    I love Volcom’s gear; they have so many styles and fits for everyone and the zip tech feature is super nice for pow/wet days to keep you nice and sealed. I have a pair of Volcom gloves that are surprising warm for how lightweight they are, but my other gloves and mitts are Dakine. Never tried step in bindings yet, but I have the ride A10’s, they’re a little pricey (but you can get a good end-of-season sale price on em) and absolutely love them. Enjoyed the video and info as usual! Hope to run into you sometime at Kirkwood :D (although I go to Sierra at Tahoe more because I can get there in a hour and go for a half day after work whenever I want (I work nights and get off at 730am, just enough to get to the mountain for first chair) let’s go!

    I just bought the Dakine Poacher 26L in Moss colorway to replace my Dakine Heli Pro II 28L (a rare bag released 4-5 years ago). It gets delivered tomorrow! stoked!

      @@SnowboardProCampI had it delievered. The backpack is amazing. Something that's noteworthy, it is RAS 3.0 compatible. In comparison, Jones also have a RAS backpack but it's a 32L and a standalone model. The Poacher is also Dakine Impact Spine Protector compatible, a cool feature I didn't notice ahead of purchase. They also made the back support rigid so it doesn't collapse on itself when the backpack is not full enough (used to happen with my old one). It's got tons more features like a helmet mount and other useful things.

    Hey man! Such awesome board setups. I am thinking about picking up the new 23/24 K2 Antidote. Have you ever riden this board or heard good things about it? Thanks man!

      Haven’t ridden it yet. I’ve had great experiences on the k2 afterblack and excavator though.

    I love how you mentioned in your last video that you had a K2 Indoor Survival. The top sheet of that indoor survival looks nice but last year model look better.
    How much did it cost you to fly to Queenstown New Zealand? Did you go on Air Qatar, and what the cost of luggage fees?
    Thank you.

      Meant to say Capita. Had K2 all last season. From Vancouver Canada to Queenstown round trip it’s roughly $2500 CAD. Luckily had point for this trip. Included baggage fees. Air canada on the way here and air New Zealand in the way home

    Could you please give me a direction how stiff the capita indoor survival feels in comparison to a burton custom or never summer proto slinger? I would love to have a board with a flex like the proto slinger but with a camber profile, maybe it’s the right one :)

    Burton snowboard pants are the only pants that work for me. I tried Volcom pants a while back but they fit snug at the hips. I do however have a Volcom Gore-Tex jacket.

    • @SnowboardProCamp
      @SnowboardProCamp  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      These ones are much more baggy. I’ve had the same experience with other Volcom pants being tight at the hips

    would these pants be hot enough for canadian winter? I didn’t buy the dustbox one because they seems too thin for here

    • @SnowboardProCamp
      @SnowboardProCamp  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I’d wear a base layer under the pants if it was really cold.

    Blackstrap balaclava or Airhole Balaclava? Wonder your thoughts on both before I buy and do your goggles fog at all wearing one

    • @SnowboardProCamp
      @SnowboardProCamp  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Blackstrap for sure. If your cover your mouth and nose with any facemask your get goggle fog. I wear it just below my mouth.

    I wonder if the part of the binding that goes under your boot, is annoying while walking on snow and pavement?

    • @SnowboardProCamp
      @SnowboardProCamp  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I only where that part when getting on and off the chairlift and it’s totally fine. When inside or to the parking lot I I strap and keep it connected to my board.

    The pants are also cuffed at the bottom. I prefer that style over the bell bottom style

    Those Clew bindings are a game changer for riders with multiple boards. Just set up the bases and step into which ever you want. How would you taste the stiffness of them? I currently ride Union Force because I like the stiffness as a bigger rider.

      @jeffreystevens1543 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Check out Karakoram bindings with quiver connectors. Does the same thing but a much better quality binding

    • @winterzahn
      @winterzahn 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      they are stiffer than Union Force, not as stiff as the Flow NX2 Carbon, but definitely stiffer than Union Force. If bootout and damping are not a big topic, Clew is a good choice. Convenient. and saves some space and money for multi board use.

    • @SnowboardProCamp
      @SnowboardProCamp  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I’d say the stiffness is medium. A good balance between and park flex and freeride flex.

    • @winterzahn
      @winterzahn 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@SnowboardProCampKevin, do you prefer Clew over Union in Park? I rode Clew one day on Piste. No big issues that day except I had noticed less damping and some bootouts. From support/ in/out it was good. Clew highback was on stiffer side, stiffer than Union force, maybe similar to Atlas. Clew Bindings produce a lot of Overhang, so it causes, when deep Carving, Bootouts, not ideal for my Piste riding (This bootouts I don't have on Flow, also the Flow Carbon NX2 is much more damp and more stiffer and supportive). So I prefer Flow NX2 on Piste. In Park and on freestyle boards I prefer Union, as they are much lighter and have more natural Flex, for a quick lap nx2 and clew are good. For park progression or best park performance , the weight and flex of Clew (as well as the Nx2) is a bit negative.
