It works! My Rockshox AXS dropper was completely seized in my carbon frame. I tried all the heavy handed stuff but nothing worked. Then I found this video, applied an ice-pack for 30 mins and boom! Out it came as though it had never been stuck! I was amazed and am very thankful to you for sharing this tip.
This is amazing, thank you so much!!!! Strapped some ice packs to it and then gave it an extra spray with a tyre inflation Co2 cartridge and the seatpost came right out with no hammering or vice grips! Just turned it along the seatpost and almost instantly had it loose! I would've never thought about this, you saved me a massive amount of hassle!!!

For steel and aluminium i would still recommend soak it wit penatration lube. That works best for me.
