Shiver star is just the world but wight so Kirby takes place about when the next ice age will happen or Kirby existed during the ice age
It’s actually E10+, the T for teen came from the fact it was bundled with the other N64 games on switch so by giving your kid access to Kirby 64 you would be giving them access to ten games as well
The amount of times Sophist fell down bottomless pits in a game where you can fly around is just hilarious.

The funny thing is that the violence rating is ONLY on the NSO version of the game. The original and Wii/Wii U versions had simply an E rating with no descriptors at all.
Well, it's actually the NSO service itself that's rated T.

Lore dump time: Shiver Star is canonically implied to be a post apocalyptic Earth.
Remember in Forgotten Land, there were a ton of abandoned buildings and cities. It’s abandoned bc the Ancients used Fecto Elfilis’ space warp abilities to go to Kirby’s dimension.
The ancients then probably found Earth, but something bad probably happened, which is why it’s frozen over and turned to Shiver Star. It also explains why Adeleine is the only human in the Kirby series…

He managed to die with the fridge ability... That takes some particular skills...
Chainsaw Kirby is both actually terrifying and also so adorable. Proof that Kirby can be cute and haunting.
There are three mini games in this game too, but I can bet you that Brent will win them hook line and sinker.
Anyways, the last video was Vernias simulator for us because most of us knew what to do, and this one was the falling simulator for Eevee where every time he fell his sanity did too.

Important things to remember at all times:
Fire/Electric + Cutter gives you a sword (a throw able one with fire)
Rock + Cutter is OP, you can become flying invincible bird that moves fast and rolls.
Reminder that this is the same guy who can always win at Bowser's Big Blast

So many abilities, and I don't think Sophist ever really said what their favorite ability is. Mine was the bomb shurikens for just how absurd and cool and practical the exploding throwing stars were, with the fridge being a close second on providing free healing items with its attack.
