@@TacticalRifleman Thank you for your service and all you do for the 2A community, good sir. The information and training you provide are valuable for sure. And much appreciated.
I just play airsoft. With that said I do feel that transition drills are one of the most consistently beneficial drill types to practise. Weapon manipulation around obstacles and thresholds is another too notch one. As well as mixing no-shoot targets in for positive target identification. Nobody likes teammates without at least a 1.0 KD. Nor does anybody like getting shot by someone with the same colour armband as them 🤪
Excuse my ignorance, but how far away are these targets, and is there special rounds being used? I'm only concerned about the ricochet, or is it the angle you used the steel targets. I've recently bought some steel targets and want to gather all the information possible for my own safety and others... Thanks for sharing your knowledge, much appreciated
Pistol: Do not shoot steel closer than 7 yards. Rifle: Do not shoot steel closer than 45 yards. Frangible ammo will allow you to get closer with both if needed. Angle of steel help. Once your steel has been damaged (dimpled) by someone shooting steel core ammo, it needs to be repaired or replaced, as it greatly increases your risk of ricochet.
it would br nice to have compendieum of Ammo. I liked what you guys with the M8 ammo for 50 bmg. Whats the best 7.62 x51 ammo for different situations?
Hey Karl, question: I saw a picture of you shooting an 82 (or 107) with a PAS-13B on top. Did you use the M2 reticle or the MIL reticle for that since there was no 107 reticle until at least the C models it looks like. Also, what was your experience with scope bite, having to press your eye into the cup to activate the screen. It's... close to the housing when you activate it. Or did you have a way to avoid rocking your orbital socket into the next dimension by cheesing the activation or something? Asking for a friend.
Tried both mil and M2 reticle... finally stuck with the Mil reticle. I taped the eye cup open most of the time at night or just removed the eye cup all together. There is no scope bite here... the Barrett doesn't kick. The blast from the muzzle brake is what makes people hate the Barrett... Doesn't bother me.
@@TacticalRifleman Thanks for getting back! I agree the recoil is shockingly light, but pressing my eye so close to the scope was worrisome. Felt that lunchbox of a scope body *firmly* tap my eyebrow one shot and from then on I looked like I was fighting a sneeze as I pulled the trigger. Guess taking the cup off or taping it is the move. Now to find some SCUDs...
The biggest reason to use the shot timer is SPLIT TIMES, NOT overall drill time. Using the shot timer to check your split times shows you how consistent your rhythm is.
Why does rhythm matter? Why not shoot what you can see (reactive) shooting, and accuracy, recoil control, and target transitions DO matter. I’ve never heard anyone say “accuracy really isn’t the point….” Accuracy is literally the one thing that matters every time.
No no. I think you misunderstood the point. Of course accuracy is supremely important but there are more pieces that are often overlooked. So… you can break down your drills into specific skills to improve and then put the pieces back together. Hope that makes sense
So this is blowing like 30 bucks through the barrel to practise what kind of combat? The whole drill setup with fighting multiple targets at 40yrds is extremely theoretical. Reminds me on those edgy hand to hand combat tricks where you are supposed to disarm one guy and knock out two others while being surrounded. In before "but the target acquision", you can practise that perfectly with single shots from a low ready.
Kettlebell exercises helped me with knee mobility while I took a break from trucking. Onnit 6 is a good program.

Good stuff, great drills. I like to mix it up with Battle Rifles too, 3-2-4-1 on 3 targets, stuff like that.

Zenith isn't bad but if you're going to get a civilian MP5, you've got to go with the O.G H&K.
👍👍

M-80A1 if you can get your hands on it. If not, go with API

Yep, that’s one of the best features on the ProShot pro timer

Of course not… they only shadow ban the channel

Great drill, unfortunately costs a ton nowadays

Very close minded
The teacher told him it could be done but didn't prove it. Other than that it is an excellent video. Thumbs up
Lol.
