3 most difficult characters done, less stress from now on..
I added an insight of the dragon battle at the end to show you guys how difficult it is for assassins to take down the final boss.

Jaffar, the Angel of Death, can be considered as one of the best pre-promotes due to his high speed at 24. Still, being an ice affinity assassin isn't that useful as the best supports he can get still probably doesn't give much critical rate or attack, making the silencers occur less frequently.

Why is Jaffar's HP and Luck stat not being able to cap?
He starts off as a level 13 assassin with only 34HP and 10 Luk, with all the statboosters in HHM, the highest HP and Luk he will get is:
34 (Base) + 7 (Stat gain every level) + 14 (2 Angelic Robes) = 55 HP
10 (Base) + 7 (Stat gain every level) + 6 (3 Goddess Icons) = 23 Luk

Jaffar VS Legault:
With the same affinity, but with lower Con and lower maximum potential, it's safe to assume that using Jaffar is much more difficult than Legault. Also, Legault can support with the same exact units comparing with Jaffar, while including 2 extra supporting characters. A direct powercreep indeed, unless you are talking about playing the game with 0% growths.

The difficulties listed in the video probably gave you an insight on how tedious it is to do an assassin solo, let alone the one with the least favourable affinity and lowest maximum potential.
The real reason why Matthew is a tier above (easier than) Jaffar/Legault in terms of difficulty:
At their maximum potential, excluding the use of dance rings, Matthew can do 5 damage with 16% critical chance while Jaffar/Legault can only do 2 damage with 8% critical chance against the dragon.
2.5 times damage, with double critical rate, this allows Matthew to defeat the dragon with less chances of breaking the weapon. It also means that Matthew can use other weapons because he don't have to bring that much elixirs compared to Jaffar/Legault. - เกม

Come on Siaoz, Jaffar could've taken the dragon out. All you needed was to hit 20 crits in a row with a 8% crit chance and dodge almost every 83% attack. That sounds like no problem.

You know, about Matthew, couldn’t you have just stockpiled his inventory with 3 killing edges? Nergal doesn’t have immunity against silencer criticals, so you don’t have to waste Regal blade uses before you encounter the dragon.

Elixirs to last through the dragon battle though...
Every turn = 1 use.
1 inventory slot for every 3 uses.
Even if Matthew procs critical for every single hit, he requires 8 criticals, meaning 3 slots just for elixirs.. I haven't account on how many elixirs I would need to use during Nergal's chapter too. I don't think he will have any slots left for the killing edges, while having to keep one extra slot for the Regal Blade.

Hey the Siaoz, cool video as usual. Dont know if you play FE6 at all but I was just replaying it & came across the secret shop. Turns out you can keep giving Boots to any character until their movement caps at 15. Didn’t end up doing anything crazy with it but I feel like it could spark a couple ideas for future challenges

FE6 doesn't give me any good ideas, Idoun's chapter is too short, while Zephiel's chapter takes too long for a solo (even with 15 movement). Most likely just the "is it possible?" series for FE6. Thanks for the suggestions though.

What I'm trying to figure out is how tf do your characters EXACTLY max their stats (like your stat boosters are JUST enough to get max stats o_O)

1. Calculate max stats for class. (Karla caps at 30 Spd.)
2. Calculate differences between base and max. (Karla has 18 base, meaning that I will need 12 spd increase)
3. Calculate number of statboosters available. (HHM has 3 speedwings, meaning Karla only require 6 spd increase without statboosters)
4. Making sure you get the required stats before hitting level 20.
5. Repeat step 1~4 for every other stat.

After watching your Journey Videos I started making some for my channel for funs why not give Jaffar a ArmorSlayer against Darin plus that’s the luckiest deadliest Jaffar silencing I ever saw Props💯
Armorslayer isn't that useful because Darin has too much Def, Lightbrand (magic damage) would be a better choice, it has ranged attack too. If you prefer safety over damage, lancereaver can reduce Darin's hit rate close to 0%, so you can save elixirs.
Anyway, glad to see that other players also attempt this too.

They're all the stat boosters you get over the course of HHM. He just stockpiled them until the final chapter.

What this video proves to me given so also played this game, is that Assassins are by far one of the best classes to have at your disposal. As long as you take care of their stats properly they can kill nearly anything in the game. There isn’t much they can’t do plus you have other units that cover anything the assassins can’t deal with head on. 🤷🏻♂️ Case and point...
Let's see.. assassins are weapon-locked, no ranged attack without sacrificing damage output (e.g. lightbrand), no supportive skills like heal or dance, average movement and no rescue tactics like mounts, loses their only steal ability just to be a RNG-inclined swordmaster with lower stats.
You even said "plus you have other units that cover anything assassins can't deal with head on.", which is funny because they can't deal with so many things.
Ever wondered why Jaffar dies easily to average enemies in battle before dawn, yet Pent is able to solo the entire desert chapter even against the bosses?
@@thesiaoz I never had Jaffar struggle with anything on my runs plus besides what you have said you fail to understand none of that matters when you have lethal with any crit. That automatically changes every engagement, also yes that’s why the other units are there and despite assassins proving to be able to solo most of the game and levels based on my run and even your video. It’s safe to say that they are a fine class despite having a few discrepancies.
@@thesiaoz Also remember, in the name.... “Assassin”. Any unit that isn’t exotic like a dragon they do fine against. Even in your play-through it shows. Assassins are good regardless. I understand it’s not attractive that they lack in those areas you’ve stated but it doesn’t mean that they are not usable. They literally can “assassinate” any mounted/armored/ infantry-unit with good equipment and proper approach. 👍🏼

You can't defend a unit just by saying the name "assassin" instead of using actual gameplay mechanics. If names are comparable then "hero" is the best since they always have plot armor in a story.

Also, "proving to be able to solo most of the game and levels based on my run and even your video", the funny thing about this is that I am able to solo with all the characters and yet the only class that I considered awful in these runs are assassins because their limited capabilities require so much luck on their side just to survive.
If you want a rough estimate on how easy these solos are, just look at the video duration (better units require less thinking). Assassins take much longer than, let's say Dart, and that's when I even excluded the dragon battle for them.
An example, Dart can pretty much eliminate all the enemies on enemy phase, including the pesky ranged ones, while an assassin would still have to take hits every turn and has to player-phase them one by one. A crit from Dart is also pretty much lethality since his Str is insanely high, while having access to 1~2 range, berserker's higher critical rates, etc. Having said that, yet Dart is not even my best unit for my character journey videos.

About 6~8 characters per run?
Jaffar and Legault shares about the same supports, meaning that Nino/Matthew will need another save file to get with their best affinity support. While I am able to do multiple runs in the same file, but I can't do too many on just one due to support limits.

Technically relying on Criticals should be enough to doing a Jaffar solo, since 2×3×25 = 150 damage, enough to take on the dragon.
There's no way he can survive 25 rounds of combat with the dragon solo though. Even if he could carry 5 elixirs he can't heal enough to survive
The fact that he NEED a silencer (even if the rate is pretty high) to kill darin is already bad enough tbh.
On normal playthroughs i find Jaffar to be better then Legault, since he has a str base of 19 but legault only gets around 12-13 on promo, still not amazing due to the assasin class but still.
Why do older Feh videos not have people replying, but rather just making a comment to respond to another? And uh, why didn’t you give him Light brand or other weapons that would have solved your difficulties, like no long range weapons?

@@regem9121 the Durandal of Fire Emblem Binding Blade can be used by S-Rank Sword Users if I remember correctly. Here (Fire Emblem Blazing Sword) just Eliwood alone can use it. I have an not very good english since I'm spanish.

I’ll be honest, I only commented on this video just because I didn’t want to get ignored but I just watched your showcase on Karla and I have a question. I’ve been trying to build teams around Karla and Karel but it just hasn’t worked out. Maybe I’m not used to their play style, but I never find any success outside of my main team.
Trial 1:
Karla, Soren, nowi, Azura
The idea was that Soren would help Karla with debuffs, Nowi tanks for Karla and Soren, and Azura provides buffs and dances.
Found out that because I’m new, I don’t have the resources to invest into Nowi, and this was a flop, kept dying
Trial 2: Karla, BLyn, W! Chrom, Cordelia
The idea was that BLyn would take care of things Karla couldn’t kill like a janitor, and kill other blyns, Chrom tanks, and Cordelia provides support. I didn’t have an effective answer for mages and Karla’s poor bulk was my downfall.
Trial 1B:
Karel, Julia, Effie, Innes
Julia would take care of dragons since they tend to run guard, and kill blues, Effie is the tank, and Innes deals with mages. Innes wasn’t as effective as I thought he would be and Karel didn’t do as much damage as I thought he would do. Granted, I don’t have the refine on his weapon, but I don’t know if that would have made a difference.
Is there something I’m missing? I never get these player phase swords right, and it really frustrates me because I want to use them, but I can’t figure it out. I’m also relatively new to this game and quite obviously, team building hasn’t been working out. Can you help me here?
Edit: also, BLyn was a pain to deal with in general if she was on the enemy team

You are at the wrong video to talk about FEH though, but I guess I'll just reply anyway. My approach to build a team is just to cover the weaknesses of a character, nothing more. I don't enhance their strengths, just covering weaknesses. I came up with the Arvis+Titania build based on that too, let me give you another example.
My steps to build revolving Karla:
1. Karla is afraid of blues, swordbreakers, etc. So I build a Soren to cover her weakness of blues, and the lack of magic damage in the team. Then...
2. Now my next step is to cover Soren's weaknesses, and along with Karla's if both aren't covered. One example is that they are both infantry units, will be hindered by movement due to terrains and such, also, with the lack of blues in the team. So...
3. This allows me to build a Catria, since she is able to fly, and Guidance is a great seal for both Karla and Soren to travel around with. She does have a weakness against bows, where Karla and Soren aren't exactly good at baiting them too. So...
4. Then I will add a high defense dragon (Nowi?), colours are not really a thing since I have them all covered. Just keep building until you don't have a clear weakness, then your team is set.
If you really just want an easy way out, just build your team based on your default units, L!Ike, Fjorm, Anna and Takumi (mine was Virion back then). Once you have your merged units then replace them one by one.
