Great thoughts! Definitely bothers me that there are fewer TM dolls that look like actual children now. The doll you had on the screen is my favorite of the newer TM dolls. She's so pretty! I named mine Genevieve Lissette Lovegood.

The felicity movie was EVERYTHING to me. I was a horse girl and a history girl so I think you just gotta have the interests lined up to really appreciate it lol. But I agree with you about Molly. The movie made me HATE her and also Emily actually.

For me, Sarah helped me to style my little girl's hair and her jly and I always turned to her videos/channel to see her confidence come thru. I simply adored the stop motion and to say that stop motion wasn't something I enjoyed wasn't a thing, but in "TV land" and even once "nightmare before Christmas " seemed so colossal and Sarah made it more tangible for "everyday normal" people. I love that she has said she is an introvert and its comforting and soothing to be accepted. I'm not terribly brave or confident in the real world so it means so much to see people grasp who they truly are and show that to the world without a "care" in the world about others opinions. Thank you for being so uplifting and inspiring to the community for so many years even when you were not "around". You were missed and we are all so blessed to have you back!

I know you show a lot of gratitude toward your fam and dad/bro in law But I’m always so jealous when I see your videos because my parents won’t even let me store dolls at their place.. they would never allow me to have a decorated room in their house, and NEVER dolls on display. They they my doll collection is weird and get very awkward about it. It must be awesome to have accepting family.

If you want Molly's limbs tightened, there are lots of local doll hospitals that would love to help you out for a much cheaper price than AG!

I wish I would have gone but I never got an email so when I found out about it it was sold out😭 so if they do another I’ll go! The new AG dolls have some kind of coating on their hair that reminds me a lot of the older Barbie Saran hair. If you wash her hair a couple of times with blue Dawn dish soap it will thicken up a lot and give it some body, and it’s not dangerous for the doll hair. I own almost 50 doll wigs and some of the Saran wigs have that horrible coating that makes them look so thin! I laughed so hard at your Courtney hate 😂 I hate Mary Ellen for the same reasons and her books were boring AF. Courtney is my girl, her books were awesome and I have all her Mix and Match as well 😅 I forgot to say I did wash my new dolls’ hair with Blue Dawn - my 101, 121, 122 and 124 all had that coating, and now their hair is just so much fuller and prettier. The others like 118,110 and my curly girls (115, 106 and 123) don’t need the Dawn wash.

I remember reading Nicki’s books and feeling like she had to be reunited with sprocket and begging my parents for the dog for Christmas lol… also Julie came out that year so I got Julie too 😊

😅 let’s remember it’s Mattel not pleasant company that is releasing these products. I have been with the American girl since they came out because they hit right when my daughter was the proper age, so yes everything that we own was in her age bracket so it was all under pleasant company. I had my suspicions when Mattel took over at the fact that they would probably over merchandise them certainly take away dollars and bring them back so that they would have a greater value. The Disney princesses is no shock to me. There should be a more diverse world of dolls, just as in real life, there are a very diverse group of people that make up the world. Where pleasant company need these things and put them into practice . Mattel is a publicly held company with stockholders to answer to, and a dividend to be hopefully given out quarterly. This success that they enjoyed with the Barbie movie which will be hot wheels, movies, and eventually you will see American girl movies more than just the cute little snippets that they used to put up and they didn’t do any of that before they went with Mattel. Now we all know that little girls generally are not shareholders nor little boys or older, however, will do what is necessary to keep their shareholders happy. I mean I own two dolls of all of the I can’t bear to say 18 that my daughter owns and she has given to my granddaughters thank God, I have two sitting right here one of them. I sat on the bed while I was listening to something last night just because I needed somebody’s here to comb other than my own. I’m having surgery in six days and it’s major so I was tense and needed just to sit in comb some hair for a while. i’m glad my daughter was young when she was and I was only paying $75 a dollar and not the prices that were being asked today. Even the prices of their wardrobe is just a little bit more than unreasonable. However that doesn’t stop me from sending boxes to Texas at Christmas and the appropriate birthdays and holidays. But it is unfortunate that things that I thought in my head when the Mattel company took over are coming to fruition.
