Hi! since posting this ive had a fair few people ask if I had an affiliate/promo code for the op1, and while im not affiliated with endgamegear in any way I did set up an amazon affiliate link if the mouse sounds like something you'd like and you want to support what I do
I think that the biggest thing about the OP18K and wireless variants of EGG mice that people forget is that the hot swap switches with its insane build quality means it could be a legit forever mouse, 9$ to replace a double clicking switch? Not a bad deal when you consider the mouse is sub 100$ and they include the tools you will need to take apart the mouse in the box. Also because it is wired the OP18k when set to GX Speed Mode, the switches will run at a consistent 8K polling rate no matter what, even if you set the sensor to 1k or 4k. So you will always get that insane click latency no matter what, so if you have a weaker PC that can't run 4k or 8k polling rates you can still benefit from the click latency of the mouse. The only thing that I will say as a user of a Viper V3 is that with Razer's auto swapping Polling Rates you won't notice the battery drain as bad as some brands like WLMouse, if you are in a game it will run at your set polling rate and when it detects you are not gaming it will swap it back to 1k or lower to conserve battery as my Viper V3 can last at most 3-4 days without a charge. Only downside is the dreaded install of Synapse.
The point you made about not charging is something I experienced when I went back to wired for a while... It's just so refreshing not having to every worry about it
as someone that uses the Logitech G Pro X Superlight i never have to worry about the battery charge since it has very good battery life. But i can understand how annoying it could be on other mouses!
You do not need to worry about it. Most wireless mice will warn you at 10-20% about charging. Once per 2-3 weeks 😂. 4-8k is not required. It’s a marketing where many are fishes vs corporations. Just putting it for night or while working and voila 😅
Never thought i would use a wired mouse ever again until i tried the op1 8k been using it as my main mouse for a few months and have no plan on switching anytime soon
@ViscoseOCE thank you haven't been too bad and yeah I've definitely been converted using a mouse that small and wired is a pretty big change but honestly the best part is just not costing like 200 aud for a top tier mouse
Viscose was actually one of the inspirations why I got myself an OP18k Recently and since then I've hit my peak in Valorant and I simply just cannot see myself using anything else for my claw grip until idk another wired masterpiece comes out. Easily the best budget mouse and the 7-10% cpu increase in using 8k isnt a huge hit for me since i dont run too much stuff in the bg. I genuinely feel the same about this mouse! I got used to it super fast, my aim just straight up improved, tracking, target switching just everything feels so much better with it. The shape is amazing for middle size hands claw gripping and fingertip it all just works. The latency is unmatched, the software is simple and just works. There is like nothing I can critique... heck even the coating (white one) is amazing and did not stain yet after ungodly extensive use of 8-10 hours a day of gaming.
Hello Viscose, i wanna thank you. I bought this mouse just after your video. my gpro superlight was not fitting well in my hand and i was missing a lot because of that. it's been a week now that i have the op1 8k and my aim did step up a lot. You were right about the shape, it is extremely crucial :)). Also the cable is like not existing. Thx again for everything i learned throught your video, thx A LOT. Much love !
Bro I just ordered this mouse last night and was watching your videos cuz I knew you were using it and now you uploaded a video about it the odds are crazy also you're absolutely insane at aim keep up the great work
Saw you post a screenshot of your vid on twitter and I'm glad I decided to give it a watch. You completely sold me on the mouse. I've been switching between the gpro sl and pulsar x2 for some time now and you described this mouse as the best of both worlds. Gonna buy it soon and use it.
It really makes me wanna try this mouse but i just bought a new mouse about 2 months ago, sadly i didn't know this one existed and how good it is, i'll be sure to keep it in mind in case the one i have breaks, great video as always😀
2:29 you just described pincer claw/pincer fingertip, really underrated grip type and theres a LOT of people who use this subconsciously without even knowing it, ive found that the np-01s and the zaopin z1 pro are the best for me to achieve this grip naturally, with the z1 pro becoming my main mouse for the past 6 months or so
I bought the Kailh GX 50-55gf switches, which are even lighter than the stock switches. They fully support GX Speed Mode and they click like a dream! Having to put less downward pressure on the mouse to click keeps me more nimble. Swapping them is a breeze too. Literally a matter of unscrewing 6 screws with the supplied screwdriver.
Great Review! Same goes for me only mouse I would switch to would be the op1w 4k. The op1 shape is so good and compared to all these Ali express mice it is a night and day difference in terms of build quality and performance.
I upgraded to the OP1we and I love the coating and shape. Also one thing is that EGG mice are also available in most markets so no need to import ! Thank you for the video
0:40 what a coincidence that's my reddit post lol (the viper v3 pro Gengar Edition) Btw great video! I'll probably be getting the Op1 8k as well at some point.
Not gonna lie op1 8k is definitely a solid mouse but it's not the golden mouse of the century that everyone is making it out to be. It definitely has issues
Heads up. A new OP1 8K is coming up that has a Pixart 3950 sensor (opposed to the 3395 in the current one). It's not a huge difference, but the 3950 features Motion Sync at 8K with no added latency, just like the Viper V3 Pro has. If you want to buy one, it might be worth waiting another week or two. Oh, and it'll only be available in purple frost!
@@keeshh06 If you're thinking of suggesting freight-forwarding service, I'm not going to pay for fees that will undoubtedly cost much more than the mouse itself.
I love that you love the OP1. I remember getting the OP1we when it released and you were one of the few that reviewed it! It truly is the best shape on the market full stop.
Still on my Razer Viper Ultimate due to the amazing charging dock. Not having to charge your mouse is so underrated and is what had kept me on this mouse all these years
Frozoken that's the thing, if we are going to limit the polling rate to lower numbers why would we buy a 8kHz mice? hardware limits should be considered before buying
@@Gawlexlow weight, no need to charge, click latency very low, low price, best cable, easy software. This days is difficult find a mouse that doesn’t support 4/8khz, it’s just the modern thing going on, it’s like light weight couple of years back, but you can change it to 500hz or 1khz, still the click goes very low even without the gx speed
Not sure if I got a new version of the Viper V3 but mine came with the 4-8k dongle in the box for the $159 but the price is so good on the OP1 8k so I still agree on the value.
i've been using mine (all stock for now bc i'm moving soon) for a little over 3 months and i agree with all of your points. even with my comparatively larger hands to the mouse, everything feels insane overall. great video
For me nothing quite touches the Viper Mini (SE), with a base swap the weight is only 42g and 39g if you swap to a smaller battery. Shape wise I feel it's perfect for my Pincer Claw / Fingertip 20x10.5 hands. I am able to microadjust seamlessly between both grip styles without losing palm contact (under the ring/pinky and thumb) as you do with the OP1, interestingly enough the bottom half of both mice are basically identical. With Razer's 8K wireless implementation, it offers all the advantages of wireless with none of the downsides. If the leaks are true, we should be seeing the Viper Mini V3 Pro releasing soon!
Are you referring to the TJ Exclusive base? I love the RVMSE Shape but after trying the ULX Cheetah weight (35g) and how balance it is compared to my front heavy RVMSE i haven’t been using it since, So how’s the base swap going on with you is it still sturdy and built well or are you experiencing side creaking? And did you do a battery mod? If so what battery are you using and how is it performing on 4k/8k polling rate?
@@Rezyow Yes, the TJ base. The mouse is perfectly balanced with this mod. The base hasn't compromised rigidity at all, since the top is one piece, the mouse feels just as solid vs stock. I haven't swapped the battery but you can bring the weight down to 39g if you do. I run stock battery at 2k usually, 8k feels great.
@@JtwasLuck I see, Might give it a shot after i get my op18k and give it some time i tend to aggressive claw grip with 19.5x10 hands, The ULX Cheetah feels great overall but i’ve been experiencing inconsistencies with it even after 3 weeks of use so if it doesn’t work out i will go back to my RVMSE and do the base swap maybe throw in a smaller battery too, Thank you for your time!
@@Rezyow No problem, yeah I was on the ULX for a bit but after doing the base swap I just use the VMSE these days. It's just a better shape for claw/fingertip.
You are very underrated youtuber! I have watched a lot of your videos in the past and after i saw this video i ordered myself this mouse, it should arrive today im so excited to start using it!
I hope wired mice make some kind of comeback. It’s nice knowing you can get top tier performance without breaking the bank or worrying about the battery only lasting for 10 hours.
I just cant deal with the cable anymore after going wireless, no matter how perfectly you place the cable or how good it is, its always there and you can feel it. Mouse being wireless makes the most sense from all the gear , cause it makes you feel the freedom of moving the mouse anywhere without having issues with a cable,
i am kinda happy seeing a video of you reviewing the mouse i bought like a few months ago and praising it. was getting buyers remorse seing everyone shit on me having a wired mouse. but this helped thanks!
I have had 20+ mice and the EndgameGear OP1 8K is actually the best I had. Surely Wireless is giving you more freedom (leaning all the way back and still able to click(watching movies)) but that does not interfere with gaming. Use a bungee and it feels like wireless. Pro tip: If you do not want to pay for a bungee use a full water bottle and tape the wire on top of it. It works (own experience) The build quality of the OP1 8K is phenomenal! The grip/coding is perfect! It feels very light! (I can say that cuz I used to use a 23gramm mouse) And “Shape is King, King is OP1 8K“ !!!
I just got back from Japan a few days ago where I picked up the op1we. I love it so far. Dropped 41 kills in ranked on valorant with it. I would've loved to go with the wired version of the mouse but I have a physical disability where my arm is bent to the point to my mouse is positioned almost directly below my keyboard so having a wire means the cable would hit my keyboard no matter how I try to suspend the cable. I hope one day endgamegear releases a 4k variant of the wireless mouse and I'd be happy to spend a good chunk of cash for it. Great video!
This is the video to finally convince me to buy the op18k😫 it was the palm contact segment that really sold me. Finalmouse small has been my go to as a ft grip but I hate the loss of stability during micros. I didn’t think it was a problem that could be solved, like you said. I finally realize the hype behind this mouse, thanks viscose:)
your comments on the shape are the exact reasons i love my egg shape (g203) so much lol, + the inward slope on the sides that helps with liftoff. using any other mouse i just don't feel like i have nearly as much control. tried dozens of mice and then got an egg 4 years ago and never went back. just got an mchose g3 and i'm gonna be modding the shit out of it soon
You are amazing and an inspiration. I started seriously aim training thanks to you and got me in this incredible world of progressing and becoming better at aiming. Thank you!
I used to want everything to be wireless but like I've been using an old zowie s2 divina and I love never having to think about charging I might upgrade to this mouse after the video. Keep up the great content! :)
18.5x11 hands and OP18K user main here. The mouse really one of the best I've ever had. Never have I thought that this small weenie will be this comfy. The performance is just crazy. Endgame Gear really put out an endgame-worthy mouse with this one
This is the an absolute banger. its so smooth and responsive. love the shape and the under millisecond click just blows my mind. just a heads up, 8k polling does use around 10% of CPU haha. But this mouse is not going to leave my pad any time soon :)
*slowly gets op1we back out* I've been really enjoying the Sora V2 but agree that the OP1 is pretty special shape wise. I do have Kailh GM 8.0 to put in too which massively help since stiff clicks ruin my pistol spam + micro adjustment in CS. Your notes about points of contact while maintaining some finger movement helped me understand the OP1 grip a little better, thanks!
Ive had the XM1r & I currently have the OP1 8k. Completely agree with everything you have said in this video, though as I have large hands I do find I get fatigue alot quicker than on my old XM1r. Looks like I am going to get the XM2 8K ....
youve probably got a lot of comments like this but goodness you present your videos so well, the way you speak just kept me entertained when i usually dont like watching reviews, and you have such a calm yet powerful voice which isnt too hard and loud on the ear, yet it keeps viewers to stay and when paired with the way you present the info in your videos it makes it entertaining asf keep that shi up
So much value for money with this mouse. I see what you mean with the shape as I have the mouse also. Something about it feels a little too narrow for me but length wise is perfect. I feel the same as you for the pulsar x2h mini with the locked in back but still having the ability to micro adjust with the fingers without losing that palm contact. Very insightful looking at the shape in finger detail
Thank you, i love your content. I just ordered the OP1 8K and really looking forward to try it out. I have slightly smaller hands then you and hoping this mouse will work out as i have no way of trying it out first. I am currently using the Glorious Model 0...and recently changed my grip to claw but i am having hard time with precision on it and i think its due to its size. My hope is that OP1 8K being smaller will allow me to have better control over micro adjustments.
The grip flexibility point might've convinced me to get this. I only ftip and do struggle with stability a lot and occasionally do make contact with the hump and the bottom of my ring finger on certain mice but never consistently; it feels really good when I do tho. Awesome video, consistently the most quality stuff out there keep it up :)
I very much do this, alternate between fingertip and pincer claw and so far both the Atlantis mini and the OP1we (the version I had) were the best, but I was always a bit bothered by the weight. Going to the Darmoshark m5 made all the difference, while my fingers stay a bit too much at the front, the lighter weight and click feeling combined with the smaller shorter design allowed me to go from fingertip to pincer claw without having to readjust. Since it's tiny and the weight is much better, I don't find like the mouse is slippery.
@@kevinw0lf that’s awesome, I also have the Atlantis mini and was actually eyeing the m5 specifically for a few weeks now!! I usually grip quite far down but I might give it a shot from your recommendation and have always wanted to try ftip mice. Appreciate you sharing ur thoughts!
@@gearvanguard it's exactly what I end up doing when gripping the Atlantis mini, it's a solid mouse but I just couldn't grip it without feeling a bit too tense. If you can keep a light grip on it, it's god tier.
I remember wireless just being amazing because of the limited desk space I had growing up. Even now, my desks are a bit more narrow and I don't use mounted monitors, however, looking at my setup... Yeah. Out with the old.
I just received mine a couple days ago. I haven’t tried it yet cause I’m enjoying the op1we at the moment but after watching this I kinda wanna open it up now xD ps your videos are the best❤️❤️❤️
Great video once again Im a long time user of endgame gear mice(the xm1 shape)but having wide and large hands Im most likely going to stick with the viper v3 pro the op1 looks to be a little thin for me
I’ve been hearing about this mouse for the past months but brushed it off because it’s wired. Then I saw recently its performance is super good and price is also just perfect imo. I’m waiting for mines to come in and hopefully it’s here tomorrow but hearing more good stuff in this video is getting me excited
I rarely ever comment on videos but i saw this like 2 days ago and i decided to order it and received it yesterday. I’ve bought many mice over the years, whatever was trendy/new release or (shocking) mice but this is hands down the best mouse I’ve ever used. the wire isn’t an issue at all for me (I do have a bungee).
Thank you for vindicating us wired-mouse enjoyers. My Pulsefire Haste has been well-loved and I always appreciated not having to charge it. I might have to upgrade now though...
to answer your question on twitter yeah the video feels different when watching but its far from feeling low quality. Anyways very well constructed points and I found it interesting that the reasons you stated why you switched and stayed on the OP1 8k are extremely similar to my reasons for staying on my own wired mouse of choice the DaV3. The shape by far is the most comfortable mouse I've ever held, it fits so well into my hand that I can effortlessly pickup the mouse with nearly 0 pressure from my fingers and I can even swing it up and down without it slipping from my hand at all. I have large hands so for me I can grip it normally like I would (claw) but if I needed a bit more freedom I can easily switch to fingertip with no issues. I tried the wireless DaV3 and while I did like the general shape, I found it to have considerably more flex, much so that even with a relaxed grip I could feel the mouse frame bending and it just threw me off. The wire while not perfect, with the way I had my bungee setup it wasn't even touching the ground majority of the time so I could barely feel its existence. The only time it could cause an issue is if I decided to just spin the mouse. While I personally haven't felt any noticeable delay between my wired and wireless mice, I could definitely appreciate not having to worry about my battery when I'm running the DaV3's 4k polling rate. The last part and for me the most important was actually the value, I was able to grab the DaV3 for around $50 USD and for me all I can say is that its the only mouse I have that is worth the price without a smudge of doubt
For people wanting a wider or large version alternatives, you can check out NZXT 8k mice (there's a symm and a ergo), or even the DAV3 8khz or Viper 8khz are good options
I tried my best to give the OP1 shape a good go, trying both the WE and the 8K, and it really highlights to how shape is individual to the person. I loved the 8K in every aspect possible, but found my thumb to be cramping after an hour of usage, and I could never adjust. I have wide, but shorter hands (17.5x10), and I found that shapes like the Sora fit way better for me.
i can def see how the width would be an issue with hands that size yea :/ you could try layering grip tape if you have any spare? ik a few ppl who have done that and its helped
@@ViscoseOCE I did indeed give that a try, it just felt uncomfortable to me as the part I'm gripping isn't supported by a thick shell 😂 Fantastic review as always Viscose!
had this mouse for two months now, saw it used on german ebay for 50€ and I only wanted to try it out of curiosity, hasn't left my desk ever since and left all my other mice in the dust, absolutely incredible product
I have been playing for more than a year with the g pro wireless and I thought I was never going to play with a wired mause again but recently I decided to buy the deathadder v3 with cable and the truth is that after a couple of hours without the cable I don't notice it anymore and I feel that my aim has not worsened but it has improved a lot and the truth is that people make more drama than what is really there for using a wired mause.
Another banger video 👏🏼 I’ve heard so many amazing things about this mouse. It was really nice hearing your take on this! I really am curious about trying it myself!! I think the performance at that value is absolutely UNBEATABLE. Especially if the shapes suits you! Although I’m worried about it being too narrow for me personally since I have 19x11 hands :( my Atlantis Mini 4K gives me hand cramps at times bc of the thin grip width.
im enjoying the op18k a lot, just orderd a hitscan hyperlight, from what ive compared on eloshapes, they are practically identical in terms of size, but i have not found a mouse that suits my grip style in a long time. At first I was doubting going back to wired but it performs far better than i initially expected
I completely agree with all your points on the Op18k best small wired mice for the price. I wish I can changed the switches to the lighter ones but getting EGG products in NZ is very annoying and price bc of shipping cost and finding the right website the ships to NZ. Hoping for EGG to make it easier to purchase from NZ and Op1w 4k to be released soon 🙏
Great video! This mouse was mostly interesting to me because of its easily accessible screws making it great for enthusiasts. If you've got big hands, I'm sure you could just 3d print a new shell if you really wanted.
@@ViscoseOCE Mine just came in today, love it even more than my viper mini and the logitech g pro x superlight. This mouse is just perfect. I got smaller hands and use a claw grip.
I agree with your points on wired. Once you have a solid mouse bungee, you're pretty much set, since there aren't any bad cables on the market anymore, in order to compete with wireless. To add to that, the cable mount on the mouse is slightly angled upwards, which reduces the drag even more. Really sold mouse by the looks of it. I personally use a M3K, and the only thing I'd switch it out for if it died would be my M2K, while I'd wait for my M3K replacement haha.
Thanks for making this video. Recently after 6 months my razer mouse is already dying. Not sure what caused it to die so quick and I've been doing a little bit of research on some mice and you're video made me go ahead and give endgamegear a try. Thanks!
I've been a wireless peripheral doubter since wireless mice started being a thing, so seeing wired products have a sort of a renaissance has been really satisfying to me personally, lol. Even if it's not the only or even the main reason people like the OP1 8K. I have really bad ADHD, so planning ahead or being distracted/thrown off by having to charge a thing that died, something that should always "just work" seemed kinda nuts for me, and was always going to be a dealbreaker.
Honestly, I like going Matty mode with my GPX sometimes and use it wired as well. It feels nostalgic. Also, when a bigger OP1 comes out, I'm coping it.
OP1 8k is crazy good. I don't know if it is dark magic or what but I can almost not find words to describe how good aiming with this thing feels. It is THE purest aim experience I have ever felt and it is not the lightest mouse I have ever used nor a mouse that perfectly fits me size wise. EGG are above the competition.
I have numerous mouse, even various custom made mice, and more that I built myself. In spite of all that, I am maining the OP1 8k. That being said, I did have to eventually replace the middle mouse button, which required soldering since it is not hot-swappable like the others.

I'm happy that I share this hyper fixation with you ! I am enamored by your aim ty for the high quality vid !!
2:29 you just described pincer claw/pincer fingertip, really underrated grip type and theres a LOT of people who use this subconsciously without even knowing it, ive found that the np-01s and the zaopin z1 pro are the best for me to achieve this grip naturally, with the z1 pro becoming my main mouse for the past 6 months or so
I went to claw grip and now I feel like i have to relearn my pincer claw grip. It really is the best
have you tried the vxe r1 shape?
I only realised it after i started aim training but I change my grip all the time on my viper mini
@@ZeroChoices yeah, imo its average for pincer, not my favorite but not necessarily bad either
@@gluggy i see, I might try the z1 pro then based on your comment since I have the same exact grip
I bought the Kailh GX 50-55gf switches, which are even lighter than the stock switches. They fully support GX Speed Mode and they click like a dream! Having to put less downward pressure on the mouse to click keeps me more nimble. Swapping them is a breeze too. Literally a matter of unscrewing 6 screws with the supplied screwdriver.
i use these ones too! no regrets at all, great value
Where could I buy those switches?
@@gotdante1026 Either on offical supplier websites, or Aliexpress, Amazon and others do sell them if you get lucky
@@gotdante1026 amazon or their website
Great Review! Same goes for me only mouse I would switch to would be the op1w 4k. The op1 shape is so good and compared to all these Ali express mice it is a night and day difference in terms of build quality and performance.
I upgraded to the OP1we and I love the coating and shape. Also one thing is that EGG mice are also available in most markets so no need to import ! Thank you for the video
0:40 what a coincidence that's my reddit post lol (the viper v3 pro Gengar Edition)
Btw great video! I'll probably be getting the Op1 8k as well at some point.
WHAAAAT i recognize your shorts videos dude, they're hilarious! didn't know you were a hardcore aimer
@julien7196 oh yeah I'm a huge mouse enthusiast. Tbh I'm not even sure why I love mice. I just love them. It's a weird obsession that I have lol.
Not gonna lie op1 8k is definitely a solid mouse but it's not the golden mouse of the century that everyone is making it out to be. It definitely has issues
@@CeeAyeJay😏 now that we know your a hardcore Aimer we need to see you play CSGO or your preferred game of choice
Very informative video, thanks! I've been thinking about buying one for a long time and it's time to order one. The value for money is off the charts.
Just one problem: it will only be available to US and EU in limited quantities.
@@funkabomb not a problem at all
motion sync between 8k and 4k shouldnt be too crazy of a difference
@@keeshh06 If you're thinking of suggesting freight-forwarding service, I'm not going to pay for fees that will undoubtedly cost much more than the mouse itself.
where do you have the info about a new OP1 8K could find anything about it.
I love that you love the OP1. I remember getting the OP1we when it released and you were one of the few that reviewed it! It truly is the best shape on the market full stop.
When Viscose uploads u know it's a good day ❤
Still on my Razer Viper Ultimate due to the amazing charging dock. Not having to charge your mouse is so underrated and is what had kept me on this mouse all these years
Shape is king! Op1 is wayy too small for my 21x11cm hands, but great it works for you
yes for me very small but i adjusted in 1month of use, deathadder v3 still the king and op18k is the queen
My hands are the same size, you just need some time to get used to it then you’re good to go!
You could try the xm2we or zowie za13-c
@@xIamKashy have both! My main mouse is still the thorn 4k
would it work for a 17,5x10cm =?
The timing of the video can't be better I am getting my OP1 8K tomorrow so I am excited to use it , thank for the heads up
Share your feelings about new Mouse bro
Before u all jump to this, google info about how 8K polling affects your PC and its requirement's. Its not that simple
just reduce the polling rate to 4k or 2k. 2k is the limit of whatll give you tangible input latency benefits anyway
Frozoken that's the thing, if we are going to limit the polling rate to lower numbers why would we buy a 8kHz mice? hardware limits should be considered before buying
@Gawlex Literally just because they're not 1k polling rate lmao, thats why. Almost nothing is 2k tops. it's either 1k, 4k or 8k
@@GawlexFor every other benefit mentioned?
@@Gawlexlow weight, no need to charge, click latency very low, low price, best cable, easy software.
This days is difficult find a mouse that doesn’t support 4/8khz, it’s just the modern thing going on, it’s like light weight couple of years back, but you can change it to 500hz or 1khz, still the click goes very low even without the gx speed
I literally bought this mouse a month ago thinking switching to wired would suck but it’s actually so good
Not sure if I got a new version of the Viper V3 but mine came with the 4-8k dongle in the box for the $159 but the price is so good on the OP1 8k so I still agree on the value.
i've been using mine (all stock for now bc i'm moving soon) for a little over 3 months and i agree with all of your points. even with my comparatively larger hands to the mouse, everything feels insane overall.
I love the RVMSE Shape but after trying the ULX Cheetah weight (35g) and how balance it is compared to my front heavy RVMSE i haven’t been using it since,
So how’s the base swap going on with you is it still sturdy and built well or are you experiencing side creaking?
I have watched a lot of your videos in the past and after i saw this video i ordered myself this mouse, it should arrive today im so excited to start using it!
what polling rate do you use on kovaaks i cant seem to use 4-8k whilst others can. am i missing something?
I have same issue even though my hardware is good
Kovaaks can't really do 4k and 8k easily unless you're on the latest Windows 11 builds, and even then it can be spotty for other games too.
@@oskartu12check if your discord overlay is on or not. Same thing happened to me. After turning off the overlay and everything is fine
Mouse being wireless makes the most sense from all the gear , cause it makes you feel the freedom of moving the mouse anywhere without having issues with a cable,
Felt the exact same way then I tried the OP1 8k I have the pulsar monitor mount bungee and trust me the cable pretty much non existent feeling atp
wow... such a good video, im convinced that this will be my main mouse in the future
i am kinda happy seeing a video of you reviewing the mouse i bought like a few months ago and praising it. was getting buyers remorse seing everyone shit on me having a wired mouse. but this helped thanks!
Is this a boy or girl no offense I just cant tell ?
bro i tought the same things just for curiosity
The day you upload is the best your content and writing is extremely high quality and always make sense keep up the good work Viscose
The best channel for me, thank you my sister, keep going 👍🏼
your comments on the shape are the exact reasons i love my egg shape (g203) so much lol, + the inward slope on the sides that helps with liftoff. using any other mouse i just don't feel like i have nearly as much control. tried dozens of mice and then got an egg 4 years ago and never went back. just got an mchose g3 and i'm gonna be modding the shit out of it soon
You are amazing and an inspiration. I started seriously aim training thanks to you and got me in this incredible world of progressing and becoming better at aiming. Thank you!
Your editing is so good honestly. I know the actual topic of your videos is amazing too but your editing is so smooth! Satisfying to watch. Insane
I used to want everything to be wireless but like I've been using an old zowie s2 divina and I love never having to think about charging I might upgrade to this mouse after the video. Keep up the great content! :)
Good old FTL Music in the outro. love it!
I've had mine since May and I *love* it. 0 complaints. It's just great.
*slowly gets op1we back out*
I've been really enjoying the Sora V2 but agree that the OP1 is pretty special shape wise. I do have Kailh GM 8.0 to put in too which massively help since stiff clicks ruin my pistol spam + micro adjustment in CS. Your notes about points of contact while maintaining some finger movement helped me understand the OP1 grip a little better, thanks!
Favorite mnk TH-camr btw you make me wanna start playing mnk again and learning to improve
Ive had the XM1r & I currently have the OP1 8k. Completely agree with everything you have said in this video, though as I have large hands I do find I get fatigue alot quicker than on my old XM1r. Looks like I am going to get the XM2 8K ....
youve probably got a lot of comments like this but goodness you present your videos so well, the way you speak just kept me entertained when i usually dont like watching reviews, and you have such a calm yet powerful voice which isnt too hard and loud on the ear, yet it keeps viewers to stay and when paired with the way you present the info in your videos it makes it entertaining asf
keep that shi up
So much value for money with this mouse.
I haven’t tried it yet cause I’m enjoying the op1we at the moment but after watching this I kinda wanna open it up now xD ps your videos are the best❤️❤️❤️
these are the best real-world use points i've ever heard. great job
I’ve bought many mice over the years, whatever was trendy/new release or (shocking) mice but this is hands down the best mouse I’ve ever used. the wire isn’t an issue at all for me (I do have a bungee).
holyyyyyyy, I legit just bought this mouse 2 days ago and you post this video, common Viscose W 🙏
It's pretty straightforward to me. I don't like the burden of keeping batteries or charging my stuff. Every peripheral is wired, end of story.
honestly that alone is probably why id struggle to go back to wireless now
huge vouch for the op18k, its the only mouse where i can actually feel a noticeable improvement in performance over all my other mice
I have wide, but shorter hands (17.5x10), and I found that shapes like the Sora fit way better for me.
i can def see how the width would be an issue with hands that size yea :/
you could try layering grip tape if you have any spare? ik a few ppl who have done that and its helped
@@ViscoseOCE I did indeed give that a try, it just felt uncomfortable to me as the part I'm gripping isn't supported by a thick shell 😂
Fantastic review as always Viscose!
thank you for uploading video at higher than 1080p or 1440p ( i jave a 1080 monitor with bad internet i can't even use 720p)
had this mouse for two months now, saw it used on german ebay for 50€ and I only wanted to try it out of curiosity, hasn't left my desk ever since and left all my other mice in the dust, absolutely incredible product
yo I love this mouse so far, im picking it up in 2 weeks and beautiful detailed review but damnnn those clips are crazy !!!! Subbed! ;)
i switched from deathadder v3 wired to this and it feels great. thanks for your recommendation!
haven't heard a soul bring up how it was adapted differently shape-wise from every other companies "mini" lines, i feel enlightened tbh
Although I’m worried about it being too narrow for me personally since I have 19x11 hands :( my Atlantis Mini 4K gives me hand cramps at times bc of the thin grip width.
the op1 is wider at the base
im enjoying the op18k a lot, just orderd a hitscan hyperlight, from what ive compared on eloshapes, they are practically identical in terms of size, but i have not found a mouse that suits my grip style in a long time. At first I was doubting going back to wired but it performs far better than i initially expected
bought this mouse beacuse of this video and I freaking love it! thank you so much! its the only mouse ive ever been excited about
I'm stuck on the OP1 shape since day one, the OP1 8k and the stock grips made it 100x better.
Its crazy because holding the op18k for the first time made me feel how a younger me felt when holding the OG viper mini for the first time.
Completely agree with you Viscose :) another great video!! keep it up
I recently picked up the OP1WE and it's great, I like it more than my X2H mini
Great video! This mouse was mostly interesting to me because of its easily accessible screws making it great for enthusiasts. If you've got big hands, I'm sure you could just 3d print a new shell if you really wanted.
Thank you for the video, your aim is so smooth 🫠
ty!!
my op18k comes in Monday! im so excited 🙏
hope u like it!!
Thanks!
your mouse control is genuinely impressive bro
Great review. Hit everything that makes me love the mouse as well. Earned a sub
Honestly such a great mouse after using it low-key my favorite part is the coating
EGG are above the competition.
shape is definitely king the op1 was just way too narrow and flat for me to use it properly but sora and maya fits so well
0:21 Indeed, I see the armoury is well to be honoured.
I have numerous mouse, even various custom made mice, and more that I built myself. In spite of all that, I am maining the OP1 8k. That being said, I did have to eventually replace the middle mouse button, which required soldering since it is not hot-swappable like the others.
