2022 BMW M240i xDrive Coupe Review - Almost PERFECT!

- The New BMW M240i xDrive is so close my favourite car that I owned which was a 2008 BMW 335i XI Coupe which in my eyes was perfect. The beauty of this car is the overall balance of power, handling and size. This 2dr coupe is so fun to drive and doesn't feel like so many other sport sedans that have really grown in size .The M240i as Goldilocks would say is just right.

Thanks for sharing Brian! The rock between the brake shield happened to me on my New Beetle, MKV Golf and my GLI... so far it's not happened on any of my Audi'. I remember when it first happened I freaked out, there wasn't friction in the brake pedal or rolling resistance but that NOISE!!

My BMW has done that same rock thing a couple times before. First time I was on a long road trip, to go up to a ski lodge, and the roads were graveled. I thought I was totally screwed. I just kept going in drive and reverse and eventually it worked itself out.

I bought one last November for my wife. We love it. It gets better gas mileage than advertised. In all weather tires it does 60 in 3.8 seconds consistently, but it is limited to 132mph because of the tires.. It's a blast anyway!

Great review, I can't stop watching videos about this car, I ordered one back in December, M240i xDrive, thundernight, red calipers, black leather interior, bi-color alloys, every extra apart from the sun roof (I always hated them ever since I had one leak on me and trashed the car), and videos like this just make me want it NOW. Sad thing is, I keep getting updates from the factory telling me it's delayed, original delivery was set for late July, then it got pushed to August, then September, now I've been told something about slots being filled and awaiting a further update. I'll be patient I guess, I assume it'll be worth the wait? Here's hoping...

I ordered mine in November. It went into production last week. Delivery should be end of March. So, 17 weeks total wait.

@@samuelreid603 Mine is Brooklyn grey with black Verona’s a leather. I didn’t black out the grill and door mirrors as I like the cerium grey. And I got all the options. Including the wheels brakes and cooling package. ☺️
@@samuelreid603 Yeah, I must have hit a bad patch... I am also in the UK, so the right hand drive might be what's slowing it up...
I got you the 230i coupe. It’s not as powerful but it’s still quick and very nimble. You save a lot if you minimize options. MSRP with the Convenience Pk.-$39k.

Yup. Wanted to get yo to some sort of speed but when slowing down, it was terrible
I am so sick of that purple I wish they had some press cars in another color. I just ordered one in Brooklyn Grey it looks so much better in that color.
Next time you get a rock stuck up there stop. Go in reverse than forward, reverse, forward. It will usually fall out.
Is purple the only color this gets reviewed in?
If it’s in Canada, it might be the same car that’s just made it’s rounds.

It's ridiculous to do such a thing by BMW! If a compact coupe grows in size it should certainly offer more overall interior room or its pointless imo!

You'll be upgrading your driving experience in every way possible, and have the B58, and that is the reason this car is worth every penny trust me!👍
Check out the BMW rear wheel drive 230i coupe. Quick enough and handles great. MSRP minimally optioned is about $39k. It’s a daily driver priced right with same styling as M240i, with luxury interior and excellent mpg.
Nice but I'll stick with my 2020 M340. Same power, serves all my needs and the back end is better looking. Same wheels as my winter set up.
The M340 is lovely. But it’s also very conservative. I really like the M240 as I think it’s a bit more modern and edgy.
