Dang I forgot to mention, you can control audio tracks with the power button (single press, double press, and triple press to skip/pause/play tracks, also answer calls).

@@zooofsocks1924 that would be a down grade cause i personally think that the other arctis headsets are better. I had the arctis 3 and wireless arctis 1 and i think the ones were great but they failed on me. I think you should just buy amd arctis 7 or something dont get these

Y0L0 P03 They’re awesome. The only slight complaint I would have would be that its not the best for ios but its not a problem since I’m mainly only using it for gaming.

See for me the Arctis 1 Wireless is a no brainer compared to getting the 7/7p. I understand comfort is important but its not like the A1W are not comfortable at all, the 7p is just slightly more comfortable. This is a trade off I can deal with especially with the price difference. Then both have the same drivers so the sound is pretty identical which imo is the most important part of a headset/headphone. Okay so I know this is just a me thing but I don't care about the mic. I have desk mic and I would just use that. Lastly the price. In my neck of the woods the 7/7p costs $189 and the A1W costs $119. Its just not worth the extra $70 just for a small amount of extra features and similar performance. That is why I will always recommend the A1W over any headset in the $100-$200 range.

I'm only going to be using a headset on my Switch, so I guess this is the one for me, great video. I would have been nice to show that you can use that adapter you showed for PS4 on the Switch if you want to use the headset docked, because otherwise people might think this headset can't be used on a docked Switch.

sadly no, once you connect the 3.5 to the headset, it will disconnect wireless connection. (even if the 3.5 isn't connected to anything)

Hey! It's been 4 months since you made the comment. Have you bought it yet? How is the sound quality? How is the mic? I'm planning to get it.
Thanks to you, I bought the headphones :) I'm so happy with them, best headphones I ever had! And it's not that costly compared to other main brands like Razer, Logitech. And I use them for gaming and just chilling, it does the work just right.
how do they sound in game? can you hear footsteps perfectly?
@@riickybandz They sound great. But I began to notice some issues: if I make sound at high I can hear high pitch static noise and when I set volume (on headphones) to very low I can hear only left side. At first when I connected headphones to computer footsteps weren't that loud, I had to go to "Sound Control Panel" (you can find that in "Windows Settings" then in "Enhancements" tab I had to enable "Loudness Equalization" and now I hear footsteps quite loudly. Overall I am not disappointed with headphones sound. Microphone quality is awesome (no static noise), words come out very loud and clear, although my friend's Arctis microphone is very low for some reason, he had to use 3rd party booster which added static noise. I don't recommend to use Arctis 1 while charging since left side heats up and that is not healthy for headphones itself. My rating 4 out of 5. Not the best but quite good

Justinas i bought a pc like 3 months ago and i bought a razer tournament edition headset which is such a great headset to use but the wire is super long and i hate it and i wanna get a wirelesss headset for now to then get a better wireless headset so i don’t wanna spend money on the first wireless to not be goof
@@riickybandz remember that Arctis 1 needs an adapter, it does not connect with Bluetooth. Yes it is more stable, but if you will want to connect to phone, you have to disconnect the adapter or use aux cable (it's included in the box). And battery life I wouldn't say that it's amazing it holds for about 3 days with medium to high usage (3-8 hours per day).
You should do a comparison with the steelseries with the dac and Astro a40 with mixamp. Great review! I do like this headset.

Hard to extract much value out of your comments on comfort when you claim everything is "cosy".
But that's obviously not your fault as everything must fit you well. However it might be worth going into more detail on comfort (ie Whether drivers are angled. Comparative clamp force. Whether the band is steel and can be stretched to reduce clamp, etc).
Does it come with the ps4 wire?

I just got these today and sadly, I think I’m going to return them. My ears actually touch the fabric covering the drivers and I just can’t stand that. The sound is pretty good. Very easy to plug and play and the software is an A+. The mic on the other hand is definitely passsable, but according to my friends, my Logitech g230 headset for $40 has a better mic. Although keep in mind my current g230’s are wired. Overall, great headset for the price, however because my ears touch the drivers, I have to pass. It really just depends how much your ears stick out and weather or not your bothered by it.

The dongle should be sold separately, so 7' or Pro owners can use the headset with the phone right away without going wired.
