott Travis on the drum kit took their sound to another level. They could incorporate double bass
he is a Animal on Drums (how wonder why Priest picked him and being their drummer ever since)
Glenn Tipton's solos: The gifts that keep on giving...
Love how bluesy his sound is
Kks is so underrated I love how short but fast it is
🤘 The most representative song of Heavy Metal ... riffs ... solos .... and howls!!! 👍
Rob Halford has his place on the "Metal God" stage along side Bruce Dickinson, King Diamond, and Ronnie James Dio.
Love that you brought in Bruce too =D
wow, those are obviously the 4 best metal voices. i am glad to see i'm not the only one to think so. And Bruce, Rob and the King are stil singing in 2019 and stil killing it. I even think King Diamond it's at his peak.
And Ozzy as well!!!
God in Italian is Dio... lol
Don't forget Eric Adams.
The whole album is like that. Every song is great.
Yea, there is not even one song in that album that is not perfect, and they all group up perfectly with each other
my favorite is leather rebel
@@wingedassassin9999 Painkiller, Hell patrol, Night crawler, and on top of that One Shot at Glory...
Metal Meltdown!
I’m with you dude. Not a single filler.
Power, so insurmountably massive, that it crushes other power under its heel and charges forward, slathering with the maniac hunger for further prey.. THAT is the Painkiller!
I've been listening to Metal for 25 years and I just hear this song 2 days ago. It's now my #1 metal song ever. Above Metallica and Pantera. Can't believe I never heard this
Welcome to the party, pal!
How?
Best heavy-metal song ever. Peak of genre.
You need to listen to this entire album! Its a metal classic from start to finish!
it really is. all killer, no filler
AGREED
Absolutely No filler leather rebel hell patrol love them.
"Does this man ever breathe??"
Rob Halford doesn't need oxygen to survive, oxygen needs him.
That drummer is the most talented I ever seen live.
Only one better is the professor. RIP.
Dave Lombardo....Slayer.
I like how in every live recording of Painkiller he looks so relaxed and chill like he's just warming up.
Another great Priest tune you might enjoy - "The Sentinel"
The best Priest tune.
This is the best reaction I have ever seen.
And now you're sitting there wondering why the hell it took you so long to "discover" Priest... The entirety of the Painkiller album is a masterclass in pure metal. You should try "Metal Meltdown" from the same album.
My absolute favorite from Painkiller right after Painkiller is Between The Hammer And The Anvil!
@@marratj That is also a great track.
METAL MELTDOWN IS MY FAVORITE OFF THE ALBUM!
I had an absolute love for Hell's Patrol. That album is just a gem after the other.....immense.
This is one of my favorite reaction videos ever because every one is remembers hearing this song for the first time and having that EXACT reaction. The look of discovery & joy is perfect!
Absolutely!!!! Pure metal gold at its finest!
for us old ones, this was a great comback for Judas Priest, and it killed all in 90 , they even had pantera and Annihilator as open act in Sweden...
Yeah, no kidding. People waved their hands away at them when Turbo and Ram it Down came out. 'Sell outs!' 'Metal posers!' 'Metal gods?? Pssht!" JP said, 'Kiss my ass." and came out with Painkiller and melted every doubter's brain.
I was in the exact same position.
I always knew of Priest but never listened to them.
I was up to my neck in AC/DC, Iron Maiden and Megadeth.
Then I heard this song and I now have nightmares where TH-cam never existed and I went through my whole life never hearing this God damn Masterpiece.
This is the most metal of all metal ever made.
This song is only the first track of an absolutely phenomenal album. Listen to the whole thing. A Touch of Evil sends chills down my spine
I got the remastered album and it had the song LIVING BAD DREAMS. On it. It's a great song
''Probably'' the best metal track EVERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR.
I'd love to suggest more songs like this, but there aren't any.
Thessik73 master of puppets?
@@bananaclasher877 not even close
Zoom Thawne out of all of Metallica’s songs you choose Puppets?.....
Holy wars
I tip my hat to ya, sir!
Bought this Masterpiece back in 1990! Top 5 all-time favorite albums!
5:06
YEEEEEEEESSSS... It DOES, doesn't it tho. ITS GLORIOUSSS!
No one was ready for this song! :D It is OP!
They proved to all metal bands that this is how it's done relentless ruthless and totally in command
To hear Rob Halfords range - Victim of Changes
It's one of their early ones and mind blowing
Wayne Gossger Victim of Changes is, by far, one of the best 🤘🏼 Sad wings of Destiny is my fav album for sure
This for fucking sure.
Also, from the same album, check out "Dreamer Deceiver"
Screaming For Vengeance > All.
@@11DNA11 Savage, halford sings higher on that song than on whole sad wings of destiny
The live in Japan album is probably my favorite...
Only the greatest heavy metal song of all time 🤘❤️🤘
You just watched the Godfather of heavy metal you'll never find another one like them
Now you understand the "that's not real music!" that older people complain about😁
*sips brandy in older person *
Everything is redefined for one who listens to this track for the first time. Music doesnt remain the same.
What?! give you more songs like this? They dont exist!! This is the ONLY one of its kind!!
Pure metal perfection! ❤
This song starts at 110%, and it never ramps down XD
Judas - the only one group that you can understand every word of the singer!
The drum riff at the beginning that sounds like a motor trying to start, then settling down to the driving tempo; the scream at the end of the second verse; the arpeggios before the guitar solo - all of these make this one of my favorite speed metal songs. Great reaction!
It's fitting that Scott Travis' former band is called Racer X lol
The reaction this song deserves. 🤘🤘
BEST REACTION I have ever seen, this is powerful and hilarious
Painkiller's best youtube reaction. Is the reaction that judas priest deserves.
Judas, sabbath and Motörhead the 3 kings of metal. Greatness
Still my favourite reaction video💚 a true metal masterpiece, to me, this song is incredible! Amazing song, amazing reaction!
Greatest Heavy Metal BAND of all times my Friend!!!! The Metal Gods
Best reaction video to this song. Hands down. The joy and fear all at once is wondrous...
Are you serious? This is the first time you've ever heard this? This has gotta be one of the best metal songs ever written!! Well, better late than never, I guess. 🤘
My first time to hear it as well. Probably would have never heard it has it not been for Mr. RockNRoll.
@@tinyhoney12 Very cool! 🤘😁
It's hard to believe..lol
It took years for this song to grow on me, being someone who prefers their older albums, but this is an awesome example of their work.
my man u never guard this kkkkkkkkkkkkkkk, he is the best vocal ever
The mighty Priest...makes man fall to ground & crawl around floor on hands & knees. "All Guns Blazing" would probably make him pass right out.
... and now imagine my feelings in 1990 when i 1st heard it. I was in school - graduating. My head was totally blown away, lol!
I was a 9 year old kid and a neighbor kid had the LP. Mind blown.
Your reaction is the exact same as my 4 year old nephew when I first introduced him to the metal Gods!😂 Love priest!
Watching young metal fans react to this brings tears of laughter and joy
They call them metal gods for a reason
Oh, Man! You have probably the best reaction record to Painkiller! I mean pure primal emotions, surprises, enjoyment, mind-blow, frenzy, ecstasy... By rewatching your video it's so easy to relive my own first experience and reaction to this song.
Actually, the emotions kinda stay still strong even later. Just the surprise is gone, but you know what is coming and there is a nice even though different kind of thrill to it.
Judas Priest's show is one of the best I've been all my life!
Just when you didn’t think
Priest could get any harder
BOOOOYAAAAA.
When i first heard this 4 years ago i couldnt believe Rob Halfords voice
Try Judas Priests Dreamer Deceiver. Rob Halfords vocal range is incredible. This early track must break some records in octaves! And it is such a cool varied tempo track as well! Def one of my favourite priest tracks!
Hahahaha that song is playing on iPod right now at work.
@@MrRockNRollLive all Judas Priest is amazing! Check out the Screaming for Vengeance album, you will not be disappointed.
This is the Defintion of Heavy Metal!.....one of the greatest Metal Songs ever written !!!....Rob METAL GOD Halford at his Peak !
Hmm. I must be agree with that.
Yeah and he was 40 years old when Painkiller came out....
Get ready for the Judas Priests catalog of music.
"Halford is known from his very unique vocal style and he had a 6 octave vocal range in the early days of the band's career." Chaoszine
You need to hear Savatage 24 Hours Ago or Hall of the Mountain King! Rock on Brother!
Love me some SAVATAGE. Those 2 songs are badass. Very underrated band. . 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
R I P. CRISS. . NEVER FORGOTTEN
The whole Hall of the Mountain King album is GOLD
@@TxHammer_gaming . A HEAVY METAL MASTERPIECE
Helloween - Ride the sky
something similar that I am hooked upon :)
Welcome to the church of the priest... Now you are a BELIEVER IN METAL!!!!!
Best heavy metal song from the best heavy metal album.
If I remember right, Priest have reinvented themselves a few times from the 70's, then the NWOBHM, then with that album (90's), they wanted to prove they can hang with the younger faster bands. Glenn Tipton and K.K. Downing are one of the best guitar duo's ever. I'd suggest, Beyond the Realms of Death, not a fast guitar solo, but an awesome one.
And the album and song turned 32 this year.
First album with new and longest lasting drummer, Scott Travis, obviously a double-kick drum beast.
Beastmaster?
Brutal.
I'd call it the definitive heavy metal song.
Also a great introduction to Judas Priest.
Rob Halford's vocals here are fcking amazing.
Mind blowingly scary.🤯
He's not called The Metal God for no reason.
This song proves why.
I always enjoy watching reactors' jaws drop when the song starts.
This is another amazing song that never gets old, and I love it every time I hear it.
Rob Halford (the vocalist in Judas Priest) is holding the last note for about a full 20 seconds in this one. That's Mastery with a capital M, that is.
One Shot At Glory was my personal fav from this album...
Im proud i have listen this song at first day launch!!
I was brought up on hard rock/ metal in the 70,s my brother had all the Priest albums I was 6yrs old in 1978 when I first listened to Unleashed In The East that was it I was hooked 🤘🤘👍
It's fitting that this track is called Painkiller because it gets your adrenaline going through the roof!
That drum beat before the guitars wasn't on the song composition. Scott Travis played it as a warm up before the recording of the drums for this song but the whole band liked so much that the drum beat become Painkiller song "trade mark".
🤘🤘🤘
No worries dude, there were soooo many bands growing up. Of course some will get missed. The best stuff doesn't even make it to the radio!!! You gotta FIND it!!!
You cannot call yourself mr rock n roll and never heard this. Come on
The best reaction of all times so fuuuuuck
Mr rock n roll que estabas escuchando todo este tiempo? Painkiler es un Himno!
I wish i could go back in time and listen to this masterpiece for the first time once again . And i was exactly like him , it literally changed what i listened to forever .
..And I still have the t-shirt I bought when they did the "Painkiller" tour over here in Europe. 😎
I spent three years in Germany in the Army and two bands for sure will be heard in every room throughout Germany...Judas Priest and Deep Purple.
How can he not know of them?
HAHAHAHAHA best reaction to Painkiller its worth a 10000000000000000000000000 subs :)
Que emoción, después de 30 años esta música siga cautivando personas!
Bienvenido!!
Saw these guys live on Defenders Of The Faith tour, good times. Have every CD and extra they ever did, my all time fav band. Ty Mr. Rock and Roll for reviewing PK.
And that, kids, is how you show what the word relentless means.
My youngest son is now 15. I smile when I remember him in the backseat of the car singing the chorus. Dead on. At age four. 🤘🏼
La cancion mas grandiosa de toda la historia del Heavy Metal!! No hay otra q la supere!!!
ME REPRESENTOU MUITO, QUANDO OUVI PAINKILLER PELA PRIMEIRA VEZ EM 94.
Hey this is music !!! It’s pure roller coaster ride . This is the pain killer yeah baby . This is life . Todays music is so depressing. Todays music is pain !!! Judas Priest yeah baby yeah . The drums at start wow wow . Yesterday’s music was awesome
songs like this by priest, freewheel burning, and from that album defenders of the faith an amazing unsung hero, jawbreaker...
The reaction of simultaneous joy and depression:
“This is amazing! 🤯”
“Where have you been my entire life?” 😰
Do the full album of Ram It Down by them. Most fans say it's their worst album, but to me, it's their finest work.
Real! Priest Is Real. 🤟🏻🤟🏻
them = "can you define Heavy Metal ?" Me = "Painkiller"
I'm a die hard Priest fan and I have to suggest "The Sentinel" From "Priest...LIVE".... His range was insane on the live version.. Liked, and subscribed! Enjoy!
SENTINEL IS AWESOME!
