It feels just as good as the Lancehead with a comparable profile/form but wireless freedom and ease of movement due to the very low 54g weight. I switched from the G Pro Superlight 1 to the BeastX about a month ago and all i can say is that i am really happy with it. I did not have the Windows Defender Message nor did i have the Dongle disconnect. It is super light and i really liked that they send glass mouse feet and grips along side the mouse. It being magnesium also creates a weirdly pleasant cold to the touch feel. Only downside is the batterylife. I use it on 1000Hz and it lasts 3-4days for me. I also ran the antivirus we use at our it company on those files and they were clean. I think its just a Windows safety measure because the program itself lets you tweak windows settings directly in it.

It has been getting hotter over the last decades but because we do not build our houses out of cardboard most of the buildings here are more than 50-60 years old and back then they didnt have AC in mind. Newer buildings however do not have AC aswell theres some german engineering stuff they do where we put cold water tubes in the wall and stuff like that. Back then they were more concerned about keeping heat inside during the winter rather than cooling it. Hey @optimumtech please test out the VGN/VXE/ATK Series of mice especially the VXE R1 PRO & ATK F1 Ultimate, I been maining the R1 Pro for the past 2 months and it's just performs no complains whatsoever.
@@ANiCKiN To be honest, I don’t like optimum’s review on the BeastX. The fact that he shamed the BeastX around twice, such as calling it a Chinese clone and refusing to download the software due to a false positive, Also, the BeastX is cheaper as well. And especially with the constant QC issues I’ve seen with the ULX. Even after all these months up until today, I wouldn’t trust this review of the BeastX.
You got the “scary” pop up because BeastX didn’t bother to get the mouse software certified by Microsoft, not because it’s a virus or anything they can harm your computer. I can’t take this review seriously just on that. You also could’ve fixed the mice bricking by just re-pairing it and the dongle if you read the manual in advance of making this so you don’t give the wrong impression to people that it’s a buggy mess when it works perfectly fine. Also, if you despise clone products like BeastX is to FinalMouse, then why didn’t you dock the Viper v3 Pro when it is an evolved GPX Superlight? It’s another inconsistency that I immediately noticed when you did the Superlight and Viper v3 Pro comparison. However, there is nothing inherently bad about cloning a long-time staple product as long as you make your own spin on it. I like to bring up the Montech KING 95 as an example of clone done right. The KING 95 is a clone of the Lian Li O11D, but it has varying differences and a couple features it has that the O11D doesn’t. Combine the differences in design and feature set and selling it at a different, lower price bracket than the O11D and you have a unique and refreshing take on a long time staple PC case, which still doesn’t necessarily mean it’s immediately better or will have a greater marketshare than the O11D because of differences in price, features, modularity, or all three. You’re lowering your opinion on BeastX because of something that is hardcoded into Windows, a pairing bug that you can fix by taking 90 seconds to read the manual and troubleshoot, and for an inconsistent bias of clone products that you find “disgusting”, which frankly is just competition and we all should be thriving for a competitive market, especially in one as customizable and liberating as the custom PC market. Biases, inconsistencies, and just nonchalantly skimming through under those biases is something you can’t let interfere in a review, whether in depth on a single product or as a quick review of multiple. You need to review through an unbiased lens if your plan is to be informative to viewers with your own experiences with it and compare to other similar products if possible - only compare wired mice to other wired mice and not wireless mice, and the other way around - for the best possible review. If you don’t want to do a true review, that’s fine, just clearly state that you’re not giving an honest review of a product so you don’t potentially deceive viewers who may not know nuances of mice like you or other enthusiasts. I really want you to succeed and you have all the resources you need to be a world class reviewer should you want to be, but you can’t have these kind of biases and inconsistent views in a review that people might see and give the wrong impression towards, especially in something you love as much as computer peripherals. We all hope you can get better as a channel, and you are a breath of fresh air when you share your experience building a new PC or sharing your sim racing experience and setup, but I can’t take a review from you seriously if it’s gonna be this dishonest and lazily done as this.

I've had the Beast X Mini for a few months now. At first, the battery life at 4k polling rate was pretty bad. The right side of my palm felt a little empty though but I got used to it in a day. Battery life is great as well each 1% lasts a pretty good amount of time.
As someone who has the Beast X - you really don't need to worry about the software. Windows defender gets pissy about software from "unknown" publishers, especially when it comes down to mice and keyboards. It's a fantastic mouse, and if you put your mouse on charge after each session (really not that big of an inconvenience) then the battery life isn't really an issue. I can't speak on the mini version since I haven't used it, but the base Beast X is incredible and (personal preference) I like the cut-outs on it way more than on the FinalMouse. Not sure why, I just find it a whole lot more comfortable, and the side cut-outs are perfectly placed for where my fingers naturally land when holding it.
I didn't want to wait 20 years for the Finalmouse to come back into stock. Got a BeastX Mini right from their website, arrived in about 2 weeks and have been using it since. Best mini mouse by far on the market and for me to take a chance on a mouse straight from China it passes all the QC with excellent build quality. Don't get me wrong; I have both the mini and Fab Beast versions, and I can't use either of them because they favor fingertip grip, and I am totally a claw grip user. But they are still not as bad as you make them out to be here.
The super high FPS footage of the mouse switch activation is insane!

Congrats on the 1 million subs. Started watching your videos recently. I love your deep dive approach on the topics you cover! It's really nice to see a channel where you can get a bit more depth and an analytical approach. Keep it up!
Purchased the Viper V3 Pro based on this video. Having come from a Razer Lancehead TE (110g), I never thought I'd be amazed by a featherweight mouse. It feels just as good as the Lancehead with a comparable profile/form but wireless freedom and ease of movement due to the very low 54g weight. I also like the lack of LED gimmics which makes for what I expect to be a long battery life (Up to 95 hrs advertised). I think this purchase was the trigger for my desire to go for a visually wirefree setup on my desk.
Thanks for the quality, mature, no fuss content.
Bro is the only TH-camr who reviews the hardware of peripherals and gives meaningful quantitative data
until he sees that there is an objectively better mouse than the Superlight, (Viper v3 Pro) then suddenly he’s flaw hunting, insinuating the “disgusting clone” complex, and then speaking under a sinister tone about it.
@@AverageWatchedand for some reason he isn’t open to criticism at ALL. if anyone corrects him he always just keeps arguing without actually listen to what they’re saying, a good example being the issue he had with the beast x
That swipe test on the viper v3 is just because of motionsync being enabled, you can enable that in for the wlmouse too
Damn your good with the B-Roll shots. Looks awesome that fade showing the difference.
The new BeastX Max and Fabulous Beasts Edition of the BeastX have completely new firmware what has even better click latency, better 8K polling, and MUCH improved battery life. You should try those.
its always a good day when optimum uploads
I am playing with the Beast X since 7 ish months and its amazing
congrats on 1M bro
would also love to see you test some vaxee mice
I’d not be suprised if you had 10m subs tomorrow the quality, the no bs in your videos are rare
OP1 8K user here
I switched from a wireless mouse and agree that the wire was "in the back of my head" a lot in the beginning as well! But after using it for longer it's basically not noticable anymore. I concluded that it's placebo, not even "needing to get used to" - i don't notice a diffrence switching back and forth.
But that's only for this mouse, the cable is very well made!
What do you like about it? Does it feel more instant to you than wireless?
@@tr4nnel752 no, that's been proven that there is no difference in latency between wireless and wired! The reason i switched was entirely because of the battery. It's so nice not needing to charge my mouse any more

Congrats bro, most deserved 1M of recent times
Major congrats on hitting 1 million subs, been subbed for a little while now, and overall happy that the vid that for that 1 million is a mouse vid. Keep up the amazing work and excited to see any other reviews on mice like the Sora V2 from you!

Excellent video as always, and congratz on 1M my dude. Cheers
Congrats on 1M man. Been subbed since the beginning. Would love you get your thoughts on the Ninjutso Sora V2!
Have you tried the MZ1 wireless with the updated back panel? I swear it's amazing compared to the OG MZ1 back panel. Def worth a shot. I fingertip and it's been my main. I really hesitated getting it.
Small question but is it the MZ1 a good mouse to learn m&k from?
@@SmokeyOwOs literally anything thats has a good pixelart sensor and is above 40$ will give you around 99.9% of the "performance" . Shape, feel and grip are the most important parts.
@@SmokeyOwOs Its a very unique shape geared towards finger tip grip. Id recommend figuring out your hand measurements and then heading over to rocket jump ninjas channel and website, theres a huge list of mice and reviews for them with their measurements and recommended grips for them
I have this mouse. I bought the wired one at release but it didn't click with me. Picked it back up a year and a half later after many other mice and it was all of a sudden very comfortable. Got the wireless version and I haven't found a mouse to replace it yet
Seeing that 1m next to your name is just so beautiful
Congrats dude
Love your videos so much, they are the highest quality reviews and coming from someone who is genuinely good at gaming and has cracked aim (and is jacked lmfao).
Do you still stream at all?
Haven't checked you out in a couple years, but im building a new pc soon, so i thought id see what you've been making lately. Awesome vid as always and congrats on 1 mil. You've come a long way and still growing!

Congrats on 1 mil, well deserved! Feels like it was yesterday i subbed, when you had like 100k.
Congrats, 1M Subs is far overdue! Thank you for all you do for us!
How much dust and mucus have yet accumulated in the holes? Summer will be tough depending where you live I guess.
@@Definitely_Melnyx i havent noticed any dust on my mouse. I also havent noticed any mucus because the holes do not have sharp edges they are smoothed out. As i said they send grips with the mouse and i applied them to the sides but not on the actual buttons/paddels and i have really oily skin and so theres a bit of buildup there but much less than on the g pro superlight. i live in germany where we have no ac so summer is gonna be another thing.
@@Prearc wait what the fuck why do you guys not have air conditioners? like you CANT have them or you choose to not for the sake of the planet?
@@HAZARDxdxdWell you can have them but the thing in germany is that electricity costs about double the cost of electricity in the US. So theyre a really expensive luxury thing to have here. The other thing is Germany has some goofy ah weather where you have 70-75F for a week and then you have 80-95F for the next 3. Also in germany the average summer temperature is id say around 80F wich isnt too bad without AC theres just about 20days each year where it can hit 95F and these are the aids days. So for the most people its to expensive to have them.
@@Prearc oh i see, i am from argentina and its pretty common here, hell some people even have 3 or even 4 of them on their houses!!! And that is obviously too mutch even for me. But from the temperatures you said yea, it is much hotter here. We reach up to 40-45 celcius (105-115 fahrenheit) on the worst days
Congrats hitting 1 million. Watching since u started. Hope u the best for the days coming.
Op1 8k user, I love it! Only complaint is it took me two days to get used to the smaller size ❤
same, it feels amazing and smooth, love the coating
Congrats on a million subscribers man, so well deserved!
I dont see the Viper V3 in the latency graph. I only see V2. did you forget to add it? Or is the V2 V3 and its just a typo?
Same question here
I also was looking for that. Does anyone have an update on this mouse?
@@ChrisBlohm-g5n Mouse is amazing, feels like aimbot on 1600 DPI, 1,000 polling rate. If you are someone who claw grips or finger tip grips mice then go for it.
Was waiting for your mouse reviews! Congratulation on hitting 1 million subscriber count! You really deserve it!
I think whats the most attractive part about the op1 8k is the shape, coating, and consistency of a wired mouse. I know some signals interfere with wireless mice.
congrats on the 1 mil subs, well deserved for the coziest channel on you tube

To be honest, I don’t like optimum’s review on the BeastX. The fact that he shamed the BeastX around twice, such as calling it a Chinese clone and refusing to download the software due to a false positive,
Also, the BeastX is cheaper as well. And especially with the constant QC issues I’ve seen with the ULX.
Even after all these months up until today, I wouldn’t trust this review of the BeastX.
Really like this peripheral videos, especially mice and mousepads!

Amazing production quality at usual. Congrats on 1M, well deserved
I've had the Beast X Mini for a few months now. At first, the battery life at 4k polling rate was pretty bad. However, after the newest software updates (4/16), the battery life has improved dramatically. At 4k polling rate, battery can last 2 or maybe 3 days of continuous use. Also, both the Beast X and Beast X Mini were on sale for $117, I think? If it ever comes back to that price, I think it's an easy no-brainer. Great review!
Beautiful production quality as always man, much love from South Africa and congrats on that 1M🔥💪

Recently just bought the Razer Viper V3 Pro. Very light previously was on a Razer Deathadder V2 so the difference wasn’t crazy in terms of getting used to my sens. The right side of my palm felt a little empty though but I got used to it in a day. Battery life is great as well each 1% lasts a pretty good amount of time.
best gaming gear channel ever
As someone who has the Beast X - you really don't need to worry about the software. Windows defender gets pissy about software from "unknown" publishers, especially when it comes down to mice and keyboards. It's a fantastic mouse, and if you put your mouse on charge after each session (really not that big of an inconvenience) then the battery life isn't really an issue. I can't speak on the mini version since I haven't used it, but the base Beast X is incredible and (personal preference) I like the cut-outs on it way more than on the FinalMouse. Not sure why, I just find it a whole lot more comfortable, and the side cut-outs are perfectly placed for where my fingers naturally land when holding it.
beautiful. was literally searching your channel for mice vids earlier today to see what the current mouse vibe is
I didn't want to wait 20 years for the Finalmouse to come back into stock. Got a BeastX Mini right from their website, arrived in about 2 weeks and have been using it since. Best mini mouse by far on the market and for me to take a chance on a mouse straight from China it passes all the QC with excellent build quality. I've bought plenty of Logitech and Razer in the past and had tons of build quality problems returning and exchanging just to get a good built one.
1 Mil breached, congrats!! 👏🏻👏🏻🎉🎉
