Seized / Stuck Carbon Saddle post removal/ Carbon Sattel Rohr entfernen

Improvised Slide Hammer to remove a seized carbon saddle post.
Scan to 2:00 if impatient
Remove the saddle first.
Try to keep all movements in one line to avoid a lateral pull that could futher lock the saddle post.
Use a heavy element that is compact so you can move with precision.

Thanks for the tip! it helped me get the seat post out of my frame. It was extremally stuck, I tried everything and I gave up for a while. then I came across your video and with that technique I was able to unjam it. I have a Felt B14.

I found a great method of fixing my stuck saddle by using a ball point massager 😁. It works great, it is fast abd should not damage anything

Thank you, I have a similar seized aero post, so it’s probably another possible method to attempt and add to others such as dry ice, slide hammer, hydraulic extraction or sadly destroying the post by cutting. I’ll post up any successful outcomes!

For me wd40 then turned the bike upside down on a rug stood with my feet on each side of the seat... yanked on the frame and the seat post popped right out. Not quite as extravagant as this setup but works all the same 👍
