Great info! Thanks!! About to fix another front end one of my kids wrecked and got a lot of info and tips I didn't know before to make it easier and everything line up better. Thanks for sharing your work.
Just went over an oil spill coming out of a roundabout this afternoon and my car went under the guard rail looking exactly like the one you're working on in this video, I'll definitely reference you a lot haha
I dont mean to be so offtopic but does someone know a trick to get back into an instagram account? I was stupid forgot the password. I would love any tips you can give me.
@Bennett Lachlan i really appreciate your reply. I got to the site through google and Im in the hacking process atm. Looks like it's gonna take a while so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
I'm not as terrified to tackle my front end issue now. Mine is not nearly as badly jacked up, all the damage is low. I might have to do the rad support, bumper, and a bunch of suspension stuff and that's it. Thanks for putting this up, I really appreciate it.
Great video. Though the Radiator support didn’t exactly match the over spray on the driver side, does that mean the frame needs to be pulled on the fender side? Does it matter for frame alignment or it can be ignored without any affect?
@@JonnyBarajas this is so helpful, I just involved an accident and really need this reliable quote, now I know the estimate price of fixing my car, thank you so much
I got the same issue that piece I’m not able to find anywhere it’s part of the chassis but i ended up bending back into its original place & spot welded it back on
If you don’t mind me asking what is a typical labor charge for this type of front end job? I’m asking because I’m buying a car from auction and just curious what guys will charge to do the labor including painting the new parts.
Johnny thank you so much for the video. I have the same car with the same damage. Looking into getting it fixed. Where do you get all the frame parts and how can I identify the parts so I know what to order? You seem to know all the part names. Great job brother. Thank you.
Much harder to keep it straight if the frame is what is used to line up every panel in place. Definitely possible, but if it moved the strut towers I wouldn't bother unless its a dedicated race car.
Where are you located I’d be interested if you’d be able to do some work on my 03 Mitsubishi Eclipse I rear ended someone but wasn’t going crazy fast it’s some front end damage just the crash bar, front bumper, headlights, radiator Nd Ac compressor to my knowledge
Its a combination of the mounting and panels, if the mounting point is not straight, that needs to be fixed before you can align the panels for proper panel gap.
@@JonnyBarajas thanks for the advice! When I have time ima have to remove all the panels and check the mounting! My headlights are popping out and hood is off alignment. 06 is250
you got a ig, i need some help on my bumper gap, i already changed the bumper brackets now it doesn’t even attached to bumper it sags lot, please help! i would go to you but i remember you told me you from AZ , i’m from. CA
Love the handling on the car but unfortunately servicing it is a bi**h , especially when replacing the plugs. You need tiny hands😂🤣. Wish I got ur vids to look at when I had my 86.
What's the purpose of this video tutorial? You ate not educating anyone on how to do that job but only on what you done. You showed 5% of how to do that work. Lol
How do you remove the weld spots
Use a drill. That’s how I did it, when thing starts getting serious I used use a grinder with a cutting wheel. Don’t forget your PPE
Where do you get the core support from

@Bennett Lachlan It did the trick and I actually got access to my account again. I'm so happy!
Thank you so much, you saved my ass!

Aye man do u know how u can fix the gaps between the hood and fender ?

Weird question but where did you get that tent that you working in ? I just got a salvage car. But i dont have a garage at my house to work on it.
I wish that I had you in my life. I would go to you but I'm in Texas. (Houston)

Its all part of the adjustment, you can throw the front end together to make sure it fits perfect before finalizing the install with some welds.
@@JonnyBarajas great. Thanks for your informative video. I’m going to try to fix my daughter’s G6 with similar damage
What's the rough estimate cost to fix something like this, parts and labour included?
Parts and labor, around 2-3k.

How Much Does A Job Like This Cost? Excluding The Price Of The Parts?
10:28-10:29 how do you replace that piece? I’ll subscribe rn bro, is it a cut and weld situation? I have the new piece already

How did you get the hood released? The 'taco' I'm dealing with has the latch jammed up.
My 2013 has similar damage could you send me the parts list you ordered
Very nice 👌 man I wish I could do body work like that any good school you would recommend?
I don't know, didn't go to school. I just learned from doing and working at various small shops.
Bro what turbo manifold you have on your frs?
Equal length or Unequal length?
JDL Unequal length turbo manifold from their turbo Kits
did you have to replace the hood hinges?
Yes.
Wish you were located near me so you could fix mine that has almost the same damage but only on the left front side
Johnny thank you so much for the video. I have the same car with the same damage. Looking into getting it fixed. Where do you get all the frame parts and how can I identify the parts so I know what to order? You seem to know all the part names. Great job brother. Thank you.
Awesomeness
How to you get the original spot welds off?
I actually use a tool called spot weld remover. it's like a drill bit that only removes the weld.
@@JonnyBarajas good to know. Thanks
If the frame in the front is messed up can the car still be fixed.
