It's been about 6 months using the Go-Pri m hearing aids. As I said before, it has been a game changer for me. It continues to provide quality hearing. Maintaining them is easy and I have recommended them to many of my colleagues
Just received my GoPrime hearing aids from Best Buy today and am VERY impressed with them. Once you understand how to adjust the volume and the 3 modes of frequency they are super easy to adjust and that they stay to your adjustment every time you pull them out of the tiny recharge box. They are strong amplifiers and really work VERY well for the price. I've got mine on the normal frequency and the volume is at 1 and I can hear EVERYTHING very well. For only $300.00 I am totally amazed at the sound, simplicity, and rechargeability (no more changing out batteries every week) of these hearing aids. There are much better aids out there but they are MUCH more expensive too!

I had a set of $5000 Oticon hearing aids a couple of years ago. I found that they had a very thin (not full) sound, actually increased road noise while driving, go through batteries, and also would get itchy very quickly. I brought them back to the audiologist for MULTIPLE adjustments and never was satisfied with the sound, ESPECIALLY for what I paid for them. I'm thinking I might give these a try.
Well without knowing your hearing test results, but these OTC HAS are primarily for mild / moderate hearing loss. If you have moderate severe to profound loss then these will not give you the full benefits. Go to miracle ear, Beltone, or Costco get tested. I recommend Costco because of their great services and cost of Hearing aids are fraction in comparison to Miracle ear and Beltone. Check out the video we have about stop paying so much. Thanks for reviewing. We are going to try them. We had to return the new Sony CRE-E10 after it said it couldn’t set up a profile for the pair. My Mom has almost total loss in one ear. Hope one of the 3 defined profiles will help her.
Sounds like your mom has severe hearing loss. The OTC most likely won’t benefit much since they primarily for mild/moderate loss. Go to hearing aid center and see what loss she has. She might benefit more from an actual hearing aid. Check out Costco or Miracle ear. Hope this helps!
This is one of the most well done reviews I have ever watched on any type product. Excellent job! I do have a question about how well they stay in your ear. Right now i am using MDHearing Pro's and that company changed the ear pieces so that they no longer fit my ears and only have tiny tubes which reduces the volume. Personally, they fit my ears just fine but as you well know, EVERYBODY's ears are different and this is one of the things i DIDN'T like about these hearing aids. I wish they had one size smaller for the domes but they only come with the 2 sizes, Large and not so large lol. The good thing is, you can order them from best buy and the return process was SO easy! I took them back, didn't even have a receipt and they didn't even open the box to make sure they were in there. So i would suggest, try em out and if they dont fit or stay in your ears, take em back. yes i can! So thank goodness these domes are a little too big to actually get stuck in your ear if they aren't on properly. The opening of the dome has to "stretch" around the end of the receiver. What i did was just press it on, and then take your finger and just apply pressure straight down on the dome and kind of wiggle your finger around and that should do the trick. If you have anymore trouble, im pretty sure i included me putting the domes on so watch that part again! Let me know if you have any trouble!

Hello, I found replacement domes on eBay. 5 domes for 7.87. These are clones. The only difference is the clones dont have the molded + over the hole. It's only a hole. This shouldn't be a problem if you're using earwax guards. I ordered some and they fit perfectly. They actually feel better, the seem to have a better grip.

I would like to order direct from the manufacturer but they will not just sell domes. You have to pay 16 dollars for the kit which includes: 4 x Small domes 4 x Medium domes 4 x Large domes 8 x Wax guards 1 x Brush 1 x Screwdriver 3 x Blister packs of drying capsules I wear the large domes, I don't need the extra small and medium. I have plenty of wax guards and brushes. I have an electric dehumidifier and why would I need to order a screwdriver every month, the Prime doesn't even need one. I wish the manufacturer would sell these items seperate.
I have a question about frequency response. I am doing a sound test using Bose speakers. When I have the Go Hearing aids in the high frequency cuts off at 9 Khz, even when in the high frequency program. When they are out I can hear up to 15 khz. Are higher frequecies an issue with all hearing aids?
Yes, if you have severe to profound loss in the high frequencies, most prescription hearing aids won't amplify the highs that are in the profound loss range, around 90dB or more on an audiogram. Instead, what these hearing aids do is shift the high frequencies that you really can't hear anymore to a lower frequency that you can hear. The feature is usually called frequency lowering or sound shifter or something similar. When you talk about frequency response, what program or software are you using to do this? Is this like using Real Ear Measurement?

Yes unfortunately that the downfall of the OTC is the limited sizes and supplies.

Which wax guards can I use. Go Hearing has scammy policy. You can't just order wax guards. You have to purchase the whole accessories kit.
Go to Amazon and try to order cerustop wax filters. They should work with the GoPrime OTC

It is an Over the counter hearing aid. We do not do reviews on amplifiers.
SUGGEST have digital hearing aids show. For me they are much better than blue tooth
