- How are you guys! This week I wanted to do a reaction video to a hairstyling video that I saw on TH-cam! I thought this would be really fun and again I mean no Mal intent by sharing my opinions and critiques on the way this employee styled this American girl dolls hair! I'd be so curious to watch you create a whole series this where you review other doll hair styling videos! I was looking for ones for Joss and came across the official AG video "Joss Spins the Mystery Wheel for Surprise Hairstyle" and I am UTTERLY SHOOK at how appallingly messy the hair is! For an official video! It'd also be neat if after your review, if the style was poorly done, you show how it SHOULD be done.
I’d love it if you made a video of each hair type and how to take care of them. I’m always afraid of messing up my doll’s hair.

I got the sweetheart braid on my Kira doll and her hair has lost ALL its wave and has crimps up by the part. I’ve tried everything but it nervous to send her to the American girl hospital because the first Kira doll a received had the thinnest wig.

Thank you for making this informational video! I got Addy as a child and I still struggle with her hair today unfortunately due to lack of knowledge on black hair. I saw your video of the doll from Target for minority girls and I might have to get one to take better care of Addy. Do you have any recommendations?

If you haven't decided yet, I'd like to point out that Zoe is nor cheap. If you love her, get her and enjoy her.
But if you don't really want her, then maybe try searching TH-cam for natural hair videos. They tend to be heavy on products which you must not use on ag dolls but the styling techniques may be helpful.
Would you recommend using wig/synthetic hair products on the dolls hair? Like spray to smooth and make hair shine?
When I asked them about that at American girl they said to never use that on your dolls hair..just water if needed. Hope that helps 😃

One thing that irked me about this video is that brand Tenney doll had a pin curl at the beginning of the video but the stylist didn’t notice it and brushed it out?
Also, don’t they give you styles to choose for the dolls’ hair type? So the braids would be out of the question? At least they did that at the Columbus store
This is a really great video! I do have a suggestion: I noticed the audio going in and out. I think it would be great if you had consistant audio. You have a great video, but the audio going in and out was a bit disruptive.
How about conditioner on frizzy hair? Would it also damage it even more on the long run?
What do cleaning methods do you recommend for buying used dolls?

I have a PC Felicity who has frizzy hair from the middle to the ends. Is there anything I can do to make it better? I've seen a few things online, like hot water dunks and to wet it and use a straightener on low heat, but I'm scared to try any because I don't want to make it worse.

How would/do you take care of Evette's wig? I got a used wig for a wigless doll we had. I love it but it has some frizz to it that I'm not sure how to fix.

Sometimes I may use leave-in conditioner and water and conditioner mixture sometimes AG’s hair get so dry and nappy (thanks for using cheap kanekalon instead of high quality hair AG) so water by itself isn’t enough I know HEAT is bad for synthetic hair sometimes I may heat curl my dolls hair because straight is boring and plain sometimes when the curls get jacked up you may have to use a curling iron on the lowest temp and roller set while the hair cools down I could go on but I may have to make a video discussing this

@Ben it’s mostly water will only a small amount of conditioner
