When next Far Cry game first trailer?
I've always liked Far Cry, but an in-game timer just flat out sucks.
I'd guess it'll be an option like in far cry primal

*i heard that entering safehouses pauses the time, but pretty sure it's just for the story, then after you finish, you go back to the open world.*
I think in easy mode and normal mode, the timer will only run in missions, but in hard mode the timer will always run. That would be cool

I’m not paying $60+ for a game that’s only 24 hours to complete. I hope this is false. I also hope the map isn’t tropical again. We just had tropical in FC6.

If the campaign is 24 hours long thats a REALLY long campaign but if your talking about the whole game 100% finished in 24 hours then yes thats short but i doubt it and a 24 hour for a campaign only is more than enough for a game lol

i just wish they added map editor back, it's what made Farcry special and had practically infinite replayability
I wish it would be a game set in a fictional Middle Eastern Country, drained of its resources, (thus nobody in the international community cares about what happens to it, allowing the private military corporation that was left holding the bag to do whatever they want). that is under the occupation of a private military corporation. The players family were captured, wrongfully accused of being insurgents and are set to be executed in 72 hours. The player character escapes and has to work with the insurgents in an uneasy alliance in order to rescue their family before the company executes them. The game isn't about defeating the company as much as it is about rescuing the player character's family. Then it would leave the choice to the player to flee the country with them or to stay behind and fight to defeat the PMC. The 72-hour aspect would only apply to the rescuing the family part of the game (first act), so afterward, you can decide to stay and try and defeat the company.
Sounds good but kinda cliche with the whole destroyed country thing, make it in a normal future middle eastern country where shit is breaking out but behind a false mask (corruption, extreme spending, exploitation of nearby other arab countries...) kinda like FC4 where the country is all corrupt but still looks beautiful behind a false mask
I agree with this notion, not only could it bring back the atmosphere of Far Cry 2, if they were to base it on a country like Afghanistan, there’d be a wide variety of terrain they could use on the map that would suit the series well
@@quest8447 When I was writing this concept, I had Afghanistan in mind along with Blackwater. A country that many had tried to conquer in the past, ultimately failing to do so. And a private military corporation that, because its so lucrative and is used by so many countries, that none dare to prosecute it. Added with the idea of natural oil eventually running out, leading many in the international community to abandon or outright ignoring the fictional country because of a lack of other natural resources. It'd probably take place in 2050, given oil was supposed to run out by this time, don't know where I read this though.

A far cry in WWII like inglorious bastards or like Saboture would be a cool setting side the Islands Settings or mountains

farcry 7 needs to do something new. There is so much burn out in the series. They continue to make dlc of the old games. Nothing that impacts the future of the series.
I think they should bring back the hardcore mechanics they had in Far Cry 2 like weapon durability
@@OperatorMax1993 Most people hate that. It was the #1 complaint about Breath of the Wild by people who otherwise loved the game. The indie studios can cater to people who want annoying pointless game mechanics now.

We need a Far Cry Arcade game, with assets from every modern Ubisoft game. More game modes, more weapons to choose from and better gunplay.
Love the Far Cry games but there is no way in hell i'm going to play a timed game. I want to take my time completing side quests and exploring the world.

I just want a watchdogs remaster/remake. Give us the E3 experience we were denied lol. Great game, replaying now on PS5 but with some spitshine they could bring it back and maybe realize the Watchdogs universe has more to offer still and they shouldn't abandon it like they seem to be doing.

Take us back to Africa, or even somewhere like Australia. Maybe do something like have it set in the Swampland/Bayou of Louisiana during a Hurricane. As much as I loved 3, we dont need another Tropical Island.

Ubi would never ever due to their stance on being as apolitical and inoffensive as possible, even far cry 5 suffers from this to an extent, setting their game in the middle east is exactly the kind of controversy they want to avoid as much as possible.
We need a proper sequel for farcry 5 because new dawn wasnt it.
