Man with all that rain we had I got stuck for the first time ever in 4 years. Had to call a tow truck. Ended up losing a job right after because they wanted it the grass. I told them I just paid a tow truck to pull me out at another place and was not going through that again.

That has got to be the worst way to load with that type of machine should have a grapple rake way less dirt would be in thqg lod

I would skip johmmy and charles and id take my letter straight to the mayor because most times youll get somewhere the mayor overrides charles and johnny . if its a closed city then if someones house or business burns down who does the demo and removal . ive rented dumpsters plenty of times and has someone who does commerical renovations i try and find the best price for my clients sometimes a dumpster company will say if you rent 4 dumpsters we will give you the 5th free . also i thought if you own the land its private property so your allowed to put a dumpster on it has long has its not on a city street or city lane and i never knew the city has the right to tresspass on private property .

honestly picking up the bin would have helped out having some weight on the truck

always try to hit it right the first time you have a good chance to get out .The more you jocky around the worse it gets always try keeping the truck facing out in case you need to be pulled out and never include the neighbors and i mean never .I tell our drivers that all the time stay off the neighbors property

Don't know if it would be worth it or not for yall, but look into a Tire Boss system. I used to run a concrete mixer and we had them on all of our trucks. You can deflate your tires when entering a job site or wherever where it's muddy and you know the ground is soft and get way better traction. And then it uses the trucks air to inflate them back up when going back on the road. Also let's you know if a tire is leaking bad or not

My biggest concern is how we are going to survive all these financial and political crises, especially the power struggle in the US. The government has really made things difficult for its citizens and we cannot just sit by and suffer the consequences of bad governance🙏...

What size is your truck?

So on your big rig truck when your cans full how much can you haul ? How do you know every time you’re not going over weight limit with different types of loads ?

What if you have an 4500 or 5500 truck with GVWR 19500 and a trailer with GVWR 10000?

This has already been in court and they lost! Sixth circuit court. Started searching after my city sent me a cease and desist letter in not only the city but my entire county! It is amazing how often this comes up and has to be explained. You did good with showing where to find the info and how it’s factored. The short explanation is, if you’re in a 10k trailer state then just get a CDL. If you’re not then stick with a 3/4 ton and a single wheel two axle trailer and you are fine. If you want to get the “big boy” truck and trailer, than be a big boy and get your CDL and DOT numbers. Not being rude, but so many guys want the big truck and big trailer to haul more weight but don’t want the license to do so, there is no loop hole.

Do you need a dot number for a combination weight, pick up truck and Trailer intrastate for under 26k? Or do you only need a dot # if your truck goes over 10,000 lbs Does the trailer weight matter for having a dot #?

10.000 plus 14,000 equals 24,000 so that leaves you with a 2,000lb capacity for trailer payload. If you get stopped and weighed with a payload of 2001 pounds, you will be over weight and or need a CDL
