    How many transfer stations are there in Massachusetts. I know of Grant in Hydepark champion city in brockton and one in taunton. Are there any more? I had an all around maintenance company where i provided junk removal. But now im only going to do junk removal since its been one of my more popular services. But just wondering on what rransfer stations you go to if you can provide that info. Love your videos by the way Great help for us just starting.

    Great video Steve. Yeah I'm never in my area the cheap guy not worth it to be the cheapest idiot in town. The only type of jobs I usually one of the cheaper guys out of the junk removal companies in my area is on larger concrete removal jobs (jobs over -2 truck bed loads ) but still usually higher than the excavation companies that that's all they do . The only reason is because I own 2 bobcat tractors and also a Kubota tractor and can knock them out with 3-5 times the capacity with my F750 dump truck in the same amount of time but I still have different price points depending on how many square feet, how thick, what size tractor can we use bigger or smaller one, or if it has to be broken and hauled out by hand.
    What type of trunk did you end up ordering from JRA. I know that Lee uses a lot of the Isuzu style of trucks but didn't know if he would build one on a Ford, Chevy, or Dodge style of Cab and chassis.. I am torn between doing another junk removal designated truck or a hook lift/ roll-off style truck.

    I only have one local viable landfill and they charge 70 dollars minimum. They also charge by cubic yards instead of weight for loads over 3 yards at 17 dollars/yard and it doesn't matter how full your load is. If you have a 10 yard trailer they charge 170 dollars no matter if it's stuffed 10' high or has a single microwave in it. Is this normal? Because it doesn't appear so. I've heard the employees are rude and just eyeball guess the yardage of your truck/trailer.

    Hi Steve, I dont know if you'll see this but, do you charge the customer dump fees + labor + volume? And also I recently purchased a 2022 Toyota Tacoma. That should be sufficient for pulling a medium trailer for hauling correct?

    • @SteveConroy1
      @SteveConroy1  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, include all of that and call it your volume rate. Give your customer numbers from an empty - full truck. Don't confuse them with charging this and charging that. Tacoma should do it if your not hauling heavy often

    • @clutterreductionjunkremoval
      @clutterreductionjunkremoval 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I used uhuals for my first year and half because in long run it was more affordable by not having to pay for a truck/ins if I'm not booked that day.. but idk about using a 26', gas wise it'll drain costs. Maybe a 12-17' truck. I used 15' (764 cuft) uhual truck and if I filled it up, I would explain that it's about 1.5x the size of your typical Junk truck and would charge as 1.5x loads. But I only used 20/26' trucks on BIG jobs to minimize loads and dump runs mid job. And then charge accordingly
