Hi joss is my all time favorite GOTY too. Then why keep traveling in the GOTY line. We need GOTY doll to be from AZ or TX because we haven't seen any doll be from az or Tx and also Alaska I know Alaska doll would go great with AG.

I LOVE Blaire Wilson! She is my only AG doll, and Courtney is my sisters. I can agree about the wedding though, a 10 year old planning a wedding?! Not so realistic. Though, her lactose intolerant issue is realistic because it shows her struggles and is relatable. Also, I was never a big fan of Kira Bailey, she was a bit disappointing after Joss, who may have been one of the most unique GOTY Doll or even AG doll ever. I do hope for a PLANNED OUT AG GOTY doll of color next year!
Quick question how come American girl has been selling wheelchairs at for years but they have never had a main character be in a wheelchair like they came close with McKenna where they had her break her foot in one of her stories and they had crutches be part of her collection but we’ve never had someone who is the main character in a story and uses a wheelchair
I agree with all of these except for Blaire and Saige. Saige was the only GOTY I had growing up (and she's beautiful), so I'm biased. I want Blaire so I can give her a caramel wig and make her into a custom Josie from the McKenna movie.

i honestly have some ideas for ag to use they haven’t used on a GOTY yet ventriloquist(puppets) soccer basketball volleyball student leader(maybe like a student council) actress musician(singer or an instrument) video games of some sort graphic design hair styling or beauty theater rhythmic gymnastics chef(not to be confused with baking) skateboarding maybe a doll even into dolls herself photography field hockey hockey crafts track/cross country there could be more but here’s some of my fav ideas
I love all of these! There are so many other sports that Ag could use for the gotys hobbies but instead they have a ton of dancers. No hate on dance or anything I just feel like they should have other sports involved with the dolls.
I don’t really want to be rude but when I think of the girl of the year line I never really think of Sage Even though she’s all over the place and a lot of people have her and want her. But I will say in all the pictures her hair is downright gorgeous 👏👏🙌 also girl congrats on 3K. AG comes out with some very well put together characters but i feel like they take 2-3 years to plan a really well put together doll and in the mean time they just throw some random ones out like Kira and Gabriella to give them time for the one they actually are taking time with.
I actually find Nicki to be a super unique character! Yes, she's a horse girl, but iirc, that's a very small part of her story. The main storyline is her training a service dog.
I like to imagine my AG as a Girl of the year. Her name is Lilith, and she is interested in history and the paranormal. She does not like modern clothes and prefers to wear old-fashioned clothing instead. She collects antiques and oddities and leads her own supernatural investigations. Lilith is also an advocate for historical societies and fights to keep places of historical significance alive and well.
As someone who wears historical/gothic clothing, I really wish there were more doll lines out there that supported those styles. AG seems to not have much of their historical lines on their online stores anymore.
A good meet outfit for Luciana would be leggings, A T-shirt, if they wanted to add a galaxy so much they should’ve made it more of a realistic one (not so pink) and as a Jean jacket , I love her boots tho.
wow, the only one of those I can agree with is Gabriella. All the rest I personally LOVE! My least favorites would be Lindsay (not a lot of accessories), Marisol (dance girl and I didnt like her outfits and things), and McKenna (I think she looks like Elizabeth and I like Elizabeth 1000 times more) And my favorites would be Mia, Lanie, Kanani, and Kira because I love all of their stories and they are so cute! But regardless, good video, love hearing other people's opinions on this!

I remember Kailey being super exciting when she released because most of AG's dolls at that time still had bangs, so a lot of girls in my class got her. Out of nostalgia, I recently bought her Meet outfit secondhand that my Mia doll is currently rocking, but with all the dolls we have to choose from now, I'm not clamoring for a Kailey doll. I suppose her lack of a part in her hair is still unique, though, I think only she and McKenna have that feature.

And purple socks with brown sneakers with orange laces? No, no, no. I love Luciana because I love science and outer space.
In my opinion, Kailey is the worst American girl doll. Now I’m not saying that this doll is bad, I just don’t like her as much as the other dolls. Her stock photo is HORRIBLE. It makes her look faded and yellow. Maybe if I see a Kailey in person, I would like her a little bit more.

We need to have conversation in having dolls with disabiltys like with feeding tube if they AG put their heads togetter and get a doll with chronic illness I know they can do it. My dream doll is a doll that is just like me with a feeding tube and a port o Cath that has the same chronic illness as me.

Nicki looks like a 33 with freckles and her story is super boring. Im pretty sure it had something about dogs just like Lindsey. Anyway this was a great video!
I usually like a doll with a decent collection. The classic mold doesn’t bother me. I think we should have a girl of the year that got Covid 19. Being as the virus is still around. It wasn’t Gabriela’s fault that American Girl recycled her. She is still a cute doll. Luciana is still a cute doll. Though I am not into STEM. The only thing I don’t like about Kira, because her wig is too thin.
@@starryeyeschick Thin wigs usually don't bother me too much. Joss has one of my favourite wigs. If wigs are too thick (like a lot of custom ones you can buy), I find my dolls become top heavy

I completely agree with the majority of your opinions. And I don't think I've seen anyone own Kailey. I think Kailey's swim outfit was kinda cute but other than that I don't like her. I also think you should make an underrated GOTY’S video. Btw congratulations on 3k!!
totally agree! especially with Kailey lol, i had her for a month and sold her right after that. i guess the only reason i bought her was bc she was the goty that i was born in haha
4:37 in my opinion I love saige she is a very pretty doll and lucky to have and I say she Is not forgotten or one of the more “forgettable” dolls but that’s my opinion

Luciana’s purple streak isn’t giant. It hides very well. I’d probably like her better without the massive side bangs, but they do make her unique. Kailey isn’t my fave, but she was unique for 2003 as most of the dolls had bangs while she didn’t. I really love the travel-themed GOTYs! If you dislike Kira for traveling to Australia, then what about Jess, Grace, and Lea who also were based in non-American settings?
When Jess travelled, she was the first. When Grace travelled, it was the first time in 9 years a doll travelled. But then we got Lea right after Grace and Kira a few years later. It's just too close together for me that it's becoming repetitive
@@AllycatlovesAG AG is so repetitive with their GOTYs - between the travel, dance, and animal themes. It would be nice to see something new. That's why I loved Luciana because the space/STEM theme was unique.

She hasn't worn it since I took her out of the box. I love Blaire, she's so pretty and hair is so beautiful...she's my favorite AG doll so far.

Ok, honestly for me, Saige is better then Isabelle!! Saige is one of my favorite dolls of every single doll! (besides Joss, Kira, Julie, and Gabriella) I am a horse girl, so I relate to her!!! And listen, I think Gabriella is great!! My sister dances, and no she isn't black though. And Kira's collection I love!!! Well, except the bunk (ok it's cool but I think a waste of money) and the animals are too cute!!!!!!

I love you Sage doll. I have buyers regret about McKinna. My least favorite is Chrisa. Her story is good , I’m just not a big fan of the doll. I think it’s the hair. I did get Gwen that year too, and I love Gwen.I love Grace, who is Chrisa with freckles and long hair. I like Gabriella, too. I am a adult collector somy criteria might be different then a ten year old. My dolls are 12 to 13 , in all my story lines. Old enough to have a boyfriend, but not old enough to go out on a date with, like in a car. I enjoy your best and worst lists. Actually I enjoy pretty much every thing you post. I know your a. Grown woman now. I sincerely hope your career is something inspired by or helped along by the films you made and the stories you wrote, because they were great.

Joss’s wig is pretty thin, too. At least the one I got. It has stopped me from bonding with her. I dislike the dramatic layers and the thinness.

Luciana’s purple streak isn’t giant. It hides very well. I’d probably like her better without the massive side bangs, but they do make her unique. Kailey isn’t my fave, but she was unique for 2003 as most of the dolls had bangs while she didn’t. I really love the travel-themed GOTYs! If you dislike Kira for traveling to Australia, then what about Jess, Grace, and Lea who also were based in non-American settings?
When Jess travelled, she was the first. When Grace travelled, it was the first time in 9 years a doll travelled. But then we got Lea right after Grace and Kira a few years later. It's just too close together for me that it's becoming repetitive
@@AllycatlovesAG AG is so repetitive with their GOTYs - between the travel, dance, and animal themes. It would be nice to see something new. That's why I loved Luciana because the space/STEM theme was unique.

I have Luciana and Blaire. I wish Luciana's purple streaks were removable and her hair is so straight it's hard to do anything with. But mainly I just disliked her meet outfit. She hasn't worn it since I took her out of the box.

Ok, honestly for me, Saige is better then Isabelle!! Saige is one of my favorite dolls of every single doll! (besides Joss, Kira, Julie, and Gabriella) I am a horse girl, so I relate to her!!! And listen, I think Gabriella is great!! My sister dances, and no she isn't black though. And Kira's collection I love!!! Well, except the bunk (ok it's cool but I think a waste of money) and the animals are too cute!!!!!!
The bunk is like Lea’s tent 2.0 for me. I think Saige is a more unique doll visual wise but I prefer Isabelle’s story as I relate to it.

I love you Sage doll. I have buyers regret about McKinna. My least favorite is Chrisa. Her story is good , I’m just not a big fan of the doll. I think it’s the hair. I did get Gwen that year too, and I love Gwen.I love Grace, who is Chrisa with freckles and long hair. I like Gabriella, too. I am a adult collector somy criteria might be different then a ten year old. My dolls are 12 to 13 , in all my story lines. Old enough to have a boyfriend, but not old enough to go out on a date with, like in a car. I enjoy your best and worst lists. Actually I enjoy pretty much every thing you post. I know your a. Grown woman now. I sincerely hope your career is something inspired by or helped along by the films you made and the stories you wrote, because they were great.

For me Nicki was one of my first Gotys so I have a soft spot for her and I loved the doll with her hair and her meet outfit.For me I thought she was good but I get why someone would not like her
AG comes out with some very well put together characters but i feel like they take 2-3 years to plan a really well put together doll and in the mean time they just throw some random ones out like Kira and Gabriella to give them time for the one they actually are taking time with.
