There is nothing that company can do to convince me to play a game where the entire point is to not play the game. I understand that you need the money (because making a living, contrary to popular belief, is really fucking hard), but I really wish you didn't market their lies and bullshit. A game where you don't play the game is never going to be enjoyable (and we already know that there will be no challenge because the game is designed to play itself, so all strategy is non-existent).

Addendum: the cloth stays on in public for everyone else's safety, but when in private and the cloth comes off, the camera deliberately hides mimikyu, we don't get to see it's true form, because of course not, but also, the blind man doesnt need to see it, and the camera can reflect that, we dont need to see mimikyu to appreciate the joy it brings the old man Oh, and actions like petting happen with the hand off screen, we get nothing but we see certain actions, like petting

I always thought that what lied under Mimikyu’s cloak is the ghost of a Clefairy, since Clefairy was originally going to be the mascot of Pokémon but was overtaken by Pikachu. As well as Clefairy sharing it’s fairy typing with Mimikyu.

Red Card Mimikyu was a decent pick as a one-time stop to setup sweepers if its Disguise was in tact too! Ps: Gavin Michael's VGC 2017 teams were some of the coolest we've ever seen!
An additional detail since you, understandably, stick to primary formats: Mimikyu is one of the best random battle Pokémon with swords dance, the ability to take any one hit, and it’s priority, stab shadow sneak absolutely terrifying the opponent. Many of my best reverse sweeps in randbats have been with this monster.
Fun fact, Mimikyu can reliably kill a Mega Beedrill with Let's Snuggle Forever followed by Shadow Sneak if its disguise is intact. It's unbelievably satisfying to beat a speedy killing machine with this tiny adorable scrap of a pokemon.
Love Mimikyu! Easily one of my all time favs. The lore is great and so meaningful to its whole being. Makes me happy to see how impactful it’s been in the competitive scene.
I love how i Mimikyu's lore revolves around imitating Pikachu in order to be loved, and how that matches the fact that it's more competitvely relevant than Pikachu ever has been. All that hardwork making the disguise paid off!😊

Still waiting for the counterparts to complete: - Carracosta - Serviper - other gen 5 monkeys - Gothitelle And I guess we could finish up Gen 2 with Sunflora., Magcargo and Corsola. I think those are the only gen 2 Pokemon left to wrap it up.
Mimikyu is my favorite pokémon of all time. It was one of the first pokémon I played around with when I was first learning how to team build in Sun and Moon. It was an absolute powerhouse. I even bought a Mimikyu plush sometime after I beat Moon that I still own to this day. I love Mimikyu
I’m a Singles Trick Room enjoyer. Mimikyu is always a staple on my TR teams with Red Card and Curse, it’s always a great mid game Mon to prevent a sweep, and basically guarantees getting TR up a second time. It’s a good cleaner against offense too!
I find it weird how it can’t learn Poltergeist. I know Dragapult and Basculegion can’t (and I know people would say they’d be broken with it) but you have non Ghost types that learn it and I assume Mimikyu would be better with it but not broken considering its okay stats.
There’s quite a few stutters and even a time where one word is repeated twice at the start of a audio line. I hope you guys aren’t rushing the content, take your time!

One of the best Pokémon ever designed. So well designed it also received one of the most direct Nerfs ever. It’s still an amazingly designed Pokemon. Top 5 for many people. Hope we get some regional forms that have disguises other than pikachu one day.

I just like how in the games it wants to be like pikachu, wants that spotlight. But in the anime it absolutely hates Pikachu always trying to murk it every chance it got
in gen9 RU it's most often played with red card to stop setup sweepers who swarm the tier and do some cheap and have priority and zarude got banned making it very good (also funnily enough, if cobal is already set up, if you play HO, red card mimikyu will likely be the only counter you have so it can still be VERY useful against "bad matchups")
I find it hysterical that all the VGC teams shown for 2019 also happen to have Incinaroar. Crazy how one moncan make such high usage on the big stage with restricted pokemon allowed.
As much as a shame it was nerfed, Disguise absolutely needed it. Being able to survive 2 attacks in VGC (unless your opponent was using a Mold Breaker mon which wasn't really an option due to the lack of viable options outside of Excadrill), where turns matter even more, was obscene.
I've always been big on giving my Mimikyu a Lum Berry to help it set up Swords Dance. Burn and Paralysis are the last thing it needs while getting the ball rolling.
This thing was a monster in every single team I made in USUM. It even helped me do a 50 streak in the Battle Tree Super Singles. Also whoever at Gamefreak decided not to give it Poltergeist can swallow a Toxapex whole while it uses Baneful Bunker.
I feel like if they made the disguise ability a lot more like substitute it would have been a little more broken being able to not get your stats drop or have status conditions until your disguise is broken
Suppose it makes sense GameFreak would make an anti Pikachu clone to break the mold of the numerous Pikachu clones over generations 2 through 6, but of course giving it a disturbing Pokédex entry and an ability to take a hit with the illusion of breaking its neck. Plus how in the anime, Meowth refused to translate what Mimikyu said when the trio first came across it in Alola.
Immunity to: fighting, normal, & dragon plus disguise as an ability are all very useful traits to have. Not to mention swords dance and priority. Also it gets immunity to several priority moves like extreme speed & mach punch.
It was cool in hackmons you could use belly drum & sitrus berry with mimikyu...belly drum became so OP when used with sitrus berry and cheek pouch they banned it completely...However we found a new strategy, it's weakness policy with mimikyu & swords dance

I wish Minikyu will get an unbound version like Hoopa, where we can see his true form under the disguise

I've always enjoyed using this little fella. I love using Curse to weaken dangerous foes who are 3 times its height and size.
Suppose it makes sense GameFreak would make an anti Pikachu clone to break the mold of the numerous Pikachu clones over generations 2 through 6, but of course giving it a disturbing Pokédex entry and an ability to take a hit with the illusion of breaking its neck. Plus how in the anime, Meowth refused to translate what Mimikyu said when the trio first came across it in Alola.
Immunity to: fighting, normal, & dragon plus disguise as an ability are all very useful traits to have. Not to mention swords dance and priority. Also it gets immunity to several priority moves like extreme speed & mach punch.
People say it’s a pikaclone but it’s literally not.
It was cool in hackmons you could use belly drum & sitrus berry with mimikyu...belly drum became so OP when used with sitrus berry and cheek pouch they banned it completely...However we found a new strategy, it's weakness policy with mimikyu & swords dance
Man I loved using Focus Sash SD Mimikyu, getting at least 2, sometimes 3 SD's out and sweeping with Shadow Sneak/claw or Play Rough was amazing
Mimikyu was so good in VGC that False Swipe stuttered while saying it😂
