can no one read anymore these days?! i said i LIKE IT. why would i want to go to the games when i use the MEDIA remote to start the console cause i want to watch a movie.... Its PERFECT that it starts in the media tab with the remote.
Legit remembering when a friend of mine had a ps2, he only had one duelshock controller. He had the remote for it though and I played against him back when Naruto ultimate ninja was a new game. I beat him and he still refuses to talk about that day. Lol 😎
Honestly I don't really use ps3 Bluetooth remote. Because of that time. I probably not going to buy that remote. It kinda pointless for me since I got s controller with me.
Sadly it proves to be a nuisance for blurays and DVDs where it lacks dedicated buttons so you can’t even skip chapters or have easy access to the menu/audio options
I like mine. It's very useful. The only thing I would have liked is more buttons like Square, X, O. In some apps like Funimation, it says press square to add to your queue, but you can't do that without the controller 🎮, same thing for screenshots. I wish the bottom buttons for the quick access apps could be customizable for others apps I might use more.
It would be so cool if it had interchangeable shortcut buttons for different media services (I only use youtube and Netflix). Like magnets or something simpler? Probably a pipe dream but still.
Ratchet And Clank was amazing the graphics were tight and the instant loading truly felt next gen. You fall through dimensions and there are whole new levels and they chain them together like 5 or 6 times and you feel… YEAH! Spiderman graphics were a bit PS4 for me. Your gonna love it!

@@TheSpeci3 I tried for 3 days to get one before I was successful. I followed a stock checker on twitter… got notifications 2 minutes before stock was available online and tried for 3 days. It wasn’t difficult at all… Have paypal set up and ready its quicker to checkout.. Try it.

Could you make one like the PS3 with all the buttons. Annoying to have to dig though menus to change audio channels or subtitles when it could just be one button. That and chapter select buttons besides the RW/FF ones.
I have l a PS5 but I also have a few remotes for different things and I am always losing one of them, then hunting for them. Looks very nice but another remote would be a headache. The controller works fine.
This kind of accessories are around since the PS2 and never got the appeal, a controller can already navigate menus and it's really easier and faster than using a TV Remote.

I own a PS5, which I bought to go along with my 4K TV. Why do I need that remote? Why should I use the Cpbsole for Netflix when my TV is capable of doing the same while drawing less power.
Well I did try using the regular tv remote to navigate but the sad part that is you have to use the controller to go back and change apps which is a hassle? So that's when I decided to buy the ps media remote and it felt great!!! 😊😊😊😊

Would be nice if the roku and other remotes like this let you program what fav app shortcuts your want for the buttons. Like button 1 goes to fav app 1.
Where is the *_EJECT_* button... That's my main gripe with this remote that it lacks an eject button. I use it only to watch dvd/bluray, and the progress to eject a disc through the menus is just overly cumbersome, so I just press the button on the console itself instead. Since you sell a version with a disc drive, an eject button is pretty mandatory on this remote.
what i like is that if you use the media remote to start the console, it loads into the media tab immediatly and not the games portion.

It was pretty handy. Then it randomly started to turn the PS5 on for no reason so the batteries got taken out.

I can confirm that this is also happening to my remote. It's faulty and even after contacting Sony they did nothing about it.
I must be hard to push the technological capabilities of a media remote. Look at that, you can pause and rewind your movies with it, amazing!
They should have added a eject button for those physical movie discs.
The app shortcut buttons are cool but I wish the would make them customizable to pull up any app you want.
