Finally, the journey has ended.
Sorry guys, I don't really have the motivation to do the 0% growths, school is really hectic this week. I promise I'll get back on it next weekend.

My goodness, I took this request way before I started on 50% of the character journeys. Still, this took way too long because I don't have the right strategy, or the luck, to complete this.. until now.

Yes, Lyn, the female lord known for her stouthearted personality, and maybe her game-physics. I'm glad to see they kept that awesome physics in her valentine alternate in Heroes.
Anyway, this is very similar to unpromoted Eliwood's run, but Lyn had less favourable supports, lower con, and a worse dragon-slaying weapon. This makes her a weaker version of Eliwood.
Without fire supports, Lyn's combat potential is greatly reduced.
While non-promoted units had a Spd cap of 20, Lyn's low Con further reduces this value when a heavy sword is equipped.
The difference between the difficulty whether Lyn is promoted is unreal. Everytime I recorded this, I always wondered why I accepted this challenge in the first place. Luckily, I got it right this time. Trust me, I will never attempt this again.

@@ShadowdaHedgie11 no you can’t. I was saying she only did as well as she did because rng, lyn is one of the worst lords in the games due to her awful defense and mediocre attack along with no HP. Speed and skill don’t make up everything
@@LightKing1237 Except you can still say that without good rng, a lot of characters would get 1 shot. There are quite a few ways to die in FE7. Luna Crit, simply getting doubled by a strong mage, your fliers getting picked off by archers or ballista... and you can't really call her out for awful defence and no HP in this video in particular, because guess what? Hector and Eliwood also have the same caps when they're unpromoted.
As for one of the worst lords... not really. Her speed means that, if trained, she'll dodge almost literally everything, and deal a fair few crits in return. There are worst lords, like Eirika, who is pretty much just a weaker Lyn, Roy, who is... fairly average, really, and even in the same game, there is Eliwood, who's supposed to be a balance between Lyn and Hector... but ends up being disappointing. He doesn't have the defence or strength of Hector to tank hits and destroy enemies, and he doesn't have the speed or skill of Lyndis to dodge tank and crit a lot. He just ends up being a disappointment, being unable to do either job that the other lords can.
In fact, tell you what, let's look at Lyn's average stats.
Unpromoted Lyn first.
HP - 32. Not terribly high, but not as low as you're trying to make out.
Str - 13. Again, kind of low, yes, would need a steel sword or higher to do any damage against a knight with maxed out defence, but you don't meet that many super tanky enemies in FE7. Plus, Mani Katti.
Skl - 20. Would be 22, but the max for unpromoted units is 20.
Spd - 20. Again, would be higher, this time 23, but stat caps.
Lck - 16
Def - 6, which is low, but is made up for with her high speed letting her avoid a lot.
Res - 6, again, low, but she'll dodge a lot.
Let's move onto the promoted Lyn, shall we?
HP - 49. Not really that low, all things considered.
Str - 23. So, one less below the cap, and hardly low, she'll be able to do damage fine to most enemies.
Skl - 29. She'll max it. Without stat caps, it would be 34.
Spd - 30. Again, she'll max it. Without stat caps, it would be 32.
Lck - 30, capping that out as well.
Def - 13, not much of an issue dude to her massive speed and luck.
Res - 15, which isn't terrible.
If I remember something I saw right, she actually has one of, if not the BEST stat growth total in the game.
Con is always... pretty low, so she can't wield anything above iron without paying a penalty, of course, but her speed is so high that it tends not to matter than much, especially if you're smart about it. Simply give her the Mani Katti, or, if that's broken, an armourslayer, maybe a lance reaver, stell sword and a steel bow, and she'll do absolutely fine.
RNG can actually ruin absolutely any character. So if you want to say that one character is bad because RNG can screw them over, guess what? All the characters can be bad if RNG screws them over.
@@ShadowdaHedgie11 oh my gods You really went that out of your way to look up her growth rates and tell me why each individual state is not actually bad. I do not have to time and motivation to debate without someone who’s trying that hard for a point on such a overrated character.
Lyn's animations are so good, I wish she was a better unit.

@@cond.oriano3264 same here, Lyn was my first unit to reach Lvl 20. With Lancereaver and Mani Katti she can hold a space well. But in my first playthrough she was useless against Nergal but still.
I'm so speechless right now. Just came home from performing, checked my messages and saw this. This was a perfect decompresser not in the action but the fact that this long series of trials is over. It's finally over. The amount of time, effort and calculation of each move to get through every journey is unimaginable! I'm so proud and relived for you! Your project here reminds me of what I've done in Nippon Ichi games. Having every character learn every spell and use all weapons. Each person being a one man or one woman army. It took me a few years to complete as well. Even with an active lifestyle!
I hope the new school year will stabilize for you soon. The first couple of weeks are always the hardest. Take one day at a time, catching up on rest while you have the little free time you get. You are a strategic god to mankind and I wish you all the best for your studies! If you can dominate most of the FE games flawlessly, then I know you can get through this school year and Ace your exams! Your Content never ceases to amaze!

I am still trying to get used to my timetable as my lectures always start around the time I usually sleep during the break. I feel like branching out from FE games to other genres after seeing your dedication on the Nippon Ichi games, kinda reminded me of the old times trying to get every single spell/weapon/item in "Riviera: the Promised Land", trying to unlock every ending too. Hopefully I can keep the channel active while trying to catch up with school, so you guys won't start disappearing when I am actually back.

All of the 3 Assassins should defeat the dragon, Taph Taph Taph!! But as a Group. Since they can't defeat them by themselves, why not do it as a team, "United we Stand" "Divided we fall" after all.
Supports are up to you whether you support them with someone Else, E.g: Matthew has an A with Guy
or Support all each other
E.g: Jaffar has B with Legault and Matthew and Vice Versa.

If the 3 assassins had to support each other, then Matthew highest damage output is just a 2, while Jaffar/Legault at 1. So basically, you are just asking me to RNG abuse.
Alternatively, you can watch Rolanmen1's Matthew solo, and then use your imagination, thinking that Oswin/Guy are actually Jaffar/Legault, because I'm not doing that assassin trio.
I comment at comment sections there's only one Fell Contract in the game, so it's impossible for both Matthew and Legault to become assassins. I don't think even the secret shop has it
@@floricel_112 yes there is. In the one chapter with Denning (Requires a Warp staff) it sells all promotional Items even Ocean Seal and Fell Contract. You can also train the second Assassin in Kishuna's Chapter, all of the enemies there are Axe Users.

You should do an unpromoted Lord's journey, though it's up to you whether Eliwood or Hector is the one to be benched a.k.a (EHM or HHM) or better, doing the final chapter without Rng Abusing their growths.

The fe8 journeys should be easy to do. Just finish the story and keep all the stat boosters. Then save and tower of Valni everyone for their respective journeys. Fe8 would be quick.
Wouldn't even need to keep all of the boosters, some lategame shops sell them and there's a trick to get boots to show up often in the ruins
FE6 would be fun. Not on the Idoun chapter though.

Hey why can't assasins kill the dragon? You only need critrate to assasinate them no? And is isn't it possible with Filla's might?
Assassins can't ohko the dragon because their silencer skill is disabled against it, they take tons of rounds to kill it so their weapons end up breaking

Like what ThePablosin1 mentioned, silencers are disabled against the dragon. You can try watching "Matthew soloing the Fire Dragon" by Rolanmen1. Even with pure RNG abuse, Matthew still requires 8 critical hits to finish off the dragon, Regal blade usually breaks if most of the attacks are not criticals. Other assassins have a much higher chance of breaking the weapon due to affinity/supports.

Just luck. She had enough elixers that she never needed to crit and still win. The last two attacks were not crits.
Do you use the same save file as a base for each run? And, if that's the case, is it possible if i could get that file? I've wanted to do some of these Journey type final chapter runs, but i can't get the setup going well.

You should know that I cannot have both promoted AND unpromoted Lyn in the same file. So no, I don't have the base save, and replayed the entire game almost every time I do a character journey.

I'm not entirely sure, but I remembered using Lyn once (Guy's Journey) and she got hit by a 7%, that's when I started using Nils.
