  • We have an S2000 come from Alabama for a new OEM clutch, Retainers and an AFE air intake
    An S2000 get towed to us and doesn't run.
    We quickly diagnose a bad and find the JDi Relay conversion for the EG, EK, DC fits the 2000 to 2005
    We get an S2000 with the worst shifter ever

    Those louvers have a long way to go! Hopefully they make it there. Those things are $$$$. Some money could be made and people happy if someone decided to make some replicas.

    thanks, great video, last car makes mine look really good :). As for the AFE CAI system, when buying new i see they offer a Dry or Oiled filter, anyone any thoughts on which best for S2000. many thanks Me.

      The dry is for cars using a MAF sensor. You can do either filter for the S2000.

    Which version JDI relay kit did you guys get for the conversion ? they seem to offer 2 different models.

    Misfire 1, 3, random, 🤨
    Did transmission swap. Went with xact flywheel, oem clutch, oem pressure plate. Before that, engine was great. Now, when I'm coming to a stop, the engine dips below 1k rpm. Doesn't shut off, vibrates really ruff. On idle is fine. Smooth. Shifts fine. Acceleration is fine. Will be changing the spark plugs next. Any other ideas? Checked the cat, the 02 sensor. They seem to be in the right slot. Help.

      Aways do the basics first. Spark plugs, valve adjustment and clean and balance injectors. Also do a compression and leak down test. That will tell you pretty much everything.

      Could it also be the driver side ground? When I did my clutch job I took the ground out of the way to get more room to the starter bolt.

      @@dankoolaid3478 is that wire that is the way half way underneath the intake, I didn't remove it, but I did move it up a bit to be able to get to the starte bolt.

      @@Joezrt1 trying to remember as this was a year ago, but it's the ground strap by the motor mount that kennects on the subframe. I believe it ran up near the starter.

    No main fuel relay info? On that 88/91 crx... We 88/91 ppl need a fix for them old relays...
